This is a little different version of one of my favorite quotes – “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.” It is also the smaller version of my "Manly Message Cuff" - which is a tad bit wider.

It is funny how life throws you these ups and downs – no matter what! And, it really is about what you do and how you handle those downs (and ups) that make all the difference! This quote reminds us of this.

I have take a pretty wide and heavy gauge strip of sterling silver and hand stamped the quote on the inside, which rests closer to the body. On the outside, I have hammered it a bit to give the look of rain or just a bit of lined texture. If you are interested in having another quote in the inside of the bracelet, just convo me and we can work something out. I can fit up to 75-80 characters. After stamping and hammering, the entire piece is oxidized to make it pop!

The cuff is 5 mm wide (3/16’ inch) and is 2 mm thick, so it is a substantial and heavy piece. The cuff measures about 6 ¼ inches in length and can be adjusted to fit most any wrist. Please let me know if you think you need a different length or are unsure.

"Be Where You Are" What a great reminder! Sometimes we get so caught up in where we COULD be that we actually forget to be where we are. If you remember to be where you are, you won't waste a single moment - unless you want to waste it!

This necklace is made from about a 1 3/4" piece of sterling silver that has been hammered on the front and curved slightly to resemble a tettor totter. On the back, the words "Be Where You Are" are hand stamped. You can add what ever reminder you like to the back as long as it is not over 16 characters, including spaces. It hangs from an 18" sterlling silver ball chain. If you would like another chain, just convo me and I will let you know what I have.

Bangles of the Heart

I just love bangle bracelets! Here I have put three different shaped bangles and seized them with a heart!

The first bangle is made from heavy gauge sterling silver round wire, the second is made from a different size heavy gauge sterling silver round wire that has been hammered, and the third is made from a flat rectangle sterling silver wire. The three are held together by a sterling silver ring that bears a round disc with a brass heart hand cut and soldered onto it.

The entire bracelet has then been oxidized - I can't get enough of that! It just brings out all the qualities of the piece!

The diameter of these bracelets measure 2 ¾ inches but I can make them 2 ½ inches as well. Please let me know which you would like!

Seek balance and find happiness! That is the quote that is hand stamped on this sterling silver and brass necklace. Our hectic daily life has so many pressures and is so intense. At first, this was my rendition of the old wishbone with a twist that represents all your wishes and dreams. But as I started crafting it, it looked more like two arms intertwined thus representing friendship. OR two bodies intertwined representing love and romance. I don’t know which - You choose!

Either way it is a conversation piece. The piece measures about 1 ½ inches and is made from two pieces of sterling silver wires that have been hammered and forged to wrap around each other. I then soldered them together for security. You can choose to have the oxidized version (darkened a bit - my favorite)that is in the first three pictures or have it polished to a shine(like the last one)! Just let me know at time of purchase. It is attached by soldered jumprings to an 18" sterling silver chain. Jump rings are soldered for security.

This is the quote for those who are thinking of the past or trying to live in the future. The time is now. SO Live It Now! It is kind of like the quote “Be Where You Are”. Sometimes all of us need to be reminded of this, now and again.

I wanted a tiny cuff that could be worn all the time, maybe never to be taken off. This is it!
I have taken a much smaller version of the “Heart-ful Cuff” and the “Manly Message Cuff” and hand stamped “Live Now: Each moment that passes is something that cannot be returned to us.” on it. You can choose any quote, words or phrases that you like. I can hand stamp about 80 characters on the 6 inch cuff. I RUN (Period) Necklace

This piece was inspired from a recent two hour run I ventured out on in preparation for my upcoming marathon. It was a cold day in Traverse City and I decide to run along the Old Mission Peninsula to give me a little inspiration that was greatly needed. And pretty early in the run, as it usually does in February, it began to snow. It was a truly breathtaking (in more ways than one) site. It seemed as though all I could really make out at some points along the way were these beautiful green trees – white pines all along the road! I even passed another runner (imagine that, someone as crazy as me to run in the snow!) and he commented on what a beautiful day. I had to totally agree. I remember passing cars and a few giving me the “are you crazy?!” look. I just thought to my self…yeah, I run. I run in the snow. I run period!
Anyway, that is where this piece came about, on my two hour run amongst the white pines!

It is made from Precious Metal Clay and the images are hand drawn by me. I hand wrote “I Run.” on the back. You can wear it either way, so the girl faces the front or the “I run.” faces the front. I can always change the girl to a guy if you would like! The fine silver disc measures ¾ inch in diameter and hangs from a sterling silver ball chain that is 18 inches long. A Spring Sunrise Like No Other

These earrings were inspired from a recent hike near Sabin Pond in Traverse City, Michigan.

They are cut from sterling silver and then hand stamped to look like a field of spring time flowers waiting to bloom. I then oxidized them once to bring out the flowers then once more to create a sunrise color. These you see are one-of-a-kind, for the process used to create the colors is different every time!

These are 1 inch in length and are hung from hand crafted ear wires.

A Slice of Heaven Memory/Remembrance Necklace

This necklace has been on my mind for quite a while now…I just couldn’t come up with a design or words that I liked. My dad, aunt and grandmother passed away this past year and it has been very difficult for my mother, my sisters, and me. We have lost three of our best friends. I wanted to do something to remember them by and to let my mom know it is okay to move forward in life. So I created this necklace, “A Slice Of Heaven”, for my mom, sisters, and me.

It is made from sterling silver square wire. The words “Always move forward…” are hand stamped on the top side of the four-sided wire. This can be read by the person wearing the necklace when they look down. On the side that touches the skin – closest to the heart – I hand stamped the words “but never forget”. On the side that everyone else can see I have hammered the square wire to add texture and uniqueness. I have formed the wire into a shape that resembles a slice of some sort...for me a slice of heaven. It is on an 18” cable chain, in which all jump rings have been soldered for security. The entire piece is oxidized to bring out the wording and the hammered pattern.

This is the perfect gift for someone who has lost someone special and may need to remember it is okay to move on in life. This is another most for any southern girl! My sisters and I all had a bracelet, ring, earrings, and a necklace before we could even walk! I have taken my custom secret quote bracelet and made it to fit babies to toddlers. My neice Whitney wanted a bracelet just like her mom's so, here is one that I made for her! We always sing "You are my Sunshine" when I visit, so I stamped part of that song onto the top (what she wanted) of the bracelet. So it is a little different than the adult version, but I can stamp it either way! On the inside is "I love you to the moon and back - Gigi".

This listing is for one copper bracelet, stamped on two sides - for example, the inside and outside, or on top and bottom. I can fit about 80 characters on this size bracelet, which is about 5 inches around. Any words or phrases can be stamped for you!

A good way to find the correct size for your baby or toddler is measure the length from the pointer knucle to inbetween the ring finger and pinky finger knuckle when the hand is in a fist. This would be the diameter of the bracelet.

A 4 inch (about a 1 1/4 inch diameter) bangle will usually fit newborns to 12 months. A 5 inch (a 1 5/8 inch in diameter) will fit up to 5 years. Please convo me if you have any questions.

A tree in an art frame? I don’t know why I decided to hang the tree from a copper tube, it just looked like it should be there, almost like it was hanging from a frame.

Two Hearts, One Soul Wedding Necklace

This is a version of the Family Names Pendant that I made, except this one is especially for a new or not so new bride. There are four sides to the pendant, on side (either the front or back) has the couple’s last name (or wedding date) and the other is the couple’s first names (or wedding date). One side of the pendant is stamped with the words “Two Hearts” and the other side is stamped with “One Soul”. This is a great wedding gift or a gift to yourself to celebrate your marriage. I can stamp about 132 characters, which includes spacing on a 2 3/4 inches in diameter bracelet - which is a size large. There are three sizes most bangles come in - Small, Medium, and Large. The small is about 2 and 1/4 inches in diameter; the medium is 2.5 inches; and the large is 2.75 inches. One way of approximating your bangle size is to make a fist and measure the length from the outside of the pointer finger knuckle to the point between the ring finger and pinky finger knuckle. This measurement equals the required diameter for your bangle. The standard size is 2.5.

“Not All Who Wander Are Lost” This is one of my favorite quotes! And is one of my best sellers at art shows. I was/still am a bit of a wanderer. I remember family members not really understanding my need to wander. At first it was my desire to see new places, then to see wildlife, then to have those adventures of a lifetime… now it is all of that and more! It didn’t mean I had no idea where I was heading or no idea what I wanted to do, I just knew there were some things I had to do first. I call it wanderlust and it took me all over – to Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Marquesas Islands, Alaska, crewing a 36’ sailboat across the Pacific Ocean, and many more unbelievable places and adventures along the way. YOUR Mountain Sterling Silver Cuff

Climb every mountain or tackle every mountain. This represents YOUR mountain. Whether it be literal or figurative. It can be Mt. Kilimanjaro or that stack of papers on your desk! It could be that upcoming race or a difficult loss you may have suffered. Maybe starting you own business or just tackling that snow packed driveway! Whatever the mountain, this ring will serve as a reminder - not of work to be done, but of the power you have in you to do it all!

The first picture shows my "Your Mountain Copper Moab Cuff" also. This listing is for the sterling silver cuff only. This sterling silver bracelet is 8 mm wide and 2 mm thick, so it a substantial and heavy piece. The mountain scene is hand cut from sterling silver and slightly reticulated to give that ‘snowy’ feel on the mountains. Reticulation produces a ridged or ripply surface through a series of controlled heating. It often resembles a moonscape or a relief map of the Sierra Nevada! The ridges of the reticulation process will cast shadows and just as a mountain shadow changes with the shifting sun, so do the shadows on a reticulated surface as the wearer moves. The mountains are soldered onto the actual cuff. The entire piece has been oxidized to bring out all the reticulated textures! This bracelet has the words “Strength, Compassion, Patience” hand stamped on the underside. I can stamp up to four or five words for you at no extra charge to help you remind you or your mountain.

This one was a design for my man. I have always liked the way a snug fitting cuff looks on a guy. After many hours of talking with my husband, I finally designed one that he will wear. He is a super athlete and coach – very into triathlons and racing – and is my coach for my upcoming marathon and triathlon season. So I came up with a few words that would inspire him to do his best in his racing and training – and life in general. I then hand stamped the words of inspiration on the inside of a very thick, heavy gauge cuff. He is a pretty simple guy, so there is no design of the front, just a weathered look brought about by a little patina and sanding.

I used the following words: Perseverance, Determination, Character, Finish Strong, No Shortcuts, Modesty, Courage, Never Give Up, Fire Passion, Dig Deep, Desire. I then added ‘I love you’ for a personalized touch.

These words not only mean something to his racing but to his life in general! You can choose 12-15 words or so to be hand stamped on the inside of the cuff. Isn’t that so true! My mom holds our family all together, no matter what! I came across this quote years ago, and have never been able to get it out of my mind. It describes my mom so well. I can remember many times, when I thought I was going to just fall apart and Mom was there to ‘hold’ me together!

For this piece, I hand stamped the quote on a 1” sterling silver round disc, and then made a copper button from recycle copper. I hammered it up a bit and then threaded sterling silver wire through the button holes to give it the button look. The piece is oxidized and hangs from an 18” sterling silver ball chain. The small is about 2 and 1/4 inches in diameter; the medium is 2.5 inches; and the large is 2.75 inches. One way of approximating your bangle size is to make a fist and measure the length from the outside of the pointer finger knuckle to the point between the ring finger and pinky finger knuckle. This measurement equals the required diameter for your bangle. The standard size is 2.5.

Ever walked through a Florida Pine Forest under a full moon? If you haven’t you really should it is truly amazing. Just don’t do it in the summer – too many mosquitoes!

These remind me of my days in the pines tracking red cockaded woodpeckers in a state forest in Florida while in college.

The earrings are approximately 1 inch in length and have been hand stamped with various tools to form the pine trees and the moon. Then they were oxidized to bring out the patterns.

I had left over silver from my sterling silver Secret bracelet one day and decided to make a piece for my sister-in-law. They have two kids, so it turned out to be a perfect fit! This is a perfect gift for a Mother!

I stamped her and my brother-in-law’s name on one side of the four sided bar. The opposite side has their last name. The other two sides have the names of their children. I can stamp any word you would like on the bar which is about 1 ¼ inch long. This length allows about 15 characters per side (four sides). This includes spaces.

It is not limited to just family names, I can put names with date – like a wedding date on one side of the bar and the couples names on the other. This is the fourth in my series of I (blank) Period. The first piece – I Run (Period) was designed after a long snowy run out Old Mission Peninsula here in Traverse City Michigan. This ‘I Hike.’ was an idea from a customer in Florida. She loved the I Run., but suggested I make an ‘I Hike’. So…here it is. I designed this piece from thoughts of a hiking trip I took a few years back in Colorado.

Lightning at Midnight Ring

I was drawn to this stone the minute I found it. It reminded me of a lightning storm on a dark summer night. The stone, a Picasso Jasper, has streaks of dark black shooting across and a cream lightning bolt streak coming out from one corner. I hand set it in a fancy bezel to bring out the different shades of black.

The stone is so amazing! It is a bit large, but that is how we are wearing them today! It measures 1 ¼” by ¾” and the ring is a size 8 ½ . I oxidized the ring to give it that antique look.

This is a one-of-a-kind ring and can not be made a different size.

My sister, Randi, was given this quote a while back from a good friend. She and I have always given inspiration quotes and gifts ever since I can remember! If you grew up on a farm or have ever been to a cattle farm you know what I am talking about. Cattle grates are these huge steel bars that go across the road to help contain the cattle. People use them instead of a gate sometimes. Anyway, I don't mind them much except when I am at my sister's house and trying to go for a run. While heading out for a run I had to hop over one, and I thought of this design. I was trying to find the easiest way across several of the grates, while still keeping a good pace...it was a challenge!

The copper twists represent the steel bars and the brass wrapping represents a path across. The copper has been hammered to add texture. I love the way brass and copper look together when they have been oxidized!

This is another must for any southern girl! My sisters and I all had a bracelet, ring, earrings, and a necklace before we could even walk! I have taken my custom secret quote bracelet and made it to fit babies to toddlers. My neice Whitney wanted a bracelet just like her mom's so, I made here a copper one and she asked where was the shiny one too? Her mom has my sterling silver and copper set of Secret Quote bracelets. A good way to find the correct size for your baby or toddler is measure the length from the pointer knucle to inbetween the ring finger and pinky finger knuckle when the hand is in a fist. This would be the diameter of the bracelet.

Something about Lily Pads that make me smile. When I was young, I would dream about being able to perch myself on top of one in a big ole pond and just hang out! With the frogs and the fish!

My husband and I have the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful places in the US – Traverse City, Michigan! This pendant is a spectacular reminder of a recent sunset over the bay. If you have ever visited the Great Lakes, then you may have seen something like this!

I hand cut a sterling silver rectangular pendant and then stamped the trees, water and land with various tools. I then oxidized the piece once to bring out the details, then once more to get the colors of the sunset. Since this is completely hand stamped and the oxidation process is different each time, your piece may have slight variations.

I LOVE dandelions – well, kind of. I remember as a child picking and blowing them, hoping my wishes would come true. Some did, some didn’t. But the fact was I believed my wishes had a chance! I have always been fascinated by huge oak trees. We have so many where I grew up, it isn't hard to locate one to take a nap under on a cool fall day. Trees are also the symbol to remind people to "Grow Strong"!

This was a request from my sister, Randi. I made bangle bracelets for her last year for her birthday, but this year she wanted one with her favorite quote.

I hand stamped her favorite quote to the side of a square sterling silver wire. This quote is now one of my favorites too! One way of approximating your bangle size is to make a fist and measure the length from the outside of the pointer finger knuckle to the point between the ring finger and pinky finger knuckle. This measurement equals the required diameter for your bangle. The standard size is 2.5.

Waves of Copper Bracelet

This was inspired by my copper cattle grate ring! I love the way copper and brass look together. This piece reminds me of waves on an ocean.

Loops of copper have been wrapped with brass to keep them from pulling apart and then formed into a bracelet. I hammered the copper to give it a bit more texture and then the entire bracelet was oxidized to make it look weathered!

This piece can be fitted to your wrist. It has custom made clasp to take it on and off with, so it can fit as tight or as lose as you like. You will just need to measure your wrist with a string and let me know the lenth of bracelet you would like. Dream Moon Necklace

The moon has always fascinated me. To think that we always only see one side of it (and never really the entire side) is amazing. And looking at it through a telescope or binoculars is pretty COOL. I Swim (Period) Necklace

I swim…therefore I am Wet! I really don’t know why I swim – it is always cold in the pool, especially when I am doing my drills and there is always something scary to me in the open water. I have been told that there is NOTHING in the water here in Michigan that will hurt you, but I still see things…scary things… that LOOK like that could be harmful. I gotta get over it! At least I am not training in Florida with the sharks and alligators – that would be scary for me. Although I grew up with them and it never once was bothered! That is what old age does to you. I know it is one of the best ways to get in total body shape while doing the least damage to your body as far as impact goes. At least that is what my husband says.

Anyway, this piece is for all you swimmers out there, and I know there are a lot of you. My husband saw me as I was drawing this piece and thought it looked a little plain, so he suggested I add the goggles. I you aren’t into the goggles, I don’t have to put them on, but I do think it is kind-of unique!

The pendant is made from PMC (pure silver) and hangs from an 18” sterling silver ball chain. I hand drew the swimmer and the “I Swim.” is hand written on the back. I designed these as a present for my family for being a part of my wedding. Trees represent strength and growth and the pearl, unlike all gems, is organic matter derived from a living creature - oysters and mollusks. Pearls symbolize innocence and a pure heart, and help us get in touch with the simple, honest things in life. Pearls have been called the 'teardrops of the moon'.

I created a piece that represented the location of my wedding. My husband and I were married outside among the trees, and there was a beautiful moon (the pearl) to end the night!

I tailored this to speak to my sister! I thought and thought of words and phrases that would inspire her to - well, just BE! She inspires me with so many things, I thought this might help give her a boost. I came up with six words of wisdom - or what I call words of inspiration. Then I tried to think of a phrase to put them with. This is what I came up with:

I love the dog tags that people are wearing and this is my version of with the peace sign. I hand cut the peace symbol out of sterling silver that I formed into the shape of a dog tag. I then hammered it up a bit and oxidized the entire piece. I attached and soldered a sterling jumpring in the corner of the dog tag so that it hangs tilted.

The dog tag measure 1" long and 3/4" wide. It is on an 18" sterling silver ball chain, but I can do any size chain, just convo me. Jump rings are soldered for security.

My sister, Randi, was given this quote a while back from a good friend. She and I have always given inspiration quotes and gifts ever since I can remember! It started with the store “Successaries” that we have in our local mall. Some of my favorite pieces of jewelry to make are pieces that inspire you in some form or fashion! Randi sent this particular quote to me recently when I was going through a tough time.

I decided to make a pendant out of it, like the other quote pendants that I have. There are two different versions that I have made.

One has a copper cover that is embellished with lines and little holes to resemble rain. Underneath the cover is a sterling silver tablet with the quote hand stamped on it. It hangs from a sterling silver 18 inch ball chain. The entire piece has been oxidized to bring out the words and designs. The piece measures about 1 1/4 inches.

Lily Pad Bracelet

Something about Lily Pads that make me smile. When I was young, I would dream about being able to perch myself on top of one in a big ole pond and just hang out! With the frogs and the fish!

This bracelet matches the Lily Pad Earrings that I created for a Mother’s Day present for my mom and mother-in-law. In the bracelet, there are hammered oval discs and hammered round discs that each have a gold filled wire wrapped jade kind-of ‘perched’ on them. The round discs are approximately 15mm and the oval discs are approximately 18mm, each are domed just a bit.

It is a striking contrast with the silver oxidized to bring out the texture! They will make you feel as if you hanging with the fishes and the frogs!

The fine silver clay (PMC) was made from hand formed molds of daisies. The clay was then baked in a kiln to burn away all the organic material and leave behind the fine silver. The large daisies are about 3/4 inch in size and the small daisies are about 1/2 inch in size. The bracelet itself measures 7 ½” long. It has a hand formed toggle clasp to secure it. It has been oxidized to bring out all the textures and details.

Live, Laugh, Love Spinner Ring

This ring was designed for my sister for her birthday. It is really made out of six different rings! I hand sawed a sterling silver wide band, and then made five more rings - three in sterling silver and two in brass. They were all soldered and put together to form this unusual piece. One sterling silver and the two hammered brass rings float (spin) around the wide sterling silver band. The middle silver ring has the words “Live Love Laugh” hand stamped on it. The entire ring was then oxidized to bring out the texture and the words.

While hiking one night on a peninsula in Florida (St. Joseph Island State Park), a friend and I came across a mother sea turtle laying her eggs. It was one of the most amazing things that I think I have ever seen. She was so magnificent! Turtles have long been a favorite of mine, so I wanted make one for a necklace.

Take a float anytime! I love kayaking the lakes and rivers of Northern Michigan and the rivers and springs of North Central Florida where I grew up. I had to make something to remind me of all those unbelievable times spent on the water! If you or someone you love is into kayaking, this is the perfect necklace to have around! It is totally hand formed (NO MOLD) by me from PMC (Precious Metal Clay - fine silver), kiln fired and then oxidized to bring out the features.

I put the kayak, that is 1 ¼ inches long, on a black leather cord that really brings out the kayak’s features. It has a slide tie, meaning you can slip it over your head, and then adjust the length accordingly (the longest 22 inches). Love Tree Slate Necklace

This is for all you lovers out there.

I have taken a sterling silver rectangle and hand sawn a tree shape out of it. I then hand stamped the word “LOVE” flowing down the tree. I then hammered around the edges to give it a look with rough edges. It reminds me of a stone slate with something carved in it. I attached two beads of rose quartz, the stone of universal LOVE! It is said to be the stone of warmth and love because it helps to heal emotional wounds and pain, as well as open the heart to the beauty within and all around us! It helps to attract positive, non-judgmental love into our lives. Which we all need!

The rectangle is about one inch long and ½ and almost ¾ inch wide. It hangs from a sterling silver chain that is 16 inches long. If you desire a longer chain, just convo me!

These earrings remind me of one of those highway signs helping you to find your way. Hope, peace, and love…that is where I want to go!

These are made from three copper squares that have been hand stamped with the words “Hope”,
”Peace”, and “Love”. Each one is separated by a sterling silver square bead and hung from sterling silver handmade ear wires. The copper squares do spin around, so the words are stamped on both sides.

This is actually two rings in one! These are one of my most popular requests from family and friends. They love these! They are dainty, yet have a little extra spice! I have taken a silver ring that has been hammered and formed and paired and twisted it with a brass ring that has been hammered and formed. The two fit perfect together – or you can wear them separate – what ever your mood strikes you to do! All you do is untwist them, and then twist them back. They measure a little over a ½ in width when they are together.

Something about Lily Pads make me smile. When I was young, I would dream about being able to perch myself on top of one in a big ole pond and just hang out! With the frogs and the fish!

This bracelet resembles the Green Lily Pad Bracelet and Earrings. In the bracelet, there are hammered oval discs and hammered round discs that each have a gold filled wire wrapped carnelian that is kind-of ‘perched’ on them. The round discs are domed just a bit.

It is a striking contrast with the silver oxidized to bring out the texture! They will make you feel as if you hanging with the fishes and the frogs! It measures about 7 ¼”. If you need it bigger, just convo me and we can work it out!

As will all my pieces, all jump rings are solders for security!
