A true promise ring; this word is cut from an antique hymnal. The glass half marble catches the light beautifully. The adjustable ring fits most sizes. Each half marble is unique with its own natural blemishes adding to the charm of the soldered ring. The hymnal paper has been smudged with a touch of iridescent oil pastel. Would you like a different word? I'll make one to order.

As with all soldered jewelry, please do not submerge. A splash of water is fine, but remove before bathing or swimming or washing dishes.

Vintage Wire Rim Glasses circa 1950

Wire rim frames with etched detail and plastic covered temples. Nestled in a delivery box postmarked June 16, 1959, these eyeglasses originated from Quinton-Duffens Optical Co. in Topeka, KS.

The glasses would look "spectacular" in mixed media, altered art assemblage, or would be the perfect accent sitting on an old book in a collector's home.

Rest Soldered Pendant

This soldered pendant is cut from an antique Bible. Two microscope slides hold the Scripture vertically with a jump ring attached. The piece is inspired by the theme of my summer, rest.

The verses on one side are Hebrews 4:9-10 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.(10)For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his." Featured at the top is a dried daisy.

On the other side the verse feature is Isaiah 30:15 "For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not."
Hand written on the bottom is a gently reminder to "Rest."

If there is a particular Bible verse that holds deep meaning for you, I would be happy to make a pendant with your color choice accenting the verse. Also any handwritten words may be added to your liking. Just convo me with your request.

This pendant measures 1x3 and is pictured on steel choker available separately in my shop. As with all my jewelry, the solder used is lead free.

Acorn Soldered Bracelet

Inspired by autumn, this bracelet is made from acorn tops. The images of an acorn and acorn pronunciation are cut from a vintage children's dictionary and sealed into the bed of the acorn top. Offset by green 8mm glass beads, the 4 acorn tops are flipped back and forth for a playful bracelet. Canfield silvergleem no lead solder and a sterling silver clasp give these acorns sparkle.

The bracelet model has a 6.5" wrist measurement. Please send me your wrist size with your order. If need be, I will adjust the bracelet length to have the perfect fit for you.

Vintage Handwork Soldered Pendant

Vintage materials give this pendant all its charm. The background instructions are crochet doily instructions circa 1945 as well as the cotton spool, thread, and words. The opposite side is an iron-on embroidery pattern from the same time period. The crocheted lace adorning the bottom of the pendant is handmade by my husband's great grandmother.

This pendant speaks of another era, one in which we are currently embracing, the era of handmade.

This pendant square measures 2x2, with the lace 2x3, and is soldered with no-lead Canfield silvergleem solder. The silver chain is attached and measures 24" including the magnetic clasp. The lace has been treated so as not to fray.

The colorful background is spray paint on vintage sheet music. Each side has a different color palette, one leaning to the oranges, the other to the greens and blues, with a red marble adorning both sides. It's like getting two pendants for the price of one. This pendant is an image from an altered hymnal of mine. The images are inspired by Derek Webb's song, A King and a Kingdom, from the Mockingbird album. Behind the women's faces are faint images of others representing how easy it is to walk past people in need. This pendant is a reminder to reach out to individuals, to see the hearts of people rather than their appearance.

The Amsterdam Soldered Pendant features a copy of a 1952 map on one side, and on the other, the word, Amsterdam, in a periodic table style. The grape cluster charm is multi-dimensional and looks great from either side. This charm is paired with a ball chain necklace that sets off the "grapes" in the cluster which are to represent bearing fruit.

Please request the length of ball chain you prefer when you order. If no preference is stated, a 16" chain will be delivered.

This soldered ring is made from a vintage music magazine, The Etude Music Magazine, September 1934 issue. The paper is not a copy and so displays all characteristics of aged paper. The half marble catches the light beautifully and brings a sparkle to the vintage paper beneath. The adjustable ring fits most sizes. Each half marble is unique with its own natural blemishes adding to the charm of the soldered ring.

This soldered charm is donning the cover of a September 1948 Calling All Girls magazine. Featured in this issue of the magazine were such articles as "Nice Girls Don't Swear!" and "What Boys Think About Going Dutch."

The opposite side of the charm features a "charming" man from the magazine with the word HERS added down the side.

Added to this charm is a glass marble.

With an image on each side, it's like having two charms for the price of one.
