I made these little decorations to look like fairytale lacy hearts. I imprinted the texture of gorgeous vintage lace into the surface of the clay whilst it was still soft. Because of the intricate patterns in the lace, each one is slightly different and unique.

Hang them up around your home, use them as wedding or Christmas decorations, or attach them to gifts and cards for those you love. I hang them from climbing plants and trees in my garden in summer too!

Please note, these items are not intended as toys. Keep small parts away from small children as they could cause a choking hazard.

The clay part measures approx 1.5 inches from top to bottom. (4cm)

I love the texture and pattern on the surface of this little bird. I pressed vintage lace into the clay whilst it was still soft, and this has created very intricate pattern which I emphasized by adding deep red glaze to the imprints.
The underside is unglazed with a little fabric texture.
There are many uses for the little bird. Keep it by your bed to keep earrings safe, use it as a little soap dish or put a little candle in it at night.
The colour and texture inside are so pretty you might decide to keep it empty for decoration.

It measures approx 3.5 x 4 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

I'm really happy with these cheerful little poppy flower head bowls.
This one would make an elegant holder for a little tea light or votive candle. It can also be used in the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen to put jewelry in. The texture and color inside this dish are so pretty that you might want to keep it empty as it looks great on its own for decoration.
It was formed by hand, by me, from a single piece of clay, and is not made using a mold or a potters wheel. Its delicate shape is given strength by my use of a very strong, textured, white clay, which I fired to stoneware temperature. This one is glazed with a deep pink-red shiny glaze on the inside with darker accents in the textured bottom. I used layers of washy glaze inside to create the almost transparent effect of poppy petals, and I left the outside unglazed because I wanted the natural beauty of the white textured clay to shine through and create contrast.

This piece measures approx 4.25 x 4.25 x (height) 1.5 inches

I love the little love bird bowl, it really makes me smile! It has heart shaped feathers that make its little wings. Keep it by the sink or bed and it will lovingly look after your rings and little things. Place little tealight candles in it to light things up at night, or use it as a little guest soap dish.
Each little love bird is unique. Its features were individually stamped and its shapes were cut by hand, by me. It is made from strong textured white clay and fired to stoneware temperature, so it is strong, despite its delicate form. Its pretty features are emphasized by the gorgeous glossy teal blue glaze.

Full of love heart bowl

Because it's what's inside that counts! Each tiny heart on the inside of this heart bowl was individually stamped. Then I added pinky red glaze to the imprints, and then a clear glaze was applied over the top. But then again, please don't think I neglected the outside! I left it creamy and quite plain, with a little fabric texture and the marks created by the stamps, to create a fresh contrast and to emphasize all the hearts inside.
The gorgeous off white clay used gives the colours vibrancy, and the slightly irregular shape makes it a pleasure to hold. Use it to hold a little bread roll or dainty cake for a beautifully presented treat or use it for decoration on your windowsill or bedside and store jewelry and little treasures inside it to keep them safe. It can also be used as a soap dish in your bathroom. The colour and texture are so gorgeous that you may well decide to keep it empty...

The lacy texture on the surface of this dish was imprinted by pressing vintage lace into the soft clay, and I later added deep pink red glaze to the imprints for emphasis. The rest of the bowl was left unglazed to create contrast and let the natural beauty of the clay shine through. The underside has just a little fabric texture, making it tactile and a pleasure to hold.
This dish would make the perfect holder for a small candle, a tiny cupcake or use it to keep keys or jewelry safe.

Icy leaf dish with recycled glass

This frosty leaf is one of a kind, formed by hand from a single piece of clay without the use of a potter's wheel or mold. Its soft icy colour glossy glaze is emphasized by its creamy unglazed exterior, the texture of which makes it a pleasure to hold.
I put some broken glass from an empty wine bottle into the bottom of the pot and this has melted in the kiln and blended with the glaze to give a stunning crystalline icy effect. The surface of the melted glass is perfectly smooth, but cracks beneath the surface create the sparkle below.

It would make the perfect container for a little candle or use it in the bedroom or bathroom to keep your jewelry safe.

I didn't want there to be any hard lines in this piece, as I wanted a flowing shape that would be sympathetic with the flow of the water that will wash your most precious fruits and drain away through the holes in the sides and the base.
It's a good size for washing fruit or a little salad, and its texture, form and size make it feel nice to hold in your hand whilst you collect a few herbs from your garden or window box. It's the perfect vessel in which to collect, wash, store and even serve your most precious jewel fruits!

I made this bowl from textured creamy clay, fired it to stoneware temperature and glazed it with deep raspberry glaze in the heart imprints. To create contrast, I glazed the rest of it with a simple clear glaze to let the creamy clay shine through. Apart from just being pretty, the shape is designed to make the piece a pleasure to hold.
Then again, you might decide to keep it empty and use it for decoration to show off its sculptural form.

This season I want butterflies fluttering in my Christmas tree!
I imprinted the texture of vintage lace into the surface of each little butterfly, and the intricate patterns reminded me of snowflakes.
I decided to leave them unglazed, as the creamy clay creates a classic feel, and I added shiny golden thread to add a little festive sparkle.
Although they are great at Christmas, their simple elegant shapes would make the little butterflies very versatile. You could use yours as wedding decorations or hang them in sheltered spots in your garden, simply by changing the thread.

The ceramic part of each large butterfly measures approx 2 inches across x 2 inches height, and the small ones measure approx 1.75 inches across x 1.5inches height.

Please be careful with these around children - they have small parts which could cause a choking hazard. They are not for use as toys.

This little bird brooch will brighten your day! It will securely attach to your favorite top, bag or jacket and looks just as gorgeous with jeans or denim as it does with something a little smarter.
Its intricate surface patterns were created by rolling fine antique embroidery into porcelain. Then the bird shape was cut out by hand, and it was individually glazed using a variety of glazes, so this little bird really is unique.

Each little bird is unique. Its features were individually stamped and its shape was formed by hand, by me. It is made from strong textured white clay and fired to stoneware temperature, so it is strong, despite its delicate form. I made these little hearts to look like fairytale hansel and gretel type gingerbread decorations.
Each one was individually hand cut and stamped from strong textured clay, and glazed with a glossy deep pinky red glaze.

Please note, the contents of your pack may vary very slightly from those pictured, as I made a few sets.

These little hearts have many uses all year round! Of course they look fabulous and festive on your Christmas tree, but why not attach them to presents too?
Alternatively, hang them up around your home, use them as wedding decorations, or hang them from trees and climbing plants in the garden in sheltered spots in the summer time.

This season I want butterflies fluttering in my Christmas tree!
I imprinted the texture of vintage lace into the surface of each little butterfly, and the intricate patterns reminded me of snowflakes.
I decided to leave them unglazed, as the creamy clay creates a classic feel, and I added shiny golden thread to add a little festive sparkle.
Although they are great at Christmas, their simple elegant shapes would make the little butterflies very versatile. You could use yours as wedding decorations or hang them in sheltered spots in your garden, simply by changing the thread.

The ceramic part of each large butterfly measures approx 2 inches across x 2 inches height, and the small ones measure approx 1.75 inches across x 1.5inches height.

Please be careful with these around children - they have small parts which could cause a choking hazard. They are not for use as toys.

These cheerful poppy flower bowls make the perfect gift!
This set of three loosely fits together and looks great displayed that way or side by side. Each one would make an elegant holder for a little tea light or votive candle. They can also be used in the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen to keep jewellery or other little things safe. The texture and color inside them are so pretty that you might want to keep them empty as they look great on their own for decoration.
They were formed by hand, by me, from a single piece of clay, and are not made using a mold or a potters wheel, so each one is unique. The delicate shapes are given strength by my use of a very strong, textured, white clay, which I fired to stoneware temperature. The largest and smallest ones are glazed with a deep pink-red shiny glaze with darker accents in the textured bottom. I left the outside unglazed to create contrast and let the natural beauty of the creamy clay shine through. The medium sized one has pink glaze in some of the texture, and is otherwise unglazed to contrast with the other two.

The largest piece measures approx 3.5 x 3.5 x (height) 1.75 inches

Remember those flying ducks from the seventies? I always loved the idea, but never really liked the end product, so I decided to take matters into my own hands...
The texture of flock wallpaper was imprinted into the surface whilst the clay was still soft, so there's a stab at humor in there too...
Finally they were glazed in soft retro browns to emphasize the flock texture.
The ducks are waterproof, and are suitable for use inside or outside your home. If they are to be used outside, I would recommend that they be grouted to the wall. If they are to be used inside the home, please state in your message to seller, and I will bond fixings to the back before dispatch at no extra cost, but please allow a couple more days than my normal delivery time to accommodate this process.

The outside is partly glazed because I wanted the natural beauty of the white textured clay to shine through and create contrast.

This lacy heart was made by pressing vintage lace into the surface of soft clay. The texture created was emphasized by adding deep teal blue-green glaze into the imprints. I left the underside quite plain, with a little of the glaze rubbed into a simple cotton fabric texture. This technique ensures that this is a truly unique, one of a kind item.
It would make the perfect holder for a little candle, you could use it to keep keys or jewelry safe, or you could use it as a soap dish. The texture is so special that you may well decide to keep it empty for decoration in your home.

This one is glazed with a deep pinky red shiny glaze in the textured imprints, but I didn't glaze the rest of it because I wanted the natural beauty of the white textured clay to shine through and create contrast.

This little bowl was inspired by floating leaves on a pond, carried by currents and collecting in corners. Each organic stamp was imprinted by hand into the soft clay, and later glazed with a watery blue glaze. The rest of the bowl was left unglazed to create contrast and let the natural beauty of the clay shine through. The underside has just a little fabric texture, making it tactile and a pleasure to hold.
This dish would make the perfect holder for a small candle, or use it to keep keys or jewelry safe.

I'm really happy with these cheerful little poppy flower head bowls.
This one would make an elegant holder for a little tea light or votive candle. It can also be used in the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen to put jewelry in. The texture and color inside this dish are so pretty that you'll probably want to keep it empty as it looks great on its own for decoration.
It was formed by hand, by me, from a single piece of clay, and is not made using a mold or a potters wheel. I draw into the soft surface with a pencil to create the petal lines, and stamp the indents in the bottom. Its delicate shape is given strength by my use of a very strong, textured, white clay, which I fired to stoneware temperature. This one is glazed with a deep pink-red shiny glaze with darker accents in the textured parts. The outside was left unglazed to create contrast and let the natural beauty of the clay shine through.

I made these little hearts to look like fairytale hansel and gretel type gingerbread decorations.
Each one was individually hand cut and stamped from strong textured clay, and glazed with a glossy deep pinky red glaze.

These little hearts will look magical on your Christmas tree, but they have other uses too.
Hang them up around your home, use them as wedding decorations, or attach them to gifts for those you love. I hang them from trees and climbing plants in the garden in shelterd spots in the summer time.

I created texture in the surface and added glossy blue and black glazes to the imprints.
The ducks are waterproof, and are suitable for use inside or outside your home. If they are to be used outside, I would recommend that they be grouted to the wall. If they are to be used inside the home, please state in your message to seller, and I will bond fixings to the back before dispatch at no extra cost, but please allow a couple more days than my normal delivery time to accommodate this process.

The three flying ducks on the surface of this dessert plate were hand stamped into the clay whilst it was still soft, and later glazed with watery green glaze. The top surface of the plate was coated with a layer of glossy clear glaze, and the underside was left unglazed, and has a little fabric texture to create contrast.
At just under seven inches diameter, it makes the perfect way to serve a little treat or a tasty sandwich, and would cheer up a slice of toast at breakfast time.

This little lacy heart brooch will brighten your day! It will securely attach to your favorite top, bag or jacket and looks just as gorgeous with jeans or denim as it does with something a little smarter.
Its intricate surface patterns were created by rolling fine antique embroidery into porcelain. Then the heart shape was cut out by hand, and it was individually glazed with glossy deep red glaze which contrasts with the white porcelain, so this little heart really is unique.

It measures a little over one and a half inches in width, and comes in a little gift box.

I glazed the inside with a soft blue glaze and placed some broken recycled glass into the bottom before firing. This has melted in the kiln and created a stunning crystalline watery effect. Although it is perfectly smooth to the touch, beneath the surface are tiny cracks in the glass which catch the light and sparkle like ice.
I left the outside unglazed for contrast and to let the natural beauty of the clay shine through.

I wanted these little dishes to be like memories; little fragments of the past captured in clay. The patterns are created by the space where the fabric once was... The lacy texture on the surface of this dish was imprinted by pressing vintage lace into the soft clay and then removing it, and I later added soft jade green accents to emphasize the texture. A clear glaze was applied over the top. The rest of the bowl was left unglazed to create contrast and let the natural beauty of the matt clay shine through. The underside has just a little fabric texture, making it tactile and a pleasure to hold.
This dish would make the perfect holder for a small candle, a tiny cupcake or use it to keep keys or jewelry safe.
It measures approx 4.25 inches across the diameter and is .5 inch tall. (11 x 1.5cm)

Springtime oval mini dish

This little oval mini dish is the perfect way to serve a tiny Easter treat. I designed it with egg shells and springtime in mind, but it will work all year round to keep jewelry safe, or as a little soap dish.
Each little forget me not flower and stem was individually stamped by hand, so no two dishes are identical. The stamped flowers were then glazed with blue glaze and a dusky pink glaze and then the top surface was glazed with a glossy clear glaze. The underside of the bowl was left unglazed to let the natural beauty of the textured creamy clay shine through, and it has just a little subtle fabric texture, making it tactile and a pleasure to hold.

It measures approx 4 x 3.25 x (H)1 inches

Love is in the air...
Wear your heart on your sleeve (or your jacket or bag) with the little lovebird brooch. It has a starry eye and little hearts for wings.
Made from creamy clay, it is unglazed apart from the purply blue glaze in its starry eye and the soft pink in its heart shaped wings. It has a silver colour pin fastener securely resin bonded to the back to keep it safe from harm.

It measures approx 1.75" (4.5cm) from beak to tail.

This bowl was inspired by a recent walk, during which I found a single jigsaw piece. I found myself day dreaming about the person who'd misplaced it, and wondered if they knew, or if they'd one day complete the puzzle, only to find that there was a piece missing. I kept the piece in my pocket, returned to the studio, and pressed it into the surface of this mini dish. I thought it would make the perfect dish to keep little things safe. Perhaps if the owner of the piece had had one, they wouldn't have lost it :)

Lacy bluebird bowl pair

These two were meant to be together... I love the texture and pattern on the surface of these little birds. I pressed vintage lace into the clay whilst it was still soft, and this has created very intricate pattern which I emphasized by adding pale blue glaze to the imprints.
The underside is unglazed with a little fabric texture.

There are many uses for the little blue birds. One customer used a similar pair as ring holders at their wedding, but you could them by your bed to keep earrings safe, use them as a little soap dishes or put little candles in them at night.
The colour and texture inside are so pretty you might decide to keep them empty for decoration.

Each measures approx 3.5 x 4 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

This dainty little dish is more suitable for a sweet little treat like a cupcake or mince pie than a hearty meal.
It was formed in a mold and each tiny little heart was stamped into the surface separately in a spiral from the centre. Then I added pinky red glaze to the imprints, and then a clear glaze was applied over the top. But then again, please don't think I neglected the outside! I left it unglazed and creamy, with a fabric imprint texture, to create a fresh contrast and to emphasize all the hearts inside. The gorgeous off white clay used gives the colours vibrancy, and the slightly irregular shape makes it a pleasure to hold.
Add a delicious surprise for a beautifully presented treat for a loved one (or yourself) or use it for decoration in your hallway or bedside and store jewelry or keys inside it to keep them safe. It also looks pretty with a little candle inside. The colour and texture are so gorgeous that you may well decide to keep it empty...
