Rainbows In A Box - Swarovski Crystal Prism Suncatcher

$45.00
MATERIALS

Swarovski Crystal prisms
Brass connectors
Clear plastic string for hanging

SIZE

Octagon prisms are 14 MM
"energy gate" prism is 50 MM
"swing leaf" prism is 30 MM

I have been collecting prisms for 25 years and I love all of the ones that I have, but I had never seen a Swarovski prism until I decided to make these. They are by far the prettiest prisms with the most flash and fire I have ever seen. I use Swarovski crystal beads for making my jewelry and hair sticks and their beads are by far the best crystal beads anywhere, too. When I decided to make suncatchers it was an easy decision to pick Swarovski prisms.

Until beginning this project, I had never attempted to take pictures of prisms either. Let me tell you, it's as frustrating as herding cats. I have spent hours and hours trying to get good pictures of these prisms and finally threw my hands up and accepted these as the best I could do. But they are not even CLOSE to illustrating how beautiful these prisms really are. They are all about light and because of that, they are incredibly difficult to photograph.

So if in looking at these pictures you think you want to buy them, and that they're pretty, go ahead and buy them, because you will be amazed when you get them. I promise you a very pleasant surprise. They will be one of the prettiest things you have ever seen.

Hang them in a sunny window and they will put rainbows all over your room!

These also make fantastic Christmas tree ornaments, especially with little clear tree lights. And anyone would love to get one for a gift, too.

But for lack of a better word, I guess that's what this is.

It is made from 3 prisms and 9 beads of the highest quality crystal on the planet from Swarovski Austrian Crystal.

There are 2 octagons, 1 asymetrical flute, and 9 beads. Together, the linked prisms and beads measure about 6 1/4 inches long and hang from a wire you can use to hang them in your window.

Until beginning this project, I had never attempted to take pictures of prisms either. Let me tell you, it's as frustrating as herding cats.
