What is a martingale collar? A martingale collar is made in two parts and one part tightens when you pull on the leash. The collar is made so the dog can not slip the collar off over it's head when on a leash. Instead of trying to explain I have added two photos showing a leash being pulled in one and how it looks normally in the other. Dog tags should not be attached to the d-ring but to one of the side slides.

I love this fabric! The fabric name is "Angels Among Us" in a teal green background with red flowers (angels) and the lining is gold smooth satin. Solid brass hardware with welded d-ring.

Knotted Two Color Tag Collar Instructions

Eight pages of instructions and sixteen photos to make a two color knotted tag collar. These collars are intended to be used as a tag collar for greyhounds or other sight hounds, but could be used on any dog. I use this collar on my greyhounds for tags and use a larger martingale collar or harness for walking them. This smaller, 3/4" high collar is more comfortable while they are laying around imitating throw rugs.
These collars are not adjustable. Get started now on those little Christmas gifts for friends. Start to finish is only about 30 - 45 minutes. They are made with parachute cord and I will be offering kits of the cord and clasps in the next few days.

There is no shipping charge as the e-book will be emailed to you and will open in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Instructions are for up to an 17" long collar, but by increasing the length of cord could be made larger. If you have any questions feel free to convo me.

Cute and whimsical collar made with quality cotton outer and cotton lining. 1 1/2" high and will fit necks between 15 to 20 inches. The background color is darker than it looks on the photos and reminds me of a dark honey mustard in color with black lining. Hardware is nickel with welded d-rings. All my collars are sewn on an industrial machine with triple seams for strength and safety. Colors may be lighter or darker depending on your monitor calibration.

Fabric collars are intended for dress up and will wear well. I've started using cotton lining as that will last much longer than the satin lining. These collars may be hand washed in warm water and air dried.
