Both cards are printed cardstock with the "mod" background in brown, olive green, golden yellow, light blue and white.

The owls are stamped on the reject paint samples from one of my redecorating projects, all warm chocolate browns...yum! The owls are embossed and so stinkin' cute! I then added the words with various scrapbook embellishments.

They are blank inside! The 3 owls say "you are special" and the one owl says "Happy Birthday"....fun stuff!

The big card is 5 1/2" x 4" and the little one is 3" square. They do come with plain envelopes!

This is one of my 4"x5 1/2" red cardstock cards, with a plain red envelope. On the front, I did a layered collage with the white and red polka dot paper, the red felt bird on a branch with flowers sprinkled in, tiny crystals and the word "sing"

Here is a darling bright red eco friendly journal. It is made with handmade paper from sustainable materials in the Himalayan Mountains. The enclosed card says the paper is "fine texture, strong and very versatile, it will last for centuries"

The book is 6 1/4" x 8 1/2", and 3/4" thick. The white pages inside are a great texture for journaling, adding photos, etc, or sketching.

On the front, I did a woolfelt collage, very casually done (meaning the edges are not all straight!), with dark sage green, ivory and cherry red felts. The center of the flower is a vintage "Big Red" bottlecap, then I added the little paper slip "inspiration" All of the woolfelt is sewn together by hand.

Great gift, think Christmas, graduation, birthday, or any day! Or buy it as a well deserved gift for YOU!

Whether it's a big boo boo, or a small one, we all need to be forgiven at some point, and this owl card is the perfect way to do it! Who could be mad with that sweet hoot owl looking up at them???

This is one of my 4"x5" ivory cardstock cards, with a plain white envelope. It is blank inside for you to write your appeal, er, apology!

On the cover, I used a page torn from an old book, under 2 tone brown polka dot paper, and an owl stamped on distressed designer paper. There is also a torn strip of blue and brown polka dot paper, with brown and white dotted ribbon, and the "forgive me" metal and epoxy tag! All the papers are inked for a more worn look!

Here is a funny handmade greeting card. This is a one of a kind card, and will not be made again!

This is one of my 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" bright blue cardstock cards. It is white inside and has a white envelope. On the front I used some matching white and blue floral paper, then added a bright blue strips with 3 owls stamped and embossed on lime green squares...while 2 of the owls are behaving nicely, the 3rd one appears to be jumping around...bein' himself! I then added the "be yourself" embellishment in matching colors, with tiny bright blue blings at each end!

Here is a darling one of a kind item, made with a wood plaque from the thrift store, a scrap of designer paper, a recycled chipboard tree, vintage anagram letters, and lime green satin ribbon from my stash!

The sign is 7"x5" and 1/2" thick. The edges and back are painted ivory. The paper and chipboard are lightly inked in brown. It has 2 screw eyes on top, and a wide (1")lime green ribbon for hanging! With the ribbon, it is 11" long.

Sealed with matte sealer, it's great for any room of your home, to remind everyone to "think green"!

I love this sweet vintage ceramic cup! I am guessing is is circa 1970, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains! It looks unused!

This mug is 3 1/2" tall, and about 3" in diameter. It has a casual, freehand looking poppy design, in orange, yellow and brown, with black details. The design goes all the way around the cup. It is glazed with a cream color with brown specks, inside and out. It is hard to see in the photo, but it says "Japan" on the bottom.

Here is a darling single cup, straight from the 1970's. It is a honey brown mustard color, with chocolate brown medallions around the sides. Great for your casual autumn parties, or Thanksgiving dinner. It would be so fun to have the table set mix and match style with vintage dishes in great fall colors!

This cup is 3 1/2" tall and about 3" in diameter. The inside is glazed plain white. It has a few little flaws in the top glaze on the sides, and a small stain near the top, as shown in the photo. It has a #2 on the bottom, but no other markings.

Perfect for your autumn drinks, whether its coffee, tea, spiced cider or cocoa, we have these sweet vintage Made in Japan stacking mugs in warm fall colors! Love them!

These are vintage, made in Japan. I remember them growing up in the 1970's, so they are atleast that old! They stack for minimal storage space. Three are done in shades of olive, sage and avacodo green. The fourth is done in warm mustard and honey brown. Great handmade look to them!

These are in excellent condition, there is a fair amount of crazing in the glaze, adding to their vintage look. They are marked with Japan stamped into the bottoms.

Love the size of these, 3 1/2" tall and about 3" in diameter at the top. Great for parties, and my 10 y/o loves to drink from this size, they are easy for kids to hold!

The only set like this I have right now. From my treasure hunts, freshly hand washed and from my smoke free home ;)

This is a vintage dog figurine, marked Japan between is front legs. He is white with black spots and gray shading. He has blue eyes and a pink tongue! so cute!

He is about 4 1/2" tall and 4" wide at the base. He is in great shape, no chips or cracks that I can find. There is quite a bit of crazing , which just adds to his vintage appeal!

Here is a cute ceramic creamer I rescued from the thrift! It is olive green outside, and creamy white inside. In great shape. There are a few tiny chippy places at the base, but otherwise perfect!

To give it that little something extra, I attatched one of my aged tags. The tag has a large olive green felt flower with a black and white gingham center, and is stamped "Olive you"

The creamer is 4" tall and 3" in diameter

Snow Fun...

Here is an adorable little paper mache snowman shaped box. It measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" and 1 1/2" tall.

I painted the box white and black, distressed and sealed it with matte sealer. He had a red and white checkered ribbon on his hat, and 2 cute red buttons on his tummy.

Inside are 8 diecut snowman tags. Each one is 1 1/2" x 2 1/2", and are cut from snow white cardstock. They have holes for hanging. The tags rest on a nest of recycled brown shredded paper.

Great for a gift like it is, or use the tags in your own gift wrapping and tuck a small gift or some candy in the box! Cute decor too. The snowman could dress up a wreath, garland, or hang on a small tree! Perfect gift for a scrapbooker too!

Here is a darling little treasure box, perfect for that special gift, or adding a sweet touch to your own holiday decor!

This box is made of birchwood, and 3 1/2" and 2 1/2" and 1 1/2" tall. It is painted black, distressed and sealed with satin sealer. On the lid I did a collage with old music paper, a collage image from a vintage postcard, and silver glass glitter. The postcard features a darling family of snowpeople in a retro style red car.

Inside are 6 silver glitter chipboard snowflake ornaments or package decorations.

A Big HO HO HO. Literally.

Here are my giant, oversized wood HO Ho Ho letter ornaments. These babies are a huge 9" tall. The H is 9" wide, and the "o" is 7" wide. They are 1/2" thick. Measurements do not include the curly silver wire hangers!

you get 6 ornaments here, a lime Ho, a red Ho and a white HO, lol

Each letter is painted front and back with Cherry Red, White or Lime Green, and lightly distressed. I then added big polka dots with circles cut from my scrap stash! They are sealed with satin finish sealer. Each wire hanger has a red and white ribbon tied to it as well.

These are great for a really big (or really empty!) Christmas tree, hanging across the mantle, over a window, up the staircase railing, or anywhere else you want to make a big Merry statement!

These do not stand alone, and are not recommended for outside use.

Tis the season...well, almost!

Here is a set of 2 of my handmade tags, with an adorable card to match! Perfect for gift giving this holiday season!

The card is one of my 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" cardstock cards, in navy blue, it is stamped with "Season's Greetings" inside. On the front I used 2 tone blue designer paper, with the pengiun stamped on white and matted with blue, then a twill label that says "tis the season", and finished with black felt rick rack, and black and white polka dot grosgrain ribbon!

The tags are both 4 1/2" x 2 1/2", black cardstock tags, with the little penguin on a swirly ice blue background, and room at the bottom for your to's and from's. They have more of the dotted ribbon and light blue yarn fibers for hanging or tying!

They are painted in white, cherry red and lime green, and heavily glittered on the front in the same color. The backs are painted, but not glittered. Other embellishments include chipboard tags and big buttons in the same colors.

These would be great across your Christmas tree, on the mantle or stairway, or on a wreath! Lots of fun things you can do with them. They are not recommended for children or for outside use!

The card here is aqua and white, and measure 4"x5 1/4" It is made of thin chipboard. The collage is made up of an image from vintage Christmas postcard of an angel and children flying through the forest, as well as a strip of music torn from an old hymnal, the text and a big sparkly white snowflake with a bit of "bling" in the center. It has a wide vintage silky turquoise ribbon for hanging or tying.

Here is a darling little treasure box, perfect for that special gift, or adding a sweet touch to your own holiday decor!

This box is made of birchwood, and 3" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall. The lid is painted white and the bottom cherry red, lightly distressed and sealed with satin sealer. The rim is edged in red and white checked ribbon. On the lid I did a collage with old book paper, a collage image from a vintage postcard, "A Girl's Wish" cut from an old book,and silver glass glitter. The postcard features a sweet little girl with her snowman...so cute!

Inside it is full of antique white buttons, in all shades and sizes. Give them as a gift, or keep them for yourself!

Here is a darling altered paper mache ornament. It is a star shape, 5 1/2" in diameter and 3/4" thick. The ornament hangs from a silver wire loop.

I painted the star a pretty aqua blue and distressed it lightly. It is collaged with old sheet music, a vintage postcard image of a birdhouse with a tiny bluebird, and silver glitter, plus the word "nest" cut from an old children's book.

The back of the ornament is plain aqua.

Here are my giant, oversized wood HO Ho Ho letter ornaments. These babies are a huge 9" tall. The H is 9" wide, and the "o" is 7" wide. They are 1/2" thick. Measurements do not include the curly silver wire hangers!

you get 6 ornaments here, a lime Ho, a red Ho and a white HO, lol

Each letter is painted front and back with Cherry Red, White or Lime Green, and lightly distressed. I then added big polka dots with circles cut from my scrap stash! They are sealed with satin finish sealer. Each wire hanger has a red and white ribbon tied to it as well.

These are great for a really big (or really empty!) Christmas tree, hanging across the mantle, over a window, up the staircase railing, or anywhere else you want to make a big Merry statement!

These do not stand alone, and are not recommended for outside use.

H is for...

Here is the first of my brand new "Initial This" Altered Art Mini Journals! They make great gifts for co-workers, friends, teachers, bus drivers and more! Perfect stocking stuffers too!

These are small, 3"x4" brown "kraft" journals, with chipboard covers, a white spiral binding and silver key ring clip, which can also be added to a purse, belt, or add more charms to it! They have 10 natural "brown paper bag" pages! Each one will be decorated differently, from the leftovers, odd and ends and scraps from my other projects...I can't stand to send any but the smallest snippet to the recycling center :)

This is an H book. The background is a cute stripe paper in soft orange, a pinky red stripe and a lighter orange. It has a big chipboard "H" in brown with glitter, then "Hug", "Happy", "High Fashion", "Heartwarming", "Harmony", "Honesty" and a e orange felt flower with a pink center.

These are great for any girl, tweens and up. I would not recommend most of them for small children, due to the glitter glass, and other small pieces.

If you need an initial you don't see in my shop, convo me with the letter you need, and a color preference, and I will dig through my stuff and see what I can do for you! I also could do short (3 letter) words, or initials, such as KJR.

Happy Girl Vintage Childs Floral Dress with Collage Tag for Display

Happy Girl...

Here is a vintage little girl's dress. I don't know the age of it, but I'm sure it's older than 1988...maybe 70's? Anyway it is just darling and would be so cute to display in your vintage or shabby cottage!

The dress is handmade and therefore has no tag. I would guess it is about a size 6. It is 10" across the shoulders and is about 35" long. It is made of a thin, almost sheer white fabric with blue and red flowers. It has smocking around the waist, off white lace around the square neck and sleeves, with black ribbon running through it. Overall the dress is in good condition, with a few stains that are not very noticeable. The lace around the neck has a stain that appears to be from age. The ribbon that held in closed in back is missing.

I pinned one of my altered tags to the front of the dress with a big blue safety pin, The tag has a red background paper, the picture of the happy girl, a red chipboard flower with a gingham center, and the title "Happy Girl" done ransom style in a mix of letters!

Freshly washed and ironed, from my smoke free home! The hanger is NOT included, sorry!

Flower Power Darling Vintage Little Girls Outfit with Posies and Matching Tag

Love this! The fabric is so darn cute! This is a vintage (I assume) child's outfit, it is handmade (not by me), so there is no tag, but the style and fabric looks 70's to me. There is no size on it, but it looks like it would fit my son who wears a size 8...but I couldn't get him to model it, lol

The top measures 12" across the shoulders, and 14" long. It has a sailor type collar, and big white flower buttons down the front. It also has darts on the front and back, and white trim around the sleeves and collar, and a scalloped botton.

The skirt is about 21" long and 13" across the waist. It has straps to go across the shoulders under the top, and is gathered with white buttons to fasten it in back.

Condition is good...it does have some light brown stains (looks like chocolate ice cream to me) on both sides of the collar, some on the bodice and a spot at the bottom of the top. It is somewhat noticeable, but, to me, doesn't really detract from the cute-ness of the outfit. I did not try to get it out, other than shout, so you might have a secret method to get it clean! The top is more faded than the skirt, like it has been washed more. I can't find any other major stains, rips, tears, and only one very small hole on the top. All the buttons are attatched.

To the front of the top, I attatched a scalloped round tag to mimic the flowers on the outfit, with a light blue chipboard circle in the middle, that says "LOVE" The flowers on the chipboard are flocked :)

The hanger is not included. This is intended for display, but could be worn if you had someone more willing than my son :)

Autumn Gold...

This is a vintage metal flower brooch, I'm not sure if it is brass? It is very lightweight, and in great condition. The finish is a little dull,and I did not attempt to clean it. Love the vintage look! The flower is made up of individual swirly "petals", with a round center surrounded by more loops. It has a pin back and is very sturdy.

Size on this is 2 1/2" or 5 1/2" cm

Great on a jacket, sweater, or blouse this autumn. Also cute on a purse, scarf, or used for home decor.

Here is a darling mini notebook to hang on your key chain or your bag.

This is one of my 3"x4" chipboard "kraft" notebooks, with a spiral binding. Inside are 10 brown paper bag pages, great for jotting down notes, ideas, or gluing small photos too! It has a key ring attatched to it, which you can hook on your keys, purse, or anything else you'd like!

On the front is one of my purple layered flowers, layered over a scrap of sage green paper. HOPE is stamped on the bottom corner.

Makes a great stocking stuffer or small gift idea...even a cute package decoration!

Surprise!

Here is a very cute Halloween card, great for that special little monster in your life, or even a big one!

This is one of my 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" ORANGE cardstock cards. On the front I used a fun Halloween stripe paper, with the trick or treating Frankenstein , who has black glittered shoes, the jack o'lantern's mouth is glittered too. Little Frankie holds a chipboard banner that says "Surprise"!

The card is stamped "Happy Halloween" inside, and has two cute candy corns!

The envelope is also orange, and is stamped with "Trick or Treat"

These cards are acid free, and can be used in your scrapbook later, as cute page accents!

EEK!!!! A SPIDER!

Here is a very cute Halloween card, great for that special little Spiderman in your life, or even a big one!

This is one of my 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" ORANGE cardstock cards. On the front I used a fun black and orange spiderweb paper, with the adorable arachnid, who has black glittered legs, and EEK spelled out in vintage game chipboard tiles.

The card is stamped "Happy Halloween" inside, and has a cute skull!

The envelope is also orange, and is stamped with "Trick or Treat"

No need for a feeding frenzy, there are plenty of these kewl memory game tags to go around, but only one set just like this :)

Here is a set of my funky new tags, made from cards stolen from a vintage (1970's) Memory Game!

The tags are 2" square, 1/16th thick chipboard, with a glossy protective cover. They are printed on one side with either the huge yellow diamond (haha), the miles of urns or the plate of dessert, and a red and white grid on the back. I added an appropriate word or phrase to each one. You are getting the 6 shown here, including Bedazzled, Dazzling, Keep Life Simple, Be Unique, Indulgence and Feeding Frenzy. A random mix, which makes them that much more fun (I hope!)

These do come with white twine for hanging or tying.

Great for gifts, scrapbooking or other projects. fun to collect too.

Icky, icky, creepy, creepy....

not for those of you who are creeped out by bugs (or scared of Tigers), here is a set of my funky new tags, made from cards stolen from a vintage (1970's) Memory Game!

The tags are 2" square, 1/16th thick chipboard, with a glossy protective cover. They are printed on one side with a photo of our exotic and creepy bugs, or awesome and magnificent tigers and a red and white grid on the back. I added an appropriate word or phrase to each one. You are getting the 6 shown here, Perfection, Exotic, Wonder, Creepy, Awesome and Magnificent.

These do come with white or brown twine for hanging or tying.
