The original black and white pen drawing has been scanned and digitally colored. Thus every color element in this drawing can be changed, so if you have certain colors in mind just let me know. The pictures display a few examples.

This print is exactly 5" x 5" including the border (which can be removed if you prefer).

The print is produced with archival inks on archival epson ultra premium matte paper (the combined colorfastness rating is over 100 years if displayed under glass).

The print will be signed and dated (back or front, your choice), then shipped in a protected mailer promptly. I make my own bend-proof packaging by reusing materials whenever possible to be more eco-friendly, but if you prefer I use more traditional packaging, just let me know.

Blue's First Catnip Experience. LE ACEO no.3 (magnet vers. avail.)

The first time Blue was given catnip he could scarcely believe what he was seeing: streaks and swirls of color blossomed everywhere, and he just hung on for the ride.

This ACEO was made using pen and inkwash techniques to create the background and then cutting out and placing the separately hand-drawn Blue amid the scene. It was created in the ACEO size (2.5x3.5) so the reproduction is exact.

The print is produced from a high-resolution scan with archival inks on archival epson ultra premium matte paper (the combined colorfastness rating is over 100 years if displayed under glass).

The prints are running in a limited edition, only 25 will be made. The signature visible on the front is part of the print; it will also be hand-signed, numbered, and dated on the back, then shipped in a stiff protective sleeve that can also be used to keep it safe on display until you have the chance to frame it.

The print is made with archival ink on Epson Ultra Premium Matte paper and will be signed on the back; if you'd like it signed on the front as well please specify that in the "notes to seller".
This 5x7 print is sent with an extra wide border to allow you to choose between framing this in a 5x7 frame or a larger frame with 5x7 matting. Once framed, the border will not appear as thick. If you'd prefer I leave the border off, please let me know.

This cat is a protector and memory-keeper of kitties past and present. Each of the seven kitties within are based on the personalities of real cats, including a fluffy white cat, three different black cats, a tortoiseshell and a tabby. This piece was made as a custom portrait for a customer who wanted a special way to commemorate her cats, present and past, but it has been requested by other customers often enough that I'm now offering it as a print and ACEO in my shop. This cat finds yarn suspiciously irresistible. He's considering whether or not to join Yarn-Lovers Anonymous.

The cat was hand-drawn, then scanned in at high resolution and digitally colored in photoshop.

Each set comes with 5 cards, each of which is approximately 3.75"x5.75" (they are hand cut, so slight variances in size may occur). The cards are printed on acid-free cardstock paper and can be sent as postcards or in envelopes--or put on display. I will sign them if you'd like.

Combine your favorite cat drawing, colors, and background to receive your own custom PurrPrints pendant. Each pendant will be carefully hand-cut, glued and glazed onto a bamboo pendant, then sent to you, ready to be strung on the cord or chain of your choice via the pre-drilled holes.

If you would like the piece to be hand colored (with colored pencils--like "candy corn" and "red cat, for example) you can request that as well at no extra charge. All hand-colored pieces will arrive with a signed Certificate of Originality.

Your pendant can also be attached to a silver bail or pre-strung on a black satin cord with button knot/overhand loop closure for an additional dollar each.

This cat is a protector and memory-keeper of kitties past and present. Each of the seven kitties within are based on the personalities of real cats, including a fluffy white cat, three different black cats, a tortoiseshell and a tabby. This piece was made as a custom portrait for a customer who wanted a special way to commemorate her cats, present and past, but it has been requested by other customers often enough that I'm now offering it as a print and ACEO in my shop.

Production:
The original drawing is 11 inches tall and was created entirely by hand using pointillist/stippling techniques (each dot in the image was placed individually). The ACEO (ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals) has been made by carefully shrinking a high-resolution scan of the original; all the original details are preserved perfectly.

The print is produced with archival inks on archival epson ultra premium matte paper (the combined colorfastness rating is over 100 years if displayed under glass).

Edition & Shipping:

This cat likes to sit by the window and watch the trees. During his cat naps, he dreams of wild jungle screeches and tempting curved branches. Unlike his black and white cousin, this indoor cat dreams in color.

This ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) was created with a mix of hand-drawn and digital techniques and contains a variety of rich colors and textures. Combining hand-drawn and digital work, this piece took around 23 hours to complete. To see the hand drawn pointillist cat that inspired this ACEO, please look in the "originals" section of the shop.

I've always been struck by the image in <i>Waiting for Godot</i> of the mostly bare tree in an otherwise bleak landscape, sprouting just a few leaves. This piece, inspired by that play, features a hand-drawn pointillist cat in a digitally drawn landscape. The tree has a patchwork of paper patterns and two small green leaves.

The image is 5x5 inches, I can leave a white border along one side to make matting easier if you plan to mat it before framing.

Sam stumbled into this mythical forest ages ago and decided not to come out--but he is happy to be in your home as long as he can stay amongst his special trees.

This LE ACEO (ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals; LE for Limited Edition) was made using purple india ink in an inkwash to create the background and then cutting out and placing the separately hand-drawn Sam amid the "trees." It was created in the ACEO size (2.5x3.5) so the reproduction is exact.

Max has always been a bit inclined to mood swings. One moment he's playfully pouncing on a ball, the next he's giving you a "I'm far too regal for the likes of you" look, and a few minutes later he's snoozing away without a care in the world.

This magnet set comes with four pieces that have been hand-cut from an original PurrPrints drawing for you to reposition depending on Max's mood (or yours). Each piece has been sealed with a protective spray for greater durability (but it's still a good idea not to grab these if your hands are soaking wet or, say, covered in blueberry juice). You can layer or separate Max to your heat's content.
