Guy's Chainmaille Pendant Necklace

I made up this pendant while I was watching Ironman.

Spikey pendant is made with 16-gauge colored copper wire in silver and black and hanging on an upcycled thick black necklace cord (probably vinyl) with a lobster clasp and adjustable length chain.

The cord is about 17 inches long and the clasp chain is 3 inches long. The pendant is 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide.

Knott Maille Pendant Guy's Necklace

I finally started making some "guy stuff"; here's my first guy's necklace!

The pendant is a modified "furby flower", looks like a square knot of chainmaille turned into a rounded four-point star; made with black and silver colored copper, heavy 16-gauge wire. The "chain" is a black rubber cord with silver-colored half-open tube beads and striped barrel beads. The chain is upcycled and in excellent condition and I believe the beads are stainless steel. It's 17 inches long, plus 3 inches of chain for the lobster clasp to make the length adjustable. The pendant is 1.25 inches square.

This E6 chainmaille bracelet is perfect for the fall. It is made with uncolored copper rings on the outside and slightly darker colored copper down the center. Gold-color jump rings reinforce the ends on the underside. Closes at adjustable lengths with a gold-colored lobster-claw clasp.

Chainmaille is 6.5 inches long with an added 1.25 inch length of gold color aluminum chain and a golden base metal lobster claw clasp; 8.5 inches altogether. Should fit wrist sizes between 7 and 8 inches fairly snugly, or a smaller wrist more loosely. Can be adjusted on request.

Unique one-of-a-kind unique handflower of European 6-in-1 weave in black with a fire design. Wristband is One Hour Less Sleep weave of blue and orange in front and copper and purple around the sides. This handflower has a yellow cable-chain ring for your middle finger, and a scroll-design toggle clasp on the wristband.

I made the links for the chainmaille by coiling and cutting 20g. colored copper wire, then wove the chainmaille. The ring chain and toggle clasp are from a craft store. It took me about 14 hours to make this handflower.

There is some antiquing in the scroll design of the toggle clasp. It's only decoration, not actual antique/vintage.

The handflower is 4 inches from wrist to knuckle, and 2.5 inches wide in the middle. The wristband is 7 inches long, the ring is 4 inches around.

Chained Amethyst Handflower

Purple and silver are my favorite colors so I used silver chains and round amethyst beads with silver wire clover beads in this handflower. So pretty!

The four amethyst beads attached to the clover bead in the center are a little darker than the five around the outside.

The wrist chain is adjustable to 8 inches with a lobster clasp; the handflower stretches over your hand to four inches from your wrist to your knuckle, and will lay over the back of your hand 3.5 inches wide. The ring for the middle finger is 4 inches around.

To wear this handflower, put your middle finger through the chain ring, lay the handflower over the back of your hand, and latch the clasp onto the wrist chain around your wrist at whatever spot fits you best.

This handflower is made in E6 chainmaille with purple-colored copper wire rings in the shape of a cross centered inside silver-colored copper wire rings. The wristband is the One Hour Less Sleep chainmaille in blue and purple copper rings, with a lobster clasp attached with 16-gauge rings. The wire is 20-gauge so it's fairly light. The wristband is about 7 inches long, the handcover with the cross is 4.5 inches long from wrist to knuckle, 2.5 inches wide in the middle; the chain ring is 4.5 inches. I can adjust the ring or wrist size on request, and I can take requests for the same handflower in different colors for the same price.

Chained Hematite Handflower

For this handflower I arranged large and small dark gray chains and added some hematite beads. The large chain is all linked together in the intersecting spots, making it one piece, with the smaller chain woven through it, and held in a pattern with the hematite beads. It took me about 7 and a half hours to make this.

I made the wrist adjustable up to 8 inches with two lobster clasps and extra chain links hanging on the outside, and added a chain to go across the palm to hold it to your hand. The handflower is 4 inches wide in the middle and 3 inches from wrist to knuckle. The ring is 3.5 inches and the palm chain is 6 inches long with a lobster clasp to adjust the position.

I can remove the palm chain but in my opinion in helps with the fit and doesn't get in the way.

I am very happy with the way these turned out.

Round chandelier earrings with triangular sheets of small-ring European 4-1 chainmaille in a style very similar to my handflowers, black with a stripe of purple in the middle. The round loops each have a tiny silver cross hanging by a small purple ring in the center.

Chained Tiger's Eye Watch

Watch with a bracelet-like band made with silver-color cable chain and round tiger's eye beads.

Two pieces of chain go around the wrist from each side of the watch face, with two bridges of chain across the middle of each band. Round 6mm tiger's eye beads connect on bead pins between the bridges. Chain links are used as spacers on the jump rings at the ends of the bands. A lobster clasp and 2 inches of 5mm curb chain make the watch adjustable between 6 and 8 inches, to fit a wrist size between 5+1/2 and 8 inches.

Chain bridges are connected to the side chains with their own links rather than extra jump rings to make the bands seamless.

The watch face is especially good for small wrists. It's a 22x24mm oval (about 7/8 x 3/4in), simple style, silver color. Quartz; Japan movement; stainless steel back; dial, case, and assembly made in China. Battery included. Clear sticker and plastic stopper protect the back and the battery life until removed by the buyer.

Silver Chain Handflower

This is the type of handflower similar to what I wear regularly and get compliments about all the time.

This handflower is made with thick silver-colored cable chain, with a lighter sterling-colored cable chain woven through it, making the ring. I opened links of the thicker chain to attach different pieces to each other, rather than using separate jump rings, so it's basically all one piece. I did use three jump rings to secure the ring at the end. It took me about three hours to make this.

Measurements:
About 5 inches across the width of the hand, ring is about 4 inches around the middle finger/knuckle.

Fits a 6 inch wrist, can be adjusted before sale; just convo me about it before ordering. Can go down to 5 in. or up to 8 inches or more, but hand width size will stay the same.

Simply Spiral Chain Necklace

This was just a plain 1-in-2 chain until I got to it. Now it's cool.

I upcycled a regular long chain of notched oval-shaped rings by separating the links and putting them back together in a spiral chainmaille necklace.

According to a jeweler who works at Jared, the metal is cobalt steel. I added a lobster clasp and a silver-colored copper ring of 16 gauge copper wire to the ends.

This chain is 22 inches long.

Guy's Heavy Leather 'n' Maille Slave Bracelet

Inspired by things I've seen worn by guys in bands and at A-Kon. Slave bracelets don't have to be just for girls!

Made with black leather lace and 16 gauge black and silver colored copper chainmaille in the European 4-1 weave. Silver maille inside a leather frame goes across the wrist, then black maille with a silver diamond-shape design covers the hand, attached to the leather frame with jump rings criss-crossed to simulate stitches. Chains latch around the wrist at adjustable lengths with a lobster clasp. The ring is part of the leather frame.

Maille 'n leather is 4 inches across the wrist, 4.5 inches up across the hand, 3.5 inches wide. Wrist size including the clasp chain is adjustable between 7 and 10 inches.

The bracelet weighs 2.92 ounces.
The leather is securely sewn/tied together with wax-coated black thread.
