This bag is really quite versatile - because of its closure, you can slip it over your arm...and work on your project anywhere! Pop in your latest sock knitting project! The doily you're crocheting! Light and lacy scarves! Or go green and consider using it as a reusable lunch bag! I use one as my weekend purse (when I don't want to lug all of my normal crap around.)

This tote's exterior is actually made of a silk, but I interfaced it and lined it with fleece, so that it could retain a good shape for you. But it's silky soft! The interior of the bag is made using a heavier home-dec weight cotton. The bag is interfaced and lined - for durability and ease-of-use. There's also a functional pocket inside, and this one is extra big!!

All Tucks are now made with a SnapLoop: a small loop of fabric to guide your yarn out of the bag. Transferring projects or different yarns/colors in and out is a snap (quite literally)...just open it up, snap a new color in, and go! (See the last picture in this listing for a better idea.)

This bag measures 9 1/2" (h) by 8 inches (w)
The long strap measures about 8.5" high,
and the short strap is about 3" high.

Kleine Blume Tumbler (NEW)

It's a new bag from SewBendy!! We're calling this style the Tumbler...and as of now, it's only being offered on a limited basis! This is a whimsy and fun one, with a great amount of room for your projects! It's just as versatile as the Tucks & Knit Ditties, but much larger (more than 2-times the space!) - for larger project work OR for the same projects you'd use in our other bags PLUS the stuff in your purse!

What's with the name? It's German actually - when I was a kid my dad called me "Meine Kleine Blume"...or "My Little Flower" and that's always been a warm memory of mine. So what a fun name for a bag!

The Tumbler can be used as a purse, but it's SMART enough to use as a projects and knit-or-crochet-on-the-go bag too! Unlike usual purses, the straps are a bit longer (with a 20-inch 'drop') so your yarn actually comes out of the bag at a reasonable level if you'd like to work on the project while wearing the bag too!

I love that it's a "longer-not-deeper" bag so it doesn't become a "bottomless pit" and I don't lose stuff way in the bottom of the bag. Plus it's darn cute.

This Tumbler is made using quilting-weight cotton of complimentary interior & accent fabrics. It's approximately 15.5 inches long, 10 inches deep in the middle. The darts on the bottom-sides measure about 4 inches, adding to the width and shape of the bag! There are two pockets on the inside for notions and such....and a great bit pocket on the outside, front of the bag as well!
