Alexandrite changes color depending on the light source! The lighting in these pictures are not retouched in any way. They really are a soft lavender in sunlight and incandescent light, a blue/aqua in fluorescent light (like the second photo)! It is almost like getting two pairs of earrings for the price of one!
Earrings are made with sterling silver ear wires and headpins, Swarovski crystal and Czech glass beads.

This wire crochet bracelet is for those of us that are really wild at heart! Or at least looking for a little bit of animal magnetism!
For this drool-worthy creation, I used some awesome zebra and giraffe print lampwork beads combined with red malachite squares for the focal beads. Czech glass pearls and a mixture of topaz hues complement the ambers in the focal beads. Copper finishing beads and a button toggle fasten this bracelet securely around your wrist.
I made this bracelet a bit longer (8 inch circumference) so you get a great drape to it, or it would fit a larger wrist or even be used as an anklet! You can adjust the length by gently pulling the bracelet lengthwise or shorten it by "fluffing" out the edges.

Flowers are hand beaded, and while I'm pretty good at sewing them sturdily on, Shirley would not make an ideal pet for anyone under the age of 3 or your four legged pals-- they're stronger than you think!
Shirley would love to be your pet, or your pincushion, she doesn't mind being helpful!

Two words: Polka Dots!

This is a multi-stranded crochetted wire bracelet I made thinking it would be a great piece for spring and summer. The flat aqua discs have rainbow dots on them echoing the look of polka dots sitting on top of the bracelet. I used a mixture of glass seed, triangle and faceted rochelle beads in different shades of aqua to complement the non-tarnish silver wire and main aqua beads.
