This photo was taken at the Shakespeare Garden on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, IL. I took it with my Nikon D70.

It will be printed on Fuji Crystal Archival paper, with a slight white border to make matting and framing easier.

This image was taken with a Nikon65 SLR using 35mm B&W film. I developed the film and the print myself in a darkroom, then scanned it and edited it in Photoshop to remove tiny negative scratches and imperfections.

I took this photo at Woodstock Estate in Inistioge, Ireland. The Woodstock home itself is a burnt out shell, giving only the slightest hint of the grandeur it once displayed. The grounds, however, are still maintained and quite beautiful.

I don't have a horse, but I like to imagine the days, long ago, when you could gallop up the cobblestone laneways of your medieval village, tether your horse to the 3' thick stone wall of your house, and gather your letters, written on gorgeous handmade paper in calligraphy, from a bird house shaped mailbox. Wouldn't those have been the days?

I took this photo in August 2008 in Cortona, the town made famous by Frances Mayes' book Under the Tuscan Sun. This listing is for an 8x10, but I can resize it to any other size of your choosing; resizing will affect composition.

There are so many things that I love about this photograph - the way the stamen seem to be reaching and peering out of the flower, the crisp shadows of those stamen on the petal below them, the delicate and scalloped edges of the flower's petals...
