This dress is just what I say it is: not for the faint of heart! You've got to wear this dress like you were born in it, or at least born to dance in it!

The halter top begins below the bust and wraps behind the neck to give its line a steep plunge. I put a small black pearl button at the bottom for a little punctuation. This is a made to order dress made with bamboo/organic black french terry that is so soft it's difficult to remember your wearing clothes. If you are a shy girl, just let us know and we'll sew up the center line 3" for a more modest cut. The back is quite low and flatters the waistline from behind.

We will make this in most colors and the measurements needed to make this your very own are: bust . rib girth . and desired length from ribcage down.

Caring for this piece is super simple: machine wash delicate cycle and tumble dry on low.

Imagine a nice night out wearing such great cuts and fabrics that you're fooled into believing (and behaving?) like you're wearing pajamas...whoa...let's do dinner first big guy. I suspect you'll have to work extra hard to keep his hands where they should be, since you will be wearing two of the most touchable fabrics on the planet!

The size ranges a bit on this: there is no clasp so it's ideal for many bust sizes. (I don't think it would hang quite the same if your bust is greater than a D, as it is the front pieces will just swing closer together if you're smaller. I'm a D and usually a size M in tops.) This super slimming skirt is hand made from lightweight hemp/tencel. Hand pulled prints adorn the waistband and pocket in fine tone-on-tone silkscreen detailing (only low-impact inks used). I'm pretty fond of these screens since they are the first screens we ever made: my husband built them and then I hand painted the designs!

This skirt sits at the hips and is 25.25" (about 64 cm) long.

Caring for this skirt is super simple: delicate wash on cold, tumble dry low, iron if desired.

This one of a kind coat is made from repurposed upholstery and lined with bamboo/organic cotton velour. The silhouette is inspired by the beetle shell coats of the 40s. Most of the motifs on the upholstery are flora, except for the monkey mischief on the back. Since the dominant colors here are blacks, greens, and browns this coat looks great with blacks and neutrals, but refuses to be boring when you look inside. Three quarter length sleeves show off the avocado velour lining, and that same velour keeps your hands warm in deep pockets. Two frog eyes close the front which is held secure by a magnet. Most of the detail work and the lining are all sewn by hand. This piece is definitely an heirloom.

It would fit a size 6 really well, or a size 8 who is narrower in the shoulders and chest than I am.

This one of a kind coat is inspired by the Romantic movement and Japonisme. I've used a blue Japanese pattern on the back and paired it with gold and cream acanthus on the front with these lapels. The dominant colors here are blues, greens, golds, and creams. The interior is lined with bamboo/cotton velour dyed a rich Havana brown and cobalt blue. The exterior is made entirely of repurposed upholstery. Lapels join in the front twice with frog eyes and there is a hook and eye at the collar. This looks great on a size 6 or 8, and I can't tell you how fantastic bamboo velour feels on bare skin!

Before the invention of the lawn, dandelions were highly regarded for their medicinal properties. Their milk has been used for thousands of years to cure ailments from warts to the plague. They are a gentle diuretic, their leaves have more calcium than spinach, more vitamin C than tomatoes, potassium and Vitamin A. They actually improve soil conditions, gardeners in the past weeded to make room for dandelions.

And they are just good fun!

This outfit consists of two listings: one for the top and one for the skirt. The top is made of bamboo/organic cotton blend with a waffle texture. I've turned the inside out here to show the silkier side. Detailing is done with some repurposed upholstery and buttons. The dominant colors here are cream, browns, blue-greens, and some pale yellow. This shirt is comfortable enough for everyday, but fancy enough for a night out. I like to pair it with this cozy skirt made of hemp corduroy. (please see our listing!)

Size 8/M. Delicate wash (best if you use a net bag so nothing gets snagged), and hand dry. It looks really great if you take the time to iron the piping with a curling iron.

This one of a kind sleeveless dress is handmade from repurposed polyester and lined with hemp-silk. The scoopneck ends high in the back at the top of a long zipper. Neckline and armholes finished with bias tape. The drawstring waist makes for easy adjustments and cinches the a-line skirt for a nice silhouette that's easy to wear.
