Over forty Russian tribesmen bravely gave their lives to science this day - a terrible tragedy as they will surely be expensive to replace.

Also lost was an entire crate of ether, carelessly dropped from the edge of a berg in the midst of today's activities - a tragedy on so many levels.

Nevertheless, we saw many wondrous and splendid things this day: creatures and landscapes from the aether danced and swam about us through the air, and we saw the laws of our world temporarily suspended by those of the aether world.

It leaves me to wonder: How closely does the placement of their world correspond with ours? Are these same creatures to be found elsewhere on our planet, or would we perhaps find other inhabitants should the machine be tested in new locations?

What sorts of variants or unique beasts might we see in other locations such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Indonesia, London or perhaps even New York City?

Needless to say, I am beyond eager to see!"

- Professor Aden M. Kemy, Miskatonic Archivist

This giclee, commemorating the event is available while supplies last, in a limited edition of only 50 full-sized giclees on canvas to ever be made.

For a limited time, this print also comes with a commemorative embroidered patch.

Cats are not included in this offer. You can maybe have the stupid one if you ask really nicely or offer us candy. We do not in any way recommend sewing, ironing, or gluing these patches onto cats - such is only for skilled professionals.

This limited edition giclee on canvas, is printed in archival pigment inks on 200-year archival canvas, coated in a UV-protective and scratch-resistant coating, and shipped *rolled* in an acid-free polybag for archival storage. Stretched and mounted versions of this are available at mykeamend.com, including side-wrapped and gallery-wrapped (an elegant 2+ inch thick mounting for frame-free hanging).

It comes with a watermarked hahnemuhle certificate of authenticity printed on fine art rag paper, with a matching and serial-numbered hologram on both the back of the giclee print and the certificate. All giclees are hand-signed and numbered in paint (see the signature on the image) and also signed, dated, and numbered in archival ink on the back of the mounted print.

The metallic paper makes for an interesting effect, and communicates the gold leafing in the piece quite well.

The original engraving by Myke Amend was 8x10 inches, but due to the extreme amount of detail put into these works, making them larger only tends to better showcase the works, giving them more of a (still highly detailed) wood block print appearance.

Each print is embellished uniquely with silver signature and silver hand-drawn details (such as added stars and the like), and hand-dated in the margin for the day of embellishing.

What they are is different from collection package to collection package and a secret until opening. And within one of them is Etta Diem's own version of a *golden ticket. The lucky individual who draws one of the golden tickets wins a free 8 x 10 print of their choice from our store.

The Kewpie Noir are quite cute and dark and are really, really longing for a home! This is a wonderful and somewhat frivolous bit of novelty merchandise to lighten the mood of the bit of dampening the world seems to be splish splashing through as of late. To see more of the Kewpie Noir, take a moment to stop by Etta Diem's blog and get acquainted: ettadiem.com/spiderwebs

*Each "Golden Ticket" comes with a unique serial number to ensure we all keep it honest with the free things ;)

This print, commemorating the event is available for a limited time, as an archival pigment ink print on heavy metallic stock, coated with a UV-protective and scratch-resistant coating.

Original art --Vogels Reading Machine-- collage on antique papers

$37.00
Art prints created by recycling antique book pages and a little crafty collage work: Original artwork "Professor Vogel's Reading Machine" by Bethalynne Bajema is first printed on a page of old book paper before being collaged atop another book page to give this interesting antique print look.

While we've been renovating parts of my grandfather's house we've come across a number of antique items, among them numerous old books. All of the books still in pretty good condition we're saving and adding to our library of old books. But those books that are severely water damaged in places and beyond hope of fully salvaging, we've been finding creative ways to reuse the pages and illustrations from the books. My grandfather was a Dutch immigrant so many of these old books of his are in his native tongue and cover his love of old mystery and adventure novels. The books we're recycling add nicely to the neo-victorian and steampunk style some of our artwork has.

This particular book we're using for the printing pages is a 19th century Dutch book of collected stories by Conan Doyle, among other mystery and adventure authors. The prints are roughly 9 and a half inches by 13 inches. They're mounted on light board with art papers used to finish the backs. The edges are trimmed with thin silk ribbon. The surface of the prints are sealed with satin finish to protect the prints. The picture samples of the print include a look at the original artwork the print was taken from. Each of these is a one of a kind print as each collage, even if using the same original artwork, is printed using different book pages.
