Vintage Pink and Black Enamel Earrings

Dating from the late 1970s, these gold tone earrings feature a deco style them with the dramatic black enamel and geometric shape. A lovely wave of the gold tone metal separates the deep black enamel from the pale pink enamel. There is a very nice detail in the pink enamel portion - the enamel is transparent and there is a teardrop pattern in the metal beneath that shows through in a subtle fashion.

The earrings are marked with a logo that appears to say "Skye" on the back with a cloud motif (see photo of earring backs.) I cannot find any information on this company, but I can verify the age of the earrings as they were owned by a family member originally.

The earrings have post backs, and the ear nuts are most likely original to the earrings. The condition is excellent with just a few tiny areas of discoloration on the back only. There is no chipping in the enamel on the front.

These distinctive earrings measure 1.375 inches (35 mm) from the very top to the bottom, and are 1.125 inches (28.5 mm) at their widest.

Vintage Sterling Calla Lily Pin

An interesting artisan pin that dates from the 1960s if not earlier. The pin is clearly handcrafted and has a loop on it that I assume is for a chain if so desired. The back is stamped sterling - please refer to the back detail shot. The piece is tarnished - I did not polish it as it is a vintage piece. The pin closure is in good working order.

Oculus Pendant with Gold and Black Beadweaving

This mysterious pendant will be sure to start a conversation!

The centerpiece of the pendant is a very realistic acrylic, brown doll eye. The eye is surrounded by an intricate peyote stitch bezel with beaded eyelashes (please see the detail photographs.) The entire eye area was then surrounded by layers of gold picot stitch edging done in tiny beads of size 11 and smaller.

The back of the pendant is soft, suede leather and a beaded bail. The pendant is strung on a black organza ribbon and waxed cord necklace with a silver tone lobster clasp and 1.75 inch silver tone extender chain. There is one layer of ribbon and 4 cords on the necklace portion.

The pendant can be removed from the necklace if desired and worn on another chain or necklace of your choice.

A lot of care and patience went into the making of this unusual necklace - thank you for looking!

Dimensions:

The pendant is 1.625 inches (41.3 mm) wide by 1.375 inches (34.9 mm) high. The corded necklace is 16 inches (40.6 cm) but could be lengthened to slightly more than 17 inches (43.2 cm) by using the extender.

Vintage Herringbone White Beaded Purse

This lovely formal purse has a striking herringone pattern in bugle and seed beads and would be perfect for either a wedding or formal dance.

It was purchased at either Filene's or Jordan Marsh (which no longer exists) in the late 1970s in Massachusetts and only used a few times. It looks absolutely new - there is no damage or stains to the interior satin lining. The beadwork is all intact and there are no loose beads. The frame is gold tone metal, the the handle is a sturdy length of goldtone chain. It is not an over the shoulder strap as the chain is short - the chain can be used at two lengths - doubled up for a very short strap or let out loose for a slightly longer strap. The lining is shiny white satin. There is a small open pocket inside for storage of smaller items but it is not zippered. The snap closure is in excellent working condition.

There is no maker's mark - the only tag indicates that this purse was manufactured in Hong Kong. I doubt any of the beading on this was done by hand but it is still a lovely piece.

Dimensions are as follows

7.5 inches (190.5m mm) at the widest point
5 inches (127 mm) at the tallest point, exluding the snap on the frame
1 inch (25.4 mm) thick
The chain, when held doubled up will extend 6 inches (152.4 mm) above the top of the gold metal frame.
When used as a single length, the chain will extend 10.25 inches (260.35 mm) above the gold metal frame.
The entire length of the chain is 26 inches (660.4m mm) - the chain cannot be removed as it runs through two loops soldered to the top of the frame.

Comet Necklace in Gold and Bronze

This statement necklace features a gunmetal glass round with a slightly iridescent finish encased in a peyote stitch bezel made with varying shades of matte gold, metallic gold and brown beads. The central pendant is further embellished with two rows of picot stitching, one atop the other which gives added depth and a sculptural feeling to the piece. Both matte gold cubes and shiny gold discs in the ornamental fringe add further interest. The necklace portion is made of sections of modified two drop peyote stitch, with more of the discs and cubes; and also large beads that are actually peyote stitch barrels ornamented and strengthened with rows of peyote stitch in more of the gold and bronze colors. The closure is a vintage button that has been encased in a matte gold peyote bezel with a peyote loop for a secure closure. (Please see the detail shot on the closure.)

The size of the beads range from size 15 rocailles to size 11 delicas to size 6 seed beads along with the cubes and discs. Great care was used in creating this piece - high quality nymo thread was used throughout and the thread was brought through all the connections and closure multiple times for added strength.

Please note that the glass round featured in the pendant is very shiny and is showing a reflection of my light box - there are no lines in the actual glass round - it is an opaque metallic grey glass with a slight rainbow finish to it. Also note that the shot on the model features a mannequin and that this one of a kind necklace has never been worn.

Dimensions - the necklace is a hair over 15 inches (381 mm) in length so that the 2.75 inch (70 mm) pendant does not hang too low. This is a one of a kind piece so I cannot lengthen the necklace, but if you like this type of beadwork and want something longer, please contact me and I will do my best to create something in the dimensions and colors you want.

A dark little flower with blood red accents will add drama to your hand. The center of this delicately woven flower is a clear Swarovski crystal. The beadwoven band is done in peyote stitch with black delica beads and sturdy nymo thread, which was woven through each bead multiple times.

The ring pictured is a size 9, but the ring can be made in other sizes to suit - just convo me.

I would recommend not bathing with this ring on - although nymo thread is a sturdy synthetic multi strand thread specifically made for beadweaving.

Pinwheel Earrings in Red Teal and Gunmetal

Inspired by Bollywood and colorful pinwheels from my childhood, these brick stitch earrings start with a sterling silver soldered ring. Nymo thread wraps around the ring, becoming part of the design instead of a hidden element. The beads gradate from size 15 to size 8, and the picot edging is done in size 15 beads. The french hooks are also sterling silver.

Stag Beetle Brooch - Art to Wear

A piece that is both jewelry and art - a painting of the amazing stag beetle framed by intricately embroidered beads to wear and enjoy.

The painting is done on unbleached cotton in gold and black acrylic paint. The paint is waterproof. The edge of the painting is sealed to prevent the cotton from fraying. The cotton is backed by two layers of felt, and then a layer of soft tan leather to which a pinback is attached. Tiny (size 15 rocaille beads) black and metallic gold beads are embroidered around the edge. The ring of beads is done a stitch called couching, and then the ornamental edge is a picot stitch. The picot edging is accented with sparkling 4 mm clear Swarovski bicones and red bicones.

Since this piece is made of leather and cotton, care should be taken not to get it wet, but as stated above, the painting is done in waterproof paint and will not run should you get caught in a rainshower! All the thread used throughout is sturdy nymo. A white metal pinback is affixed to the back - the beetle will go from left to right when worn.

This unusual brooch measures 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) in diameter.

Vintage Swarovski Pearl Drop Crystal Earrings

From the era of big shoulder pads and bold earrings come these vintage Swarovski pearl drop earrings. These gorgeous clip on earrings feature triangular crystals in a gold tone bezel - the sparkle on these is incredible. Beneath is an ivory simulated pearl drop with a gold tone cap with rhinestone detail.

The condition is superb on these earrings from the 80s - the pads on the clip ons are completely intact and clean. On the backs you can also see the swan logo from Swarovski. (please see detail photo of earring backs.)

Vintage Salvatore Ferragamo Purse Purchased in Italy 1987

Another great vintage find - this purse has been in my family so I can vouch for the date of purchase. It has been used but not abused, so there is some wear on it. There are a few small scratches on the outside and some light wearing of the finish just on the edges. The inside is lined with soft, dark brown leather which does show scratching from use. The leather on the outside of the purse is a lovely, rich medium brown with a very warm tone to it. The leather is very soft and has a lovely snakeskin like texture to it. The hardware is gold tone, and of course has the famous Ferragamo logo on it. (Please note that this purse has no zippered compartments in it.)

This purse also comes with the original flannel storage bag and the care card from the store, which also lists their store locations. The flannel bag does have some stains on it from storage.

This purse was well cared for and would make an excellent addition to a collector of fine leather goods.

Overall dimensions - 9 inches (228.6 mm) x 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) x 6 inches (152.4 mm), with a 48 inch (1219.2) long strap. I am 5 ft 2 inches tall, and when I put the purse strap over my shoulder, the bottom of the purse hits my upper thigh.

Baroque Beetle Brooch No 1

I started with an acrylic underpainting on a circle of black felt. Over this is embroidery done in metallic and cotton threads, as well as glass seed bead embroidery. The piece is also edged with cotton embroidery threads and more glass beads. There is a silver metal tone pin on the back 5/8 inch down from the top and the pinback itself is 1 inch wide. The brooch total is 2.25 inches in diameter, and has a thickness of 3/16 of an inch due to 4 layers of felt in the piece which give it stiffness.

This is the first in a series of baroque beetles that I am creating.

Vintage GoldTone Pin with Green Stone Cabochon

Beautiful gold tone scroll work surrounds a green stone cabochon in a unique vintage find. The pin dates from the 1940s or 1950s. It is an unmarked piece, but I can vouch for the age as it was in the collection of a relative. The stone cabochon is an unusual shade of green with yellow and blue patterns. It appears to be either green marble or serpentine. The gold tone filigree setting is in excellent condition except for some green patina on one side along the edge of the cabochon (please see the photos). The pin closure is in excellent working condition.

Vintage Display Moss Agate Cabochon

Another unusual vintage find - a gorgeous moss agate cab in a cast display frame which looks wonderful on a windowsill with the light going through the cab. Moss agate is a clear stone with green filaments running through it that has the appearance and color of moss.

This piece most likely dates from the 1950s or 1960s - but unfortunately has no makers mark on the back. The frame works in a tripod fashion - there is a leg that swivels out from the back for the ornate, embellished goldtone frame to rest on - a truly unusual piece!

Dimensions:
The cab measures 1.625 inches high (41.3 mm) by 1.25 inches (31.8 mm) wide. The frame is 3.5 inches (88.9 mm) high by 2 inches (50.8 mm) wide.

Olive and Silver Beaded Bead Earrings

Little beads of matte olive green and foil lined clear glass were woven together using peyote stitch and cover wooden core beads to create these earrings. Because the core bead is wood, the earrings are lightweight. Only nymo thread was used in the weaving process - a thread which is widely used by beadweavers. The beaded beads were then put on silver tone headpins and hung from large silvertone kidney wires for a contemporary look.

Dimensions: Diameter of beaded bead is .75 inches (19.05mm). The overall length of the earring from the top of the hook to the bottom of the bead is 2 inches (50.4 mm). The kidney wires themselves measure 1.125 inches (28.6 mm) from top to bottom.

This delightful 1970s square scarf has a gold and red lock and key theme. It was manufactured by the Olga Greco Company, whose logo is clearly visible on the scarf. Blue Bell Earrings with Freshwater Pearls and Silvertone Vintage Findings

These dainty, dangling earrings start at the top with a french hook of sterling silver. The next component down is a link taken from a vintage necklace. I do not believe that this link is sterling but is probably silver plated. Dangling from the vintage metal link are two swarovski crystal bicone beads separated by a silver tinted glass bead. Then there is a czech blue glass flower bead with a cream colored freshwater pearl nestled inside. The crystals and beads are all attached with sterling silver wire.

All the metal in these earrings is sterling excluding the vintage link as mentioned above. These earrings measure 1.875 inches (47.625 mm) from the top of the french hook to the sterling silver ball at the bottom. Excluding the french hook, these earrings measure 1.375 Inches (35 mm).

Multicolor Glass Beads

Four beads in the same style of glass and color. The predominant color is blue, with shades of red, green and yellow with black and white details.

The two squared off tube beads are an inch long and 1/4 inch deep. The cube bead is 1/2 inch all around, and the urn shaped bead is 5/8 inches at its widest point, and 3/8 inch at the narrower ends.

The holes in these beads are generous, and they could be placed on a leather cord or some other thicker stringing material.

There is a lot of oxidation on this piece, but I have opted not to polish it, instead leaving it in its original state. Vintage Jet Black Beaded Walborg Evening Purse

A gorgeous purse for a holiday party or other formal, festive event - this little bag is heavily beaded and in excellent condition. The purse itself is covered in a silky material that is covered in an intricate pattern of twisted strands of black seed beads and black sequins. The handle is made of braided strands of seed beads. The purse itself has an oval profile when turned to the side - it is not a flat envelope style so it actually has more room inside to store your necessities.

Inside the purse, which is also lined in a black satin fabric are two small storage pockets, one of which is zippered. The zipper is in good working order. The closure is a snap style which is also in good working order.

Inside the unzippered pocket is a tag stating that the bag is a "Richere Bag by Walborg - Hong Kong." There are no materials indicated on the tag, so I don't know if the lining is actually silk or a synthetic.

The lining is in excellent condition with no rips or tears.
I am not sure of the actual date of manufacture - it is most likely from the 1960s but could be from the 1950s. Walborg was a manufacturer of quality evening bags in many styles in the mid twentieth century.

Dimensions:

Body of purse is 8 inches (20.32 cm) wide by 4 inches (10.16 cm) tall, and at the thickest point is 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) deep (see side view to get a sense of the oval profile on this purse.)

The handle is 13 inches (33.02 cm) long - this is not an over the shoulder purse.

Due to the size of this purse I cannot put it in a gift box, but it will be shipped in a sturdy box, carefully wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap.

Vintage Multi Strand Jet Necklace with Gold Flower Clasp

This absolutely gorgeous choker style necklace from the 1950s or 1960s has multiple strands of luxurious jet black facted glass beads. The strands converge into wonderfully detailed brass beads caps, and the clasp is a lovely, detailed flower. This is a very elegant piece that would look wonderful with short hair or hair worn up so that the clasp is visible on the back of the neck. The clasp is a sliding style - make sure it clicks when you insert it into the flower otherwise it hasn't locked into place! There are seven separate strands of beads that make up this choker - all the black beads are the same size, but the strand lengths are slightly graduated.

Dimensions:

The choker is 15 inches (38.1 cm) long and the flower is .75 inches (19 mm) in diameter.

Checkerboard Necklace with Ruby Red Teardrops

A more modern twist on my starburst series - the clear Swarovski rivoli crystal is surrounded by a peyote stitch bezel in a black and white checkerboard pattern and edged in blood red teardrop shaped beads. Nymo thread is used throughout in the beadweaving and the pendant is attached to the 18 inch sterling silver chain with a soldered silver jump ring.

The center rivoli is 12 mm, and all the beads are glass - the white and black beads are opaque, and the red teardrops are translucent. The chain has a spring ring closure.

Dimensions:

The sterling chain is 18 inches (45.7 cm) long.
The pendant is 1 inch (25.4 mm) in diameter.

Starburst Earrings with Irridescent Glass Rounds and Gold Beadweaving

The focal point of these unusual earrings are irridescent green czech glass rounds that I purchased from TheRiverdreamers lovely shop. You can see from the photo that shows the back of the earrings that the glass is green, but there is a patina on the front that has purplish overtones, so the color is very hard to describe. There is also a floral motif on the front of these rounds that is slightly raised from the surface. I surrounded the rounds with a peyote stitch bezel in size 11 matte gold delicas and size 15 dark gold rocaille beads. I then added a picot stitch ornamentation around the circumference in the rocaille beads.

There is a sterling silver jump ring (which is soldered shut) sewn to the bezel - that is how the earrings are connected to the sterling silver french hooks. These earrings look substantial but are not overly heavy. All the thread used throughout these earrings is nymo, which is widely used by beadweavers and is very sturdy. The thread is brought repeatedly through each bead when the peyote stitch bezel was created.

Dimensions:

From the top of the hook to the very bottom of the starburst measure 1.625 inches (41.3 mm). The starburst itself is 1.125 inches (28.6 mm) in diameter.

These delicate urn shaped earrings measure 1.5 inches from the top of the hand formed ear hook to the bottom tip of the crystal dangles. The clear dangles are made clear swarovski crystal, and the briolettes are a golden yellow crystal. All the metal is sterling silver including the three silver beads that are woven into the sides of the urn shape. The silver frame is lightly hammered.

Vintage Japanese Promotional Fan

Another unusual vintage find - a japanese fan made of delicately cut wood and a reproduction of painted lotus flowers. This fan is either from the 1970s or early 1980s and was most likely a promotional from a restaurant. It is not hand painted - the image of the lotus flowers is a printed reproduction of a water color painting. It is still a lovely piece - the paper portion of the fan is a lovely pale green color and the blue and purple flowers really stand out on it. Delicate little earrings in blue and yellow depict the blue lotus from Egypt through beadweaving techniques. A 12 mm Swarovski Rivoli makes up the center of each earring, and a bezel is created from size 11 delica beads. After the bezel is complete, tiny little rows of picot stitches were created in two layers of yellow and blue to simulate the stamens and the petals. The french hooks are sterling silver. These earrings coordinate with my blue lotus necklace.

These delicate earrings feature textured discs with golden designs in an antiqued style. I created the beads with sculpey clay and gold paint for a shabby chic look. Some texture was deliberately left on the surface to enhance the antiqued effect, and the surface was buffed to bring out a little bit of shine. Sterling silver loops were embedded in the sculpey forms before baking and hardening, and they are suspended from sterling silver hooks.

Over the last few months I have been exploring fimo and sculpey clays in order to make my own cabochons to incorporate into my beadwoven pieces. Please watch for more jewelry featuring these new beads and cabs that I have created - I hope to have more pieces posted in short order.

This substantial dome shaped pin features an unusual asymmetrical design. Most likely dating from the 1960s, this pin is in excellent condition with no damage to either the stones or prong settings, and the closure is in excellent working condition.

The gold metal finish is textured on both the front and back but there is no manufacturer's mark (please reference the photograph of the back). The rhinestones are of varying sizes and varying shades of blue, and there is a large navy blue glass cabochon in the center.

This delightful vintage brooch features beautiful scrolls around a pale blue cabochon. The pin back goes across the shorter direction of the oval, and there is also a loop at one end of the back so the brooch can be converted to a pendant if you have a chain you wish to hang it on. A cute little pin for a jacket lapel - this vintage brooch features 2 smoky brown topaz colored stones in a stylized rendition of two flowers. The rhinestones a prong set in a filigreed bezel, and the stems are done in an unusual twisted look. The single leaf features very delicate filigree, which I think is the nicest feature of this pin.

This brooch bears no maker's mark, but I would guess it to be from the 1960s or later. The pin is in excellent condition - the closure is in good working order and the prongs holding the rhinestones are solid. On the smaller stone there is a small chip and scratch on the front of the stone so I have reduced the price a bit on this vintage find.

Totally unique and fun - get your sparkle on in these monster sparkly earrings with lovely embellished brass findings. These earrings bear no makers mark, and I don't know the original owner. I am going to guess that they come from the 1970s but I cannot verify their date or place of manufacture.

I thought about performing a little surgery on them, but I did not want to change their vintage status, so they are as I originally got them.

This is a stunning, statement piece. I have done a bit of research to find out more about it, as this piece is unmarked. It appears similar to many Austrian and very similar to one czech piece I found online from the 1950s and 1960s. I think that it is probably more likely to be from the 1960s or 1970s as the condition is excellent, and the pin closure looks more modern. The roses are made from red crystals, and all the prongs are intact, and no stones are missing. The metal is gold tone throughout with some nice, subtle texture detail on the leaves. This is a very three dimensional piece and is on the large side - a brooch for a coat or heavy sweater - it would probably be too heavy for a blouse.

Vintage Choker with Red Teardrops and Pearls

This dramatic vintage necklace is unique and sure to stand out. It dates from at least the 1970's but is prossibly from the 1960's. It bears no manufacturer's mark.

The body of the necklace is an industrial looking, flexible, brass link choker with brushed surface texture. Dangling below are brass links with simulated pearls and blood red glass teardrops with delicately scrolled brass findings.

The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. There is a small amount of discoloration on several of the brass bead caps that hold the red teardrops.

The closure is a simple hook, with an extender chain, so this necklace can be adjusted from the smallest setting at 12 inches (304.8 mm) long to the maximum of 15 inches (381 mm) long. The height of the brass link choker section is .75 inches (19 mm) wide, with the pearl and glass bead dangles hanging another 1.5 inches (38.1m mm) down below.

This is a highly unusual piece - with drama and movement and vivid colors.

Vintage Screwback Earrings in a Southwestern Style

These are quirky little earrings- costume jewelry from the 1950s or 1960s made to look like Native American jewelry. I doubt they are authentic to the southwest as they have no makers mark and no stamp indicating sterling. You can clearly see that the screwback portion is brass, which has gotten a greenish patina over the years, and discolored the silver colored part of the earring on the back. The turquoise stones appear to be simulated. But they are still fun, retro pieces, and I really got a kick out of the screw back mechanisms, which are all in working order.

I found these lampwork glass beads in a parcel of vintage costume jewelry that I purchased for the beads and findings. They were not attached to anything so I don't know what they were a part of originally, but I thought they would make cute little earrings just as they are. Vintage Cream Irish Linen Embroidered Tablecloth

Another great vintage find - this time for the home. This set of four napkins and a tablecloth were purchased in Ireland in the 1980s. They have never been used - the box is still unopened. I have tried to photograph the linen as clearly as possible - there are some reflections from the plastic wrapping that still covers the product.

The linens are in mint condition - having never been opened. The box is a little scuffed and the tape on the back that holds the plastic closed is yellow and brittle with age. (See detail photographs.) The item is authentic - please refer to the photograph of the box edge with the authentication label.

The style is a leafy cutwork pattern on a lovely cream (pale tan) linen. There are four napkins (dimension of the unfolded napkins unknown as that information is not included on the label) and a 35 inch (88.9 cm) square table cloth. I imagine the edge of the cloth has the leafy pattern running along it - I can only guess as I have never seen the product unfolded.

This is a wonderful find for someone who collects linen or enjoys a formal table setting.

They are marked Monet on the back in very small letters at the base of the post, and have a lovely textured finish even on the back. They are in excellent condition, but I can't guarantee that the earnuts are original. The earrings themselves date from either 1984 or 1985.

Lovely, simple fan shaped earrings made by hand in the late 1970s or early 1980s. These sculptural earrings bear the artist's mark DRS on the back as well as a sterling stamp. They are comprised of a hammered fan shaped portion with a curvy earhook soldered onto the main portion. The earrings are tarnished with age - I have opted not to polish them since they are vintage pieces, but if you would like them polished please let me know when purchasing.

Devil Fish Brooch - Art to Wear

A piece that is both jewelry and art - a painting of the mysterious devil fish framed by intricately embroidered beads to wear and enjoy. The devil fish (otherwise known as the angler fish) has always been a favorite in our household. My daughter and I used to watch Iron Chef together, and our favorite episode was the angler fish battle. Of course, school reports were done about this mysterious creature as well!

The painting is done on unbleached cotton in gold and black acrylic paint. The paint is waterproof. The edge of the painting is sealed to prevent the cotton from fraying. The cotton is backed by two layers of felt, and then a layer of soft tan leather to which a pinback is attached. Tiny (size 15 rocaille beads) metallic gold beads are embroidered around the edge. The ring of beads is done a stitch called couching, and then the ornamental edge is a picot stitch. The picot edging is accented at the top, bottom, left and right with sparkling 4 mm clear Swarovski bicones.

Since this piece is made of leather and cotton, care should be taken not to get it wet, but as stated above, the painting is done in waterproof paint and will not run should you get caught in a rainshower! All the thread used throughout is sturdy nymo.

This unusual brooch measures 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) in diameter.

Vintage Slate Marquis Rhinestone Brooch

A truly unusual vintage find, this brooch will catch everyone's attention. The entire brooch is in a marquis shape, and the large onyx colored rhinestones going through the midsection are marquis cut also. The clear rhinestones around all the edges are actually a smoky, slate color - the whole piece has a subtle color scheme despite its very sparkly nature.

The pin is in excellent condition - I would just like to note that there is a loop on one end = I don't know if there was another component that dangled on the inside of the larger marquis shape, but the loop is there. Thankfully it is small and barely noticeable.

I could not find another brooch like this to cross reference. I can't give an exact date other than to say probably later than the 1950s or 1960s. I am guessing it is Austrian due to the quality of the crystal and design, but it is unsigned and could have easily been manufactured in the US.

Dimensions: 2 inches tall (50.8 mm) by 1.5 inches wide (38.1 mm) with .5 inches (12.7 mm) of depth.

Vintage Super Sparkly Goldtone Barette

Wow - this barette is another find straight out of the 80s - super sparkly and quite a statement. The goldtone metal is a very yellow gold color, and the generous helping of crystals that surround the three simulated pearl cabochons make this a great statement piece.

All the crystals are in place - there is just a spot of tarnish around two of the crystals, and a tiny bit on the backside - all of which you can clearly see in the photographs.

I have included a photo of the back so you can see the style of closure.

This barette is 3.25 inches wide (82.5 mm) and 1.125 inches (28.5 mm) high.

These artisan earrings date from the mid 1980s. They were owned by a family member and well cared for. The cute cut out cats are a fun and spooky silhouette that would be great for Halloween. On the french earhooks there is a 925 mark for silver. They are not terribly tarnished but have a few spots on them. If you purchase them and would like to have them polished please let me know. I have opted not to do so as they are a vintage item.

Vintage Lizard Skin Billfold

A great find! This gently used lizard skin billfold is in excellent condition. The lizard skin is still shiny and the interior moire fabric is unmarked and in perfect condition. It dates from 1986 or 1987.

There is no maker's name on this, but it is stamped "Genuine Lizard - made in Argentina" on the inside of the billfold.
The snap closure is in excellent working order.

There are 6 credit card pockets on the inside of the wallet, and one more on the back when the wallet is closed for a total of 7. This is a very slim, fine wallet, with no coin compartment.

The closed measurement is 4.25 inches (107.95 mm) wide x 3.125 inches (79.375 mm) tall and .25 inches (6.35 mm) thick when empty.

Evil Eye Glass Focal Bead

I purchased this bead in the early 80's in a greek import shop in Massachusetts. It has been part of my collection, but I have just never put it to use. Maybe it can find a good home with you! It is intended to ward off bad luck.

The bead is made of blue, brown and white glass, and has a very generous hole. It could be strung on a stout leather cord or any other use you see fit.

It measures almost 1.25 inches long, and at its thickest point is .75 inches. The hole is slightly larger than 1/16 inch in diameter.

Two cute little ceramic beads in bright shades of turquoise blue and magenta. These beads have generous holes in them and would look great on a leather cord.

They are both 1 inch long. The blue bead is 1/2 inch in diameter, while the magenta bead is slightly thicker at 5/8 inch in diameter.
