Covered butter dish features a twisty handle, and dragonfly stamp for good luck. The color is a deep, speckly blue highlighted with gold and beige. This glaze very fluid in the kiln, and where is is the thickest, it appears a milky ice blue shade.
This piece is made of durable stoneware nad is safe for dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and oven. I don't know why you'd put a butter dish in the oven, but if you want to, go ahead!
Measures 7 1/2 inches long x 5 inches wide x 41/2 inches tall.

White for salt, black for pepper, and a spotted tray to keep them on. Precious little shaker set dresses up any table. Shakers are mad of durable stoenware and measure about 2 1/2" high z 3" in diameter. Satiny smooth glaze is foodsafe and easy to clean.

The sheep hasn't got anything to do with it, I just like the picture. She was looking at me while I was firing the kiln these came out of!

One-of-a-kind idded stoneware canister holds the contents of one bag of coffee beans! This piece is wheel-thrown and altered, with textured handles. The glaze is a Japanese Temoku, which achieves its customary black-to-rust coloration through a saturation of red iron oxide, in a reduced-oxegyn firing atmosphere. Leadfree, ovenproof, dishwasher and microwave safe. Would also make a great sugar bowl.

This toasty brown sculptural mug is fired in a vapor glazing atmosphere, and shows a characteristic orange peel teture. It holds 12 ounces. The interior is a satiny matte black glaze; the warm brown exterior is adorned with pale dots of slip. The mug was thrown on the potter's wheel in two parts, and then assembled. The handle was constructed of a rolled and flattened coil, decorated with an incised line.
Though this mug appears sculptural, it is perfectly functinsl and appropriate for your morning coffee. Leadfree, ovenproof, microwave and dishwaser safe.

This stoneware sugar bowl exhibits the toasty color of soda vapor glazing. It is wheel thrown, and then sltered into an oval shape, with a hand built lid. Decorative detailing includes impressed dots, fun squiggl handles, rib clefts, and a softly rippling foot. A convenient scoop-out to accomodate a sugar spoon has been included as well. The interior is glazed a satinly black.
As always, this item is leadfree, oven proof, and microwave and dishwasher safe.
