Fun, funky, clunky and large - there are four pairs of
fashion-forward retro 80s earrings in this lot. These
were purchased from an estate sale, and as can be seen
three of the pair have never been worn and are still on
their cards.

The largest pair (blue saucer discs with silver dome centers) measures 2" in diameter. These earrings, due to
their size are all clip ons and all are in excellent condition.

Vintage 40s Blue Silk Embroidered Boudoir or Carriage Pillow Cover

This is lovely and would be equally suitable for
milady's boudoir, or for a child's wicker carriage.

The pillow cover is vintage 40s and measures 16.5" (41.91cm)
x 14" (35.56cm). This does not include the 2" (5.08cm)
ruffle edging the cover. The cover is made from a
light blue silk and has slightly darker blue
embroidery in each of the upper right corners.

One end of the pillow cover/slip is open at the back to
allow insertion of a pillow.

The condition of this piece is excellent with no holes,
stains or other flaws noted.

This early 1900s light ecru linen tablecloth could have
graced an entry parlour table, however it will serve
beautifully as a luncheon, tea, or accent cloth in our
our fast paced world.

This cloth is made from linen, and has light tan embroidery
in an art deco design accented with small cutwork, drawn
thread work motifs. The cloth measures 32" (81.3cm) square and is in Excellent condition.

UNMENTIONABLES....Vintage 1920s Arts and Crafts Linen Hosiery Intimates Bag

This large square envelope bag is from the late
1920s and is made of linen. The front flap closes over
and the bag can be tied with cotton thread cords. The
threadwork is done in shades of dark blues and reds and
in an art deco/arts and crafts style.

This would probably have been used to hold a woman's hosiery and measures 13" x 10" (33cm x 25.4cm). It is in excellent condition except for a couple of smudge marks
on the back of it. I have not tried cleaning this
item and do not know if the marks would come out or not.
No other flaws noted.

FISH MONGERS WIFE.....Vintage LADY Figure BELL - Marked Japan

Okay, so she probably isn't supposed to be a fish monger's
wife, but she obviously represents a peasant class of
past society.

This little bell stands 3.5" (8.89cm) tall and is 1.5" (3.81cm) wide. She is
hand-painted and marked "Japan". Probably late 40s, early
50s vintage.

This is in very good condition with no noted chips or
cracks.

FRESH BLOOMS....Set of Two Vintage Appliqued Embroidered Guest Tea Towels

Very fresh and pretty! Sure to brighten any guestroom
or bathroom.

These vintage guest/tea towels are made from a heavy white
cotton and are appliqued in a floral pattern
on one end. The hem on that end is a blue cotton band.

The flowers are in shades of pink, yellow, blue, orange
and raspberry with green leaves. Each towel has a
different floral design. Defining embroidery is
done on each applique piece. The towels measure 13.5" (34.5cm) wide and 21.5" (54.6cm) long.

The condition on these towels is excellent. On the back of
one towel down by the hem I noticed two pinprick faint
spots which looked like they may have been made by a pencil.
These spots did not photograph and are extremely minor. I'm only mentioning for accuracy.

From a local estate sale, this pretty, delicate vintage
40s linen tea, luncheon cloth measures 32" (81.3cm) square.

The embroidery is done with soft shades of blue, yellow,
pink and green in silk thread and the cloth is trimmed
on all sides with a tiny hand crochet lace edging.

The condition of this luncheon tablecloth is Very Good.
On close examination I noticed a couple of pinhead sized
faint spots, however these are not noticeable and do not
take away from the overal lovely appearance of this textile.

Very cool, and full of character, this vintage
80s large black cat brooch is looking for adoption.

I believe this brooch is wood (pretty sure that it isn't
plastic). It is painted in a deep black colour with
grey muzzle, white whiskers and eyelashes and yellow
eyes.

From the tip of his ear to his lowest hanging paw, he is
4" long. At his widest point, he measures 2".

The condition of this brooch is excellent with no
noted flaws.

MOD KITTEN...Vintage 60s 70s Rocking Maxi Skirt

A fabulous vintage late 60s, early 70s maxi skirt, made by "Glenayr Kitten". The label reads that this is a
wool polyester doubleknit. The size given is a 14, however this is vintage sizing and smaller than modern day sizes
(please see measurements listed below)

This skirt is a striking geometric print in cobalt blue,
black and a mustard tan shade. The skirt closes at the front with 8 metal buttons. The 1.5" waistband is accented
with a wide belt with large square buckle.

Hips - 38" (96.52 cm)
Length from waist - 36" (91.44 cm)

This skirt is in excellent condition with no holes or
stains.

ANTIQUE Embroidered Drawnwork GUEST FINGERTIP Towel

This late Edwardian white cotton fingertip/guest towel
is accented with pale blue embroidery and drawn thread work.

The towel measures 19" (48.26cm) x 14.5"(36.83cm) and is in
very good condition. It does need a gentle soaking as there
is some slight storage staining on the folded back
side of the towel and also a couple of small rust spots.
The rust spots may not come out. (Please see last photo)No holes or other flaws noted.

This small table, parlour cloth is beautiful. It is made
from an ivory linen with light beige embroidery and
handmade cluny style lace trim. The lace is 2" wide and
looks like it has insertion holes for ribbon along the top where it joins the cloth.

This measures 31" (78.74cm) square and is in excellent
condition with no noted flaws.
