Alexander Girard Patterned Cushion Cover - Grey Retrospective

This listing is for a handmade cushion cover only. It's made to fit a 16" x 16" (40cm x 40cm) cushion insert.
It is 100% cotton made with cream piping and a simple envelope style back in a complementary color. Seams are double stiched for added strength.
The color is a dark greige with cream pattern.
Recommended care: handwash, lay flat to dry.
Please note that your cushion will have a slightly different pattern placement than the one shown above.

Alexander Girard was one of the greatest colorists, pattern makers, environmental and exhibition designers of the 20th century.
Hired by Herman Miller in 1952, Girard led the company's textile division where he brought color and life to the modern furniture creations of George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames. Using folk art as his inspiration, Girard created whimsical and sophisticated designs.

While this is in no way an official product from Alexander Girard, it is made with fabric featuring his "Retrospective" pattern issued by Urban Outfitters that I have chosen to turn into throw pillows. Enjoy!

The leaves each measure 6" by 3" and you will recieve an 18" by 18" square.
Please note: the pattern placement of your specific piece may vary slightly from the picture but each 18" square will have all the different colors on it.

Perfect for throw pillows, quilting, toys, anything really.

This listing is for a made to order, totally custom mobile made with six different characters. I can make one just like the mobile pictured or with your own color scheme and character choice in mind. In the past I have made mobiles that include fish, owls, octopus, whales, zebras, giraffes, alligators, turtles, elephants, birds, rhinos, hippos, just to name a few.
The cost for this listing is higher than my other mobiles because of the extra time it takes to design and cut out six different animals.
Hand cut and hand sewn, these animals hang from a hand made wire mobile and are made from eco-felt.
Bright and cheery, they're sure to catch your baby's attention. (My daughter and nephew can't keep their eyes off of them!)
This mobile comes preassembled with 10ft of fishing line for hanging. You will have to supply the hook for your ceiling however.

This mobile is NOT a toy and should be hung out of baby's reach. This may include adjusting the height as baby learns to stand.

Approximate measurements are:
height=24"(top of hanging wire to bottom of lowest ornament)
width=14"
Please Note: Although I do my best to ship these mobiles safely, some of the wire may be bent in the process and need to be reshaped upon arrival.

Made in Japan, this piece is in good shape with a small hairline fracture running down the back of it. It was made with a hole in the back so that you can hang it on the wall.

Great illustrations from the sixties (I'm guessing) include a dog, balloons, boy, girl, clown and booth. Can be arranged however you wish, each piece is hung seperately. On the back of the balloons, there is a way to attach some string or yarn to join them to the pup's paw. Fun!
Pieces are made of thick fibreboard that is in remarkably good shape.
