This piece may look like a departure from my norm, but that's because I collaborated with my friend, and great artist Candy from PinkCandyStudio.com. She hand knitted the cord from a lovely burgundy merino wool and added a vintage bone (or maybe ivory we don't know- but it's old) button from her collection.

and I cast a the sterling piece from a piece of corrugated cardboard- yep, the packing material. I oxidized it for depth and color.

Hand cut, hammered and soldered sterling silver jump rings form this bubble ring. Every one of these rings has different sizes and patterns of "bubbles"- no two are exactly the same. You can choose any semi precious stone (don't try to stump me though) the ones pictured have a 3mm blue sapphire and a 3mm pink tourmaline.. The rings pictured are size 6 and 7 but since the ring is so wide it's recommended to buy a 1/2 size larger than you normally are.

My newest ring is hand soldered, hammered and mosaic-ed and is a size 8. The mosaic is made from glass seed beads and the regular mosaic stuff (grout, sealant). It should be waterproof but to be safe I wouldn't scuba dive in it.
