What a great way to display your jewelry at a show or for sale in your store!

Each natural abalone shell measures around 7 to nine inches long and varies in width from about 3-1/2 to 4 inches. The shell will sit naturally in the stand (we should have a picture of that soon).

This can also be used as a traditional smudge burner for cleansing or an insence burner for traditional cone incense.

The stand is carved from one piece of wood and holds the shell nicely.

Please be careful when burning anything and never leave burning things unattended.

Each abalone shell is different because it is natural, but it will be very similar to the one shown. Stands are unique because they are made from natural wood, too.

The sage smudge bundle is not included.

You can certainly have tons of fun with this hinged frame pendant. Just add your own print, photograph, vintage paper, scraps, ..., you name it - and you'll have a very special necklace. This pendant is reversible, so you can really present two different images - one on each side!

The bail is quite large - 7mm - so you can hang it from a ribbon or fibre necklace. The pendant opens and closes with a latch so you can change the image every day if you like! Consider adding components to the outside of the glass as well.

Because each of these is handmade, there will be slight differences, making yours especially unique.

Add a clasp and you have a great necklace. Add a silver charm and you have a masterpiece. Our 7 by 8 mm faceted clear crystal beads are separated by silver chain for a vintage or modern look. These crystals are slightly log-shaped, giving them a very unique appearance.

To separate, gently open a loop on one side of the chain and slip the other side off the loop. Then close the open loop.

Here at SilverCrow Creations, we love all birds, but especially crows, so sometimes we stretch the limit and call a bird a crow or a raven if there is any similarity at all.

This lovely stamp is not a crow, but makes a striking image whenever you use in it a single color - these are some of our favorite stamps - they make "easy art" - when you're in a hurry.

Our sample uses another stamp, too, D2205 - Fly with Wings, based on an old French proverb. This stamp is available on SilverCrow's Website: http://www.SilverCrowCreations.com.

The silhouette image measures not quite 4 inches in length by just over 2-1/4 inches wide. The wood, of course, will be just a bit larger.

All of SilverCrow Creations' stamps are vulcanized from fine red rubber right here in our studio. We make stamps to order. So, yours will be made especially for you - we don't keep stock on hand.

We then mount the rubber on the best mounting foam we can buy and then we cut our own hourglass hardwood mounts - we find them easier to handle. The image will be indexed on the top of the wood for reference.

This has always been one of our favorite stamps. Just use a touch of watercolor (from an inexpensive children's watercolor pan set) and voilà a watercolor masterpiece.

The image resembles a line drawing and looks great when stamped in sepia ink on aged parchment, too.

The image measures 3 inches long by a bit over 2-1/3 inches wide.

Our lovely blackbirds are made of celluloid (aka cellulose) and feature a flat back for gluing onto your projects. These make great barrettes, button covers, earrings and more! Each little blackbird measures 24mm by 32mm and about 2mm in profile (thick). They are a wonderful jet black opaque and are nicely detailed to accentuate their wings, tail feathers and faces.

They hail from the mid-20th century (around the 1950s or 1960s).

Trimming a holiday tree became prominent during the Victorian times, and spun glass angel's hair or fairy's hair like this was on of the favorites then as it is now! It adds a touch of elegant whimsy to any display - especially when there are electric lights. The soft glow of the cloud-like hair enhances any lights - either white or color.

Still handmade in the traditional manner by a family company, each bag contains 15 grams of non-inflammable super-fine spun glass fibers. Although such spun glass hair is available from other sources, the German spun glass angel hair is truly curly hair. It does not compress easily and will stay curly. Use it as you would tinsel for special effects.

Golden Santisima Muerte Charm or Pendant

The Santisima Muerte (aka, Saint Death or Santisima Muerte) is a non-canonized saint, however she is highly revered throughout the Americas as a protector and brings luck in love and life. The red hand-painted background accents the image of the saint on this very special medal. It measures about 1-1/2 inch long.

La Santisima Muerte's (the Death Saint) roots are in the cult of an Indian goddess whom the Aztecs called Mictlancihuatl meaning the “Lady of Death”. She is closely associated with the Day of the Dead and is frowned upon by the Catholic Church, although she is believed by many to be an incarnation of the Blessed Mother, in much the same way as the Virgin of Guadalupe.

La Santisima Muerte is often depicted as a female Grim Reaper. There are three figures that are used in this cult - a white one, a black one, and a red one. The white was is for cures and for luck. The black one is for protection and vengeance, and the most commonly used one is red - for love spells, for which she is most famously successful.

Some versions of this folk saint have her holding a scythe, like the grim reaper, while others have her holding a set scales. With these scales, she weighs the good and evil of your life. If the good you have done in your life outweighs the bad, Santisima Muerte takes you in one direction, and if the bad outweighs the good, she takes you in the other.

Old-fashioned crinkle wire, just like the tinsel used on antique European holiday ornaments - only in gold! Use it as is or stretch it out and use it in its crinkly form. SilverCrow offers our Golden Krausbouillion in generous 1/2-ounce packages. Although silver Krausbouillion is the traditional color used in most older European ornaments, gold was quite popular, too.

The original Krausbouillion is made in Germany and Austria. Ours is made by a modernized process that plates copper wire, so it is less expensive. It's quite beautiful and lends old world elegance to any project.

As a war leader of the Native American Indian Tribe of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Nation, he was one of the most capable world leaders of the 19th Century. Red Cloud rejected leasing land to the US Government and remains highly respected because of his conviction and honesty.

From new old stock, here's a stapled booklet of 48 St Patrick's Day stickers - 6 different designs on each page. These Presto Stick® self-adhesive stickers. These stickers are vintage, although the same patterns are made today. Add the luck o' the Irish to correspondence or even your bill payments. You'll certainly find smiling eyes, whether they be Irish or not!

These stickers are from Eureka, a classic holiday decoration company. We expect that these are from the late 1980s.

These are VINTAGE stickers and the adhesive is probably not as good as it once was. Use caution when removing them from the booklet and, if the adhesive is less than perfect, please add glue or use an adhesive applier (like a Xyron).

Full Sheet of Vintage Coca-Cola (COKE) Bingo Markers

Coke items are always popular and we love this sheet of vintage Coca-Cola bingo markers! Each of the markers is circular and is perforated, so that you can punch each one out individually, if you please.

The entire sheet is 5-1/2 inches square, making each of the markers around 7/8 inch in diameter. These sheets are new old stock - never used. The top and bottom edges show what looks like some rough wear. But, really it was the perforation for tearing the sheets apart. The sheets came in long strips and were torn off as needed.

These were used for bingo games in charity halls and military canteens in the 1940s through the 1950s.
These are great for lots of reasons! Of course, Coke collectors will love the sheet as is. But, consider punching out the markers and using them in an invitation to a 1940s or 1950s-style party. Or, wouldn't one be just great in scrapbook featuring a World War II romance at the canteen? Cokes were the rage, that's for sure! Although older, they are modern enough looking that they could be used in a modern collage or memory book as well.

At 22¢ per marker, there are just so many possibilities!

What a great find! This Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Company Time Book measures 5-1/2 by 8 inches and features light cardboard front and back covers. There are 16 pages, each with hand-recorded information regarding the daily hours that each employee worked as well as a detailed record of work completed each day of the month.

Two time books are shown for illustration only. Each of the books is similar, but the information and handwriting varies. Please let us choose one for you. Dates vary from 1902 through the early 1910s.

sugar, citric acid, lemon juice powder, corn syrup, sodium citrate, calcium phosphate, dried egg whites, natural (yes, natural) lemon flavor, natural lime flavor. BHA added as a preservative.

There are 5 unopened packets in the box. The entire original box of 12 originally sold for only 89¢! Imagine!

The box and packets are great for filling out a vintage cocktail collection, or use the great graphics to découpage a special gift for a cocktail lover.

Most of our vintage French francs hail from the 1920s and feature on one side the Roman god Mercury. In ancient mythology, Mercury was a messenger and the god of trade, profit and commerce.

Each coin measures 23 mm in diameter and is made of aluminum and bronze. These are no longer in circulation, being replace by the new European Union coins.

Old-Fashioned Laundry Sprinkler - Great for Speckling Paint, Dye and More

Our old fashioned laundry sprinkler fits easily into most household bottles. We think it best when used with a glass bottle, but it should work in a plastic bottle, too.

Martha Stewart is a fan of the laundry sprinkler and has demonstrated it on her show. It was quite common years ago to sprinkle the laundry and then place it in the refrigerator before ironing. Even before the refrigerator, sprinklers were used to help smooth linens and cottons before the steam iron was around.

We still use one of these when ironing our linen tablecloths and doilies and even with some shirts! If you want to make your linens crisp, then you must try one of these old-fashioned 1950s-style plastic and cork sprinkler to fit in your own bottle.

Consider also using our sprinkler to "water" your artwork. Or, use it with other liquids (be careful that they are safe for plastic and cork).

We have even heard of people placing holy water or ritual waters in bottles and sprinkling about their living spaces for blessings and good fortune.

Service stripes are also known as hash marks or bars in the US military. They are presented to enlisted service members to denote length of service. Each of these bars (or stripes) were used to commemorate 6 months of overseas service during World War II.

These authentic gold stripes are unused and backed with buckram, commonly used to stabilize the felt cloth for embroidery. The felted material is what appears to us to be an army green/brown over-dyed wool.

We were fortunate to obtain a length of them, so we will cut them to order. All stripes you order will be in one piece as pictured in the illustration.

Five stripes are illustrated above, denoting 2-1/2 years of overseas duty. These were awarded in recognition of time served, regardless of the type of service. A soldier need not have served in actual combat to receive stripes.

If you want more than 5 stripes, just convo us....we can cut almost any number for you in all one piece.

One Vintage Silvery German Tinsel Star for Any Time of Year

Our rare tinsel stars are from Germany and were made around Nuremburg before World War II. Each star is made of tinsel that is just a bit crinkled for fullness. This crinkle also creates the most beautiful shimmer when holiday lights reflect. These are old store stock and are in superb condition.

Each 6 cm ornament is packaged in a protective plastic box and may need a little fluffing for fullness. Or, you might want to flatten one and add a vintage die cut scrap for a special ornament. There is a self hanger for your convenience.

Silver Metal Stamping - Repousee Oval in Rectangle Frame

There are so many possibilities with this super silver metal stamping frame. Each one measures 2 inches by 2-3/4 inches with an oval opening for your artwork or photograph. The filigree stampings that surround the oval resemble leafy wings. These lightweight metal stampings can be cut with scissors, but we like them just they way they are. Of course you can turn it around to create an upright frame if you like.

Consider using this as a mat within a frame instead of regular mat board. This is also a nice component for a very special wedding favor or bridal party gift. Each frame is hand stamped and cut by artisans who created the designs.

Vintage Skookum Papoose Mailer in Leather Holder - Signed by the Artist - circa 1930s

Vintage Native American Skookum Papoose Doll in Leather Papoose Holder - with the original mailing tag!

The tag was produced by Dennison, famous for it's tags, seals, stickers and labels (now a part of Avery-Dennison). The tag reads on the front:

GREETINGS (you can only see GREETIN, the rest is covered with 2 one-cent USA Stamps. The cancellation appears to be LAKE GEORGE, NY. This makes sense, as Lake George is in one of the largest vacationlands in the US - the Catskills).

FORT TICONDEROGA (this is an inked stamp mark from a rubber stamp)

On the back of the tag, it reads:

The papoose holder has been sewn together by machine and is made of sueded leather. The top has been stamped with leather tools and darkened - it appears to be made to resemble a real papoose holder that would have been strapped to keep the little baby safe inside.

The baby is made of bisque and, true to Skookum standards, the eyes are facing away from us (to our left, the baby's right). Hair, eyes and mouth are painted on as are body accents like knees. S/he slips out of the holder easily (which makes it even more amazing that it survived this long as a souvenir!) The baby measures 2-1/4 inches long by about 1/2 inch wide. Arms are down at the sides. The baby has been tinted a darker color and some white highlighted spots (derrière, toes, heels and tummy). There is a lot of detail that you won't notice till you inspect this little souvenir. It's amazing!

It has even been signed by the artist!

This souvenir from the Arrow Novelty Company in New York is a true treasure of early 20th century vacation travel.
