HERAKLEIDES is a miniature Owl sculpture by me, Peng Peng.
He's my heftiest owl yet, measuring just over 2.5" tall and 3" wide. Yet he will fit just about anywhere. Imagine him as the centerpiece of a rustic autumn display.

* He was individually hand-sculpted from premium paper clay (very hard and cement like), over an internal armature and enclosed weight for a nice substantial feel.
* His eyes are antique metal buttons.
* Beak is genuine GEMSTONE.
* Mosaic wings of Vintage painted wood beads.
* Hand painted in artist grade acrylics.
* Sensitively aged to appear like an old stone relic.
* Sealed with a MATTE UV protective varnish.
* ARTIST GRADE materials always used throughout.
* Archivally signed and dated on the bottom by me.

*My sculptures are created as little objects d'art, intended for adults or safely displayed. A lot of time and love goes into each one, with attention to the smallest details (I work very small, afterall!).

What is paperclay? It's a unique, non-toxic, eco-friendly, air hardening modeling material. When dried, it's similar to a soft wood. It is very durable, lightweight, and retains fine details.

ALDORA Miniature OWL Sculpture, Day of the Dead, One of a Kind Art Object

ALDORA (meaning "winged gift" in Greek) is a miniature Owl sculpture by me, Peng Peng. She'd make a wonderful centerpiece in an autumn display.

This petite owl measures just a wee 2" tall, and will fit just about anywhere.
She is fully hand-painted over fine etched 'feather' lines for nice texture and depth, and her wings have mosaic tiny glass beads.
