I love upcycling and my favourite material to use is plastic...I love playing around with old toy parts – heating, bending, distorting – I especially love these twisted little charms that I have created with manipulated LEGO pieces.

It seemed like a natural move from my ever popular LEGO bracelets, to start producing necklaces...

This necklace is made with graphite colour chain and findings, which work really well with the Lime colour LEGO pieces. The necklace is approximately 25” long (at its longest point) and has 3 adjustments so that the necklace can be fixed at either 25”, 23.5”” or 22” long. If you require the necklace to be re-sized for a smaller or larger fit, please drop me an email and I can make a small adjustment so it will fit your specific requirements.

All of the LEGO which I use is recycled – it was second hand, unwanted or unloved. I cannot always get specific colours as particular LEGO colour runs are harder to source than others; this is due to ‘LEGO’s’ original production levels. Some colours are particularly rare and therefore expensive to source, but I do my best to get my paws on whatever colours I can, and rarer/limited edition or discontinued colour groups are reflected in my pricing.

I always ensure that my LEGO products are sent out gift wrapped in a box made from 100% recycled materials - This particular gift box was made from a recycled box that I have customised with thread and sections of old wrapping paper and segments of a ‘Diana’ Annual 1984.

Red/Animal Print Flocked Vinyl Record Flower Brooch

"May, Queen of blossoms and fulfilling flowers, with what music shall we charm the hours?"

This brooch is part of my 'Vinyl is Dead' collection - the project I set myself was to make accessories and home wares out of recycled vinyl records - changing the purpose of the record and giving it a different or greater value.

The shape of the flower's leaves and petals have been sculpted free-hand using a rotary tool, the design is unique and cannot be repeated - so this piece is 100% bespoke - you will never see anyone wearing exactly the same piece.

The petals are flocked in a strong red colour.

The petals have been flocked with using an electrostatic flocking machine; this unusual technique dates back over 3000 years ago when the Chinese invented a prototype of flocking, nowadays it is rarely used in the production of modern jewellery.

The flock is done by applying fine particles to the adhesive coated surface using a high-voltage electric field.

The flowers is securely pinned on to a small brooch pin and finished off with a recycled animal print patterned button.

The brooch is presented in a box made from a recycled record sleeve which has been embroidered in a contracting colour and stuffed with protective tissue paper.

I have manipulated Lego pieces using a heat source to make these twisted little charms for this fabulous bracelet.

I always make sure that these bracelets are sent out gift wrapped in a box made from 100% recycled materials - This particular gift box was made from a 'Diana' 1984 annual.

Why should the kids have all the fun?!

This item is perfect for dinner parties, garden parties, hen/stag nights or even just to glam up your home - the size is perfect to hang above a bed or across a wall as an alternative to a picture.

This bunting features 'Belle de Jour' a name which recalls the 1928 novel Belle de jour by Joseph Kessel and the 1967 film of the same name starring Catherine Deneuve.

In French "Belle de Jour" is an expression translating literally as "beauty of [the] day," as opposed to "femme de nuit" or "belle de nuit," women of the night. "Belle de Jour" is a play on the phrase, possibly a reference to the daylight rendez-vous made by some call girls, including Belle de Jour herself.

This bunting is approximately 1 3/4 meters long and has attached 6 fabulous flags. Each flag is just over 9 inches wide and has an 11 inch drop. There is a 5 inch space in between each flag.

The flags are made from two different kinds of animal print cotton, with a gold/brown lining. Each flag is decorated with a different image of Belle de Jour, including photographs and artistic impressions of the beautiful actress Catherine Deneuve, embroidered on to a red patch. Each flag is embellished with beige trim.

The key rings are just over 3.5" long and 2" wide.
Due to the age of some of the records there may be some fading or age spots, but that does make the item more endearing...x

Lychee Flower Corsage Brooch - Limited Edition

I love Lychees, and I really wanted to recreate my passion for this fruit in my latest project making ‘corsage style’ flower brooches.

I began by hand casting a lychee in plastic resin. The delicate system that I use to create my moulds, mean that it is only possible to cast an extremely small number of pieces before the mould saturates. Therefore the number of resin lychees that I have created for this project is limited to an edition of 14.

I then sewed a corsage/flower style base to secure the lychee onto. Each flower has two layers, and on each layer there are 6 individually crafted petals. The petals are made from reclaimed fabrics and recycled vintage fabrics that have been stitched on to a felt or denim base.

In addition to the extremely limited number of these brooches that I have produced, each individual piece is made from very different fabrics and the lychees are made from different coloured resins, therefore each piece is 100% bespoke and individual.

The brooch is finished off with a pin on the back that has a security fastening.

Due to their bespoke nature, if you were to wear one of these little cuties it is highly unlikely you will see anyone else wearing the same piece!

Cheeky Monkey Face Brooch - Hand Cast Resin/Limited Edition

I was treasure hunting at a flea market in Bournemouth a few years ago and I found an amazing Vintage Monkey ornament which I simply had to take home. I fell in love with his super cute face and cheeky smile so much that I had to try and reproduce it in some of my work...
So I decided to make a mould and re-create his cheeky little face in resin!
Each Monkey face has been hand casted by myself using a resin plastic. The delicate system that I use to create my moulds mean that it is only possible to cast an extremely small number of pieces before the mould saturates. Therefore the number is Monkey face brooches that I have created is limited to an edition of 5.
So if you are wearing one of these little cuties it is highly unlikely you will see anyone wearing anything the same!
Each resin face has been securely attached to a corsage style brooch which has been made from reclaimed felt and neon green and baby pink netting.
The brooch is secured with a security pin on the back.

This super kitsch selection of envelopes have been hand made from a vintage "CHIPS - The highway Patrol" Annual 1984.

Each envelope measures 11cm x 14.5cm. Each envelope has a peel off sticky strip at the back to fasten and an optional address label, to add as you please. There are 10 envelopes in the pack.
