The latest piece in the artist's Buckskin Series, this piece is a real show-stopper! Tiny pieces of glass are handcut and wrapped in copper foil, then soldered into place. The vibrant colors against the "buckskin" backround make this piece really shine. Leather straps laced in and out throughout the perimeter of the piece give the illusion of a piece of buckskin stretched out for painting. Framed in oak with hooks attached, ready for hanging.

This piece was inspired by the Albuquerque, NM, balloon fiesta. Hundreds of tiny pieces of glass are handcut, wrapped in copper foil and then soldered together, in the "Tiffany" style. Many of the balloons in the piece are based on actual balloons that are brought from all over the world to participate in this glorious event.

Framed in oak with hooks attached, ready for hanging.
