Psychedelic Pyrotechnic Post Earrings

$25.00
Another rendition of the beads found in susanclare's Etsy shop, these multicolored woven tapestry beads are truly striking.

I paired them with black onyx, and added a marquis-shaped crystal with an Aurora Borealis coating on one side. A tiny black rocaille in a tasteful black rounds out the look.

The gorgeous woven spheres are 15mm tall and approximately 18mm along their "equator". They dangle about 1-1/4" (3cm) from 2.5mm Sterling silver posts, like some odd disco ball with a flair for fireworks.

Totally striking, completely elegant, and definitely unique! You will need to think up some witty repartee to handle all the "ooh's" and "ahh's" you'll undoubtedly get!

If you would prefer Sterling hooks, convo me and I will be happy to trade out for you, but please be aware that will most likely lengthen the entire earring profile by perhaps 1/4".

Sour Grapes - Fluorite Earrings with Pearls Peridot and Silver

$25.00
You've heard the term ... "sour grapes": usually referring to the attitude of one who does not lose gracefully. According to Wikipedia, "- refers to the denial of one's desire for something that one fails to acquire or to the person who holds such denial. ... the Persian expression: "The cat who cannot reach the meat says it stinks!". ... In psychology, this behavior is known as rationalization. It may also be called reduction of cognitive dissonance."

None of that really applies here, though ... I call this set "sour grapes" because the 18-20mm (about 3/4") smooth fluorite ovals show the beautiful colors of green and luscious purple grapes.

Then again, since these are hardly grade AAA fluorite, and many would turn up their noses at what could be seen as "low quality", that attitude could be a sort of "sour grapes" one. Because the fluorite, while cracked in places and showing many internal fractals, is beautiful in its imperfection. The fractals catch the light in various ways, causing myriad flickers and colors, almost like a prism.

Accenting the fluorite are tiny Sterling beads in an ovoid square shape, cultured freshwater pearls, and peridot heishi. Not to be outdone by the wonderfully imperfect fluorite, the peridot is also quite attractive in its rough cut shape.

The earrings are on Sterling silver hooks. They dangle approximately 1-3/4" (45mm) from the ear lobe.

Perfection may be Beauty, but not all that is beautiful is perfect! And, of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A truly gorgeous piece of jewelry.
All the stones are separated by tiny Sterling beads. Each dangle ends in a pointed arrow-shaped paddle, to catch the breeze and keep these chandelier earrings moving for maximum glitz. Hung on Sterling silver hooks. Not really grapes but just as luscious!

Peanut shaped freshwater pearls form the "body".

These adorable little angels are 1-1/8" (29mm) long. With the silver plated lever-back earring hooks they hang 1-3/4" (45mm) from the ear.

Hanging from Sterling silver hooks you will find cut glass crystals, Celestial crystal cubes, yellow glass, and a molded glass lemondrop, all separated by Bali silver daisies! Almost makes you want to hang them from an ice cold glass instead of wearing them, but they will look much more summery on you!

The spacers are copper, as are the earwires.

The main part of the earring is about 1.25’ (32mm), and when worn, hang from the ear at right about 2” (5cm). The headpins, which do not touch the ear, are gold plate.

If you prefer gold fill or sterling silver hooks, I will switch them out for you for an additional $1.50, but please note that it will change the entire look of the earrings.

Also note that the last photo shows the matching necklace listed elsewhere in my shop, and must be purchased separately.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Parts are translucent and parts are opaque, and parts are just plain shimmering.

Tiny Sterling silver spheres separate these flattened stones from the short strands of four polished iolite ovals. These, too, are irregularly sized and shaped, but smooth. Mostly translucent, they almost glow with swirls of deep violet blue.

A large, polished Sterling silver hook and eye clasp, in the swirling shape of a smooth edged leaf, finishes the necklace. It can be wrapped twice around your neck if you desire, making it versatile.

Please check out the matching pair of earrings listed elsewhere on this site! Note that they are pictured in the last photo listed here just for comparison. They do not come with the necklace and must be purchased separately.

Feel free to convo me if you have any questions!
It is slightly heavy and cool to the touch, although the cultured freshwater button pearls provide a warm, peachy glow. The multi-hued soapstone beads are variously shaped and carved, giving the entire piece an exotic and elegant look.

The last photo includes the matching pair of earrings, listed separately in my shop. They do not come with this necklace.

Please feel free to convo me if you have any questions.
Dangling from the Sterling silver hooks, the entire length is nearly 2.25” (6cm). They are accented with tiny Sterling silver beads.

The entire earring looks chunky but is surprisingly light. Please see the matching necklace listed elsewhere in my shop! Also please note that the last photo includes the necklace for comparison, but the necklace is *not* included in the price of the earrings and must be purchased separately.

Feel free to convo me with any questions!
It does not slide.

All the spacer and accent beads are Sterling silver.

The set includes a pair of matching dangle earrings on Sterling silver hooks.

There was a certain amount of processing along the way, of course.

These incredibly striking earrings are made from sliced shell in a gorgeous creamy white. Enhanced by a fringe of red-dyed coral and capped with a black agate 8mm bead, they are a full 2" (51mm) long and dangle quite charmingly.

With the gold plated surgical steel hooks, they will hang at about 3" (7.5cm) from your ear lobe.

Not for the faint of heart, and definitely not subtle! The Dakota Sioux believed that the raccoon has spirit powers. Many tribes saw him as a trickster, on par with Coyote and Hare.

Originally thought to be a rather solitary and nocturnal animal, it's now known that raccoons are social, and will gather in gender specific groups. Also, they will come out in the daytime. It's all part of their urbanization, I suppose.

These particular little ceramic raccoons travel in pairs, and will stay awake as long as you need them to! They're about 5/8" long and 3/8" tall (about 14mmx11mm), and surrounded by black onyx beads to match their tiny masks and cute little noses.

Below them hang silver toned leaf fronds, from which dangle another black stone, this time black agate, and tiny white freshwater pearls.

The entire array is not quite 1-3/4" (4.5cm) and dangles from a silver plated swirl of an ear hook.

Put some playfulness and a bit of clever in your attire with these adorable little woodland animals!

Spicy Grapes on a Fiery Morning Necklace with CZ Pendant Swarovski Crystals and Lepidolite

You reach for your cold glass of luscious grape juice, made by faeries perhaps, from clear crystalline grapes with smooth pale skins. The tang of the freshly squeezed grapes has a hint of cinnamon ... the fiery spice wakening your senses as you start your day ...

The slighty waxy looking varietal beads that make up the necklace strand are a kind of lepidolite, known in the gem trade as Lavender Stone. They compliment the multi-hued, cubic zirconia grape cluster that is the focal point here quite nicely.

Accented with olivine and fire-opal colored Swarovski crystals here and there, this 20" the 18.5" (just under 51cm) strand is finished with an elegant swirl of a gold plated hook and eye clasp.

Gold filled beads, and a pressed glass grape leaf depending from the clasp, add further interest, making this entire necklace a gorgeous addition to your wardrobe.
They really dream of silver! And sparkling gems. Anything of value, really. Gold is just a metaphor.

Now these ... these are worthy of a leprechaun's hoard!

10x13mm oval glas beads with lovely foil wrapping inside are what first catch your eye. In the sunlight, purples and blues can even be seen to glimmer from the inner depths of the lampwork.

Two tiny white freshwater button pearls are like dew on the grass, sitting atop the green oval.

The base is an ornate Bali Sterling silver bead cap, anchored with a 3mm black onyx round.

1.5" (40mm) from the ear to the base, this lovely Eire-inspired set dangles from Sterling silver hooks.

Lavish enough for a leprechaun, but goes just as well for a casual night on the green.

As usual, if you prefer posts, I'll be happy to swap out for you, just send me a convo with your request.

Black licorice or those cherry-flavored whips you used to get as a kid? Well, now you can have both! At least in spirit ...

Red dyed branch coral and black tourmaline join up to make these striking stitch markers. Accented by tiny silver lined gold rocaille beads, five of the set of six are about 3/4" long (approx. 2cm), while the sixth is close to 1-1/4" long (nearly 3cm), with an additional black tourmaline added for differentiation.

All are hung on a 10mm goldtone split ring, and the set is temporarily threaded onto another spiral 10mm gold plated ring. They will come to you in a red organza pouch, tucked neatly in a cardboard jewelry box.

These can also be used as cell phone charms, backpack decorations, shoelace, belt or jeans charms, hair stick charms, or even earrings!

A very versatile item for the creative shopper!

Both represent the sea, while the chrysocholla beads, separated by Bali silver star spacers, represent the earth.

The matching earrings are on sterling silver wire hooks, and hang at just under 2" (48mm), counting the wires.

Goes well with Surf 'n' Turf dinner outfits or mermaid regalia.

**Note: what I have labeled as chrysocolla was sold to me as Chinese "turquoise".
