Hero - Forged Fine Silver and Brass Ring

A 20mm wide band, cut from fine silver, formed, hammered and sanded for a satin texture, fused with a brass stamping of wings then tumble polished for strength and durability.

A patina is applied to create a dark gray coloring on the silver and an antique gold on the brass. The ring is then re-polished and lacquered to keep its patina.

The back is open allowing for adjustments from size 5 to 11, but please leave an approximate size in message to seller when placing your order so the ring can be hammered to fit comfortably.

This is a custom created piece and the patina patterns will vary. Please allow 2 to 3 days for creation before shipping.

Filigree - Fine Silver and Brass Ring

Dramatic and looking as if from days of yore, this wide, fine silver ring has a vintage brass filigree design fused to the surface.

A sheet of fine silver has been cut to 20mm wide (you need long fingers for this wide of a band!), textured, shaped on a steel ring mandrel and then fused with the vintage brass filigree which has been prepared ahead of time. All edges are filed smooth and the ring is tumble polished to strengthen and shine it up. I mixed a fresh batch of antiquing solution which turns fine silver to an almost golden hue and darkens the brass significantly. The ring is then re-polished to bring out highlights from the two metals.

This ring is adjustable by being open in back, however please leave your ring size in message to seller when placing your order so I may hammer it to fit your finger size specifically.

This ring is made to order and will ship within 2 to 3 days of payment.
