In doing this piece I was trying to achieve matching the Once piece without actually copying it. Hopefully I have done so. This wooden set of drawers is base painted and decoupaged. I have added some accenting for depth. Inside drawers are also lined. Small ball knobs handles are added to match. Coated for protection.

This storybook box is such a fun piece. For some reason I am drawn to this time period. I love doing these boxes. Once is handpainted, decoupaged and embossed. Well, if our an Oz fan or know someone who is, this one is a goodie!!!
There is alot of work and lots af extras in this piece. Handpainted, decoupaged and decorated, this piece is quality crafted. The front and back are decorated in rhinestones and assorted cutouts. The handle is made by hand with a bright array of matching beads. I have also added a wooden tag, key ring and fuzzy yarn for decoration. I am a big Oz fan and really enjoy doing things like this from time to time. The inside has the scarecrow and lion with the tin man created into a mirror with decorative hearts.

These new boxes I just completed pop with color! I so enjoyed doing all of them, adding things here and there. They are a really nice size box measuring 7 1/4" x 5" x 5".
This one is done in a orange floral pattern. Decoupaged inside and out. Outside is decorated with a lovely beaded fringe and a fabric trim, topped off with a pretty rose to match. A new addition to my "Cherie" collection. I love these pieces because the just scream color. They are fun to do and, I believe they are great accent/conversation pieces. Especially those of us who love colorful unique work.

This piece is basecoated in a light tan inside and decoupaged with a victorian style paper. The back, shelves and sides are all decoupaged and coated. The outside is decoupaged with many layers of vibrant papers. Gold accents are added.
Legs and back and wire are done in gold. A very pretty glass knob finishes this piece off. This piece is meticulously crafted and measures 26" X 14" X 7".
