This yarn caddy is good for any small project but it's especially great for your sock projects. The base is very stable and everything is visible. It is especially handy for those of you who knit 2 socks at a time because the caddy remains open and both balls are visible and easily accessible. I have an empty caddy in photo 3 to show you that the caddy does stand up even with nothing in it. Photos 1-3 depict the caddy for sale. The last photo shows a generic caddy containing my sock projects (i do mine 2 at a time). Note that the caddy is very roomy even with the socks in there.

I also think this caddy would be great for a lace project. You can lay your project in the caddy and carefully place your needles on top. It'll stay open and you won't have to worry about the needles poking your lace.

I use a beautiful home decor fabric by Amy Butler for both the exterior and interior. Home decor fabrics are a much heavier weight than your standard cotton used in most bags. They feel more substantial and are stronger. Unfortunately, they cost more too. Every piece of this bag has interfacing. I use a fusible fleece interfacing for the body and a soft, lofty interfacing for the handles.

This zippered carryall is great for all your notions. It has a flat bottom which means it can sit up by itself. I've added a pleat to both the inside and the outside. The Carryall is reinforced with midweight interfacing which adds structure and gives the bag some weight. I use mine all the time and I love it. It's the perfect size for your crochet hooks, tins, measuring tape, etc.

I'm discontinuing this line. This product is on sale for $24, original price was $30.

This yarn caddy is good for any small project but it's especially great for your sock projects. The base is very stable and everything is visible. It is especially handy for those of you who knit 2 socks at a time because the caddy remains open and both balls are visible and easily accessible. I have an empty caddy in photo 4 to show you that the caddy does stand up even with nothing in it. Photos 1-4 depict the caddy for sale. Photo 5 shows a generic caddy containing my sock projects (i do mine 2 at a time). Note that the caddy is very roomy even with the socks in there.

I also think this caddy would be great for a lace project. You can lay your project in the caddy and carefully place your needles on top. It'll stay open and you won't have to worry about the needles poking your lace.

I use a beautiful home decor fabric by Vicki Payne for both the exterior and interior. I've paired her Swirls in Linen fabric for the exterior with her Spots in Bark fabric for the interior. Home decor fabrics are a much heavier weight than your standard cotton used in most bags. They feel more substantial and are stronger. Unfortunately, they cost more too. Every piece of this bag has interfacing. I use a fusible fleece interfacing for the body and a soft, lofty interfacing for the handles.

I use a very pretty and expensive thread. It is a 100% extra long staple egyptian cotton thread. Some are vareigated in color, some are not.

Ugly Duckling DPN Needle Manager

1) 14 pockets, each 1" x 4" (Each pocket holds a set of 5-6 inch DPNs.
2) First row of pockets are used to hold plastic tabs. Plastic tabs show sizing of needles. It come with preprinted stickers and blank stickers for you to make your own labels.
3) There are 2 fabric tabs on each side of the Manager. Lay these over your needles to provide an extra measure of security to keep your needles from falling out. The top folds over the needles and the tabs.
4) 2 Layers of a midweight interfacing is used to give some structure and to provide some protection for your needles.
5) The Manager folds up in fourths and closes with a pearlized snap.
6) Overall dimension when closed: 4" wide x 7.5" tall.
7) Preprinted labels include 2 of each:

This little Needle Traveler has 5 pockets: 4 pockets for your DPNs and 1 pocket for your circular needles. Each pocket can easily hold 5 DPNs (sizes 0 to 3), with a maximum length of 6 inches. The circular pocket can hold multiple circs and that number will vary based on the needle sizes. The Traveler is small and portable and can easily fit in your sock bags. It has a fusible fleece interfacing which makes the Traveler soft and also provides some protection for your needles. The Traveler snaps closed with a pearlized snap.

This zippered carryall is great for all your notions. It has a flat bottom which means it can sit up by itself. I've added a pleat to both the inside and the outside. The Carryall is reinforced with midweight interfacing which adds structure and gives the bag some weight. I use mine all the time and I love it. It's the perfect size for your crochet hooks, tins, measuring tape, etc.

Other Uses: Cosmetic Bags, Accessory Bags, Jewelry Bags. My husband even uses one to store his glasses. One can never have too many zippered bags!
