Unchain my amethyst drops

$19.50
I created these earrings to match this set, http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=19278239, an order that I received through a bid in etsy's custom section. The earrings turned out to be too big for the customer, so I made smaller ones for her and kept these.

Genuine freeform faceted amethyst chunks dangle beneath a tangled ball of gunmetal, gold and silver chain. Findings are gunmetal (antiqued silver) finish.

I can make another necklace similar to the one in the sold listing, if you'll convo me. I love custom orders, and I'd love to make one for you!

earrings - 2.5in.
ooooooh, Larimar. Nothing is more beautiful.

$94.50
Larimar is one of my favorites of all the semi-precious stones. The purer forms of Larimar are a deep blue, mottled with lighter blue, reminiscent of the waters of the Caribbean. That's appropriate, since Larimar, a volcanic rock, is only mined in one place in the world, on one dormant volcano, in the Dominican Republic.

For this Larimar set, I wrapped the pendant with sterling silver, and strung it with faceted smoky quartz beads. Silver spacers accent the ice-blue Larimar, and the double strand arrangement makes the whole necklace twice as striking. Over 135ct. of Larimar in this beauty, and, as usual, it comes with matching earrings.

Larimar is a unique gift, because it is a rare stone. If you're buying it for yourself, you're adding a treasure to your collection! If you're giving this set to someone else, they'll treasure the rarity and uniqueness of this amazingly beautiful stone!

2-strand necklace - 18in. (45.7cm)
earrings - 2.25in. (5.7cm)

Sesame jasper and onyx flower statement necklace set

$49.50
I have sesame jasper all over my beading table. I pick it up whenever I see some with nice color. It's my daughter's favorite. She has at least two sets!

These mint chocolate chip-colored beads remind me of when I was a kid and we'd ride our bikes up to the corner ice cream store. We'd bring our 10 lb. poodle in my mom's side bike basket, sitting in a paper bag to protect his tiny legs. He'd eat the ends of the ice cream cones for us. To this day I can't eat the last bite without thinking about him!

These photos were not edited for color, only light balance. THey're really this color! Don't tey look like colorized black and white photos? The black onyx flowers are just perfect accents for the collarbones, and the black seed beads add a richness that is unmistakeable.

As always, matching earrings make this listing a set.

necklace - 19 in. (48.25cm)
earrings - 2 in. The clean lines and symmetry are inspiring! This one would go nice with jeans or with a formal gown, take your pick (maybe both? I always like versatility in jewelry!). Matching earrings bring the sparkle up to your face, and invite compliments.

Necklace chain has an a handmade S-clasp that adjusts the necklace to different lengths. When I found these chandelier crystals, I realized they were acrylic, but I bought them anyway. I don't like using anything plastic in my jewelry, but had to make an exception for these! They were just perfect for my upcoming bridal shoot, and I couldn't be happier with them!

Glass pearls in ivory and gold dust, and gold spacers with faceted czech glass faceted beads add warmth to sparkly faceted chandelier pendant drops. This two-strand necklace has whimsy, style, and plenty class to spare! Freeform wire wrap lassoes these beauties and holds them in their place while pearls and gold dance around with them. Spectacular!!

Two-strand necklace - 18.5 in. (47 cm)
earrings - 2.5 in. Also striking are the carved onyx beads. So intricate, and feminine!

The black-as-night enamel is echoed by black colored wire, chain and handmade ear wires.

Like Twilight? My daughters do. Seems like everyone's excited about it recently. Here's a way to capture some of the flavor of the movie and have a little glamor, too!!

necklace - 16.5 in (41.9 cm)
focal dangles - 3.5 in.
Tuscan sunrise...Pink Lepidolite, copper and Magnesite

$84.50
I've been anticipating this necklace set ever since I first found these beads. Pink lepidolite is so sexy and feminine with these hang-forged, lacy, swirly links. White turquoise (magnesite) is an excellent counterpoint that binds the necklace together and gives a feeling of light and grace.

The overall feeling of this necklace is a rustic, delicate elegance that is both understated and bold. You'll capture admiring glances and wistful stares.

This delicate 17.5" (44.5 cm) necklace has instantly become one of my favorites. The 2.25" (5.7 cm) earrings feature hand-forged swirls and ear wires, and more succulent pink lepidolite.

**********************************************************
I LOVE custom orders!
If you see any design that you would like to tweak and have something custom-made for you, please convo me!
laurastaley.etsy.com
**********************************************************

Renewable resources are a hit at the moment, and this one is a visual treat. Incredibly light, this necklace pumps up the volume of your wardrobe. The 19" (48.25cm) neckline makes a bold statement, and due to the double layer construction, it wears like a 22" (56cm) necklace.

The incredibly light 3" (7.6) earrings continue the woodsy theme, with a large wood oval anchoring a hoop of palm and coconut wood beads. Leverbacks in antique gold are used to prevent these earrings from slipping out due to their weight.

Thanks to Christy Whitehead Photography for the model shot!
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jacksonville-FL/Christy-Whitehead-Photography/252167875477

**********************************************************
Please convo me if you have any questions.
laurastaley.etsy.com
I love custom orders!
**********************************************************

South Carolina Palmetto Pendant and state colors necklace set

$64.50
I just love this pendant. I first bought a pair as earrings, but they were too heavy and constantly fell out. So, I recycled them as pendants. I was waiting to find a silver charm of a moon that would echo the moon an the South Carolina state flag, but I can't seem to find a decent one. I will continue to look, but meanwhile, here's the necklace. Deep navy blue Dumortierite is highlighted by 14kt GF, hematite and sparkly silver spacers for an overall elegant and classy statement.

I'm a South Carolina girl, transplanted to Florida. My heart is still at home in my home state. I'll be creating more with this theme!

The necklace is 17 1/2, and the earring dangles are 1 3/4. These are HOT!

I had a third, but gave it to my mom for Mother's Day. She picked it out of all the necklaces I showed her, and this one is nearly identical.

The Amber Glass focal pendant is a generous 30x40, and has golden striations in a transparent base, adding depth and sophistication. The multi-colored bands of the quartz buttons add flair and interest. The freshwater pearls and 14 kt gold-plated beads offer a dazzling finish. This set will create a stir wherever you go! Necklace is 18 1/2", and earring dangles are 1 3/4". These earrings have tiny donuts filled with sterling silver beads. Pretty!

It's a riot of a statement, meant to be worn with the intention of dazzling everyone in the room.

Black onyx and iridescent crystal beads set off the focal point of the necklace -- a handmade fringe with silver spacers wrapped with black glass beads with faceted hematite drop pendants, and three slver puffy beaded pendants in the center. This piece is designed to turn heads, and you could wear it to the theater, the symphony, or out dancing.

The earrings echo the centerpoint of the focal fringe, with 1 1/4" dangles with the same puffy silver accent beads. I'm listing all five in one listing, but the price is for ONE PAIR. I noticed my page was getting cluttered with multiple earring listings, so this is the result. I have Etsy's interest at heart, so if you'd like more than one pair, I'll create a seperate listing. When you purchase a pair, just indicate which one you want in the notes to seller, and I'll relist the rest. If you want to purchase all 5, I'll give you a quantity discount, and charge $10 for each pair. You save an additional $10. That's a bargain!

1. Waltz of the Flowers -- millifiori and crystal pendants swing and dance on silver chain. Fun and quirky, they'll sparkle and shine!

2. Glass confetti -- millifiori, crystal, czech glass and shell mingle in this celebration of color.

3. Lemon-lime and sunshine -- this tart collection of colors is bright and sunny, and will put a spring in your step.

4. May I have this dance? -- warm yellow glass reminiscent of candlelight bring romance to your wardrobe.

Every woman should have a little glamour to make her feel special! These sets are a great way to own it for yourself.

The warm tones go with just about everything.

Picture jasper is one of my favorite jaspers, reminding me of the desert in New Mexico when I travelled there to sky dive with friends. This 8" (20.3 cm) bracelet will become a favorite that is worn frequently. The 2" (5 cm) earrings have 1.5" (3.8 cm) dangles with jasper, tiger eye and Smoky quartz.
Boys of Summer Lampworked Starfish Necklace Set

$59.50
[...cue "Boys of Summer" by Don Henley...]

As a child of the '80s, there isn't a summer where Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" doesn't echo in my head.

This Lampworked Starfish reminds me of the summer days spent in Myrtle Beach, SC. The cool green contrasts nicely with the gold stardust beads, and the AB czech glass and white foil-lined beads are perfectly offset by the copper goldstone beads and the faceted AB crystal.

My grandfather was a jeweler. When we visited, I used to sit for hours and gaze at the beautiful stones he had shaped and put on display in a coffee table in their living room. Goldstone was always one of my favorites, and I own the first set, in goldstone, that he ever made for my grandmother. It's an engineered stone, with flecks of copper that sparkle like a millions bucks, or like the grains of sand on the beach in the 100+ afternoon heat.

This 17.5" (44.5cm) necklace set, inspired by Myrtle Beach summers and visits to my grandparents, will transport you to the sun, sand and surf, even in the frostiness of winter. If it doesn't, you need a good dose of imagination)or a Corona and wedge of lime)! The earrings are posts, with a daisy cap. They can be easily switched to ear wires, if desired. I'd take them up a notch no charge and make them really sassy by adding an AB lime green czech glass bead pendant or goldstone to the bottom. (see the last photo, either of the pairs of earrings will match the necklace, you get one pair when you purchase this listing)

What struck me was the fresh color combination and shape! I hope you're just as fascinated with it as I was.

Two shades of green aventurine, succulent orange jade, and sparkly goldstone are punctuated by foil-lined glass beads, showcasing the unique and eye-catching heart pendant. When I learn lampworking arts, this will be the kind of pendant I'd like to create! The 2 1/2" (6.35 cm) earrings are a similar design with a swinging pendant of foil-lined glass.

Last photo: my other lampworked heart necklace listing. Check it out!

Your Valentine will feel pampered whenever they wear this set. Even if you buy it for yourself, you'll feel like a million bucks. What a bargain!

This one is s bold statement with swirls of color that demanded to go home and get worked into something. I was walking out the my favorite bead store and had to turn around to look at it. Then I was compelled to bring it home. I hope you're captured by it's charm as well!

The 18.75" (47.6 cm) necklace lassoed the pendant with silver foil-lined "e" beads, and framed it with goldstone, frosty white and sapphire blue foil-lined glass, onyx, blue aventurine, and poppy jasper. It is accented by silver spacers and pinched clear glass beads which are repeated with the goldstone and foil-lined glass beads in the 2 1/2" (6.35 cm) earrings.

See my previous lampworked heart listing with orange, green sapphire and another gorgeous lampworked heart, here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20612251

Fascinating Faceted Amazonite with lemon quartz and gold heishi

I was looking for the perfect pairing, and like Shrimp Scampi with Pinot Grigio, I found it! These hand-faceted lemon quartz look like lemon candy strung between the gold heishi and large amazonite beads. Stellar! Nestled at the back around the clasp are perfect paired light green aventurine to make the neckline super-comfortable and easy to wear. A soothing, cool combination, this set will look beautiful with ivory, white, yellow, or teal. I'm sure you can come up with a gorgeous way to wear it!

The sea foam green amazonite has beautiful variations in color that remind me of the water in Key West, when my husband and I went snorkling on our honeymoon. It's not a stretch to imagine that the lemon quartz is distilled sunlight. Gorgeous.

This breaktaking 19.5" (50 cm) necklace and 2" (5 cm) earring combo will turn heads and invite compliments.

Red Cloisonne and green aventurine bracelet set

BUT WAIT! Not necessarily Christmas! The pink and white flowers in this cloisonne set soften up the color combination and give the whole set a flirty, feminine style that you can wear all year.

From Wikipedia: Cloisonné, an ancient metalworking technique, is a multi-step process used to produce jewelry, vases, and other decorative items. (The resulting objects can also be called cloisonné.) The technique can be used either for enamel, today much the most commonly found, or for gemstone inlays. In either variety a shape making part of the design is surrounded by a thin metal edge, forming a compartment. With enamel liquid enamel is poured to fill the compartment; with gemstones a pre-cut matching piece of inlay is hammered and perhaps glued into it.

My bead store is just brimming with these beauties, and I can't wait to get my hands on some more. They're also going to teach cloisonne work in a future enamel class, and I think I'll have to be there! This 8" (20.3 cm) bracelet set also features green aventurine tucked inside the hollow beads. The 2.25" (5.7 cm) earrings are a perfect match.

Thanks for stopping by!
**********************************************
I love custom orders!
Please convo me if you have an idea or project that needs to be done!
laurastaley.etsy.com
**********************************************

I can't decide if it's tribal-looking, or very Greek. You decide!

The 19 1/2" (50cm) necklace features massive graduated Amazonite rondelles (the largest one is 15mmx20mm!!) with glorious sea foam green color and smooth silky finish. alternated with rough cut carnelian nugget beads in the front, and 22K gold plated heishi for extra dazzle. Carnelian is also nestled in at the back with the clasp.

The 2 1/4" (5.7cm) earrings are smaller Amazonite rondelles and carnelian, accented with a carnelian nugget dangle and tiny gold plated spacers.

This necklace offers eye-popping color and show-stopping style. If you know anyone headed for the red carpet, this is the necklace they should wear!

Also pictured is a 7 3/4" (19.7cm) matching amazonite and carnelian bracelet with similar materials, listed seperately. This bracelet has matching earrings of it's own, but you can convo me if you'd like a different combination of these pieces. Lava rocks are tiny pendants that swing from each segment for visual effect and movement.

A 14" (35.5 cm) extender with matching toggles turns the bracelet into a necklace (see photos). The 2" (5cm)earrings have 1 1/2" dangles of matching Blue coral, howlite and lava rocks. The earrings look heavy, but they are surprisingly light for their size. I'd love to work with you to create something that expresses your sense of style.

Please convo me with your favorite colors, stones, metals, or whatever request you might have. We'll work together until we achieve your desire.

I will send you a picture before I ship it for your approval.

In the photos, you'll find examples of work with different price ranges that can be created for custom order. Every set I make comes with a matching set of earrings.

1.) This is a lampworked trident pendant that is accented with foil-lined glass, silver, faceted AB crystal and goldstone. This one was $65.

2.) This is one of my favorites. THREE pieces of wire-wrapped Genuine Scottish Sea Glass are nestled into a three-strand necklace of Florite, Amethyst, sterling silver, glass, and aventurine. It's a sensational piece which I plan on listing for $125.

3.) This was a necklace set created for my daughter for her 16th birthday. A banquet of color, silver and pearls, this set features Hill Tribe silver butterfly and flowers, and a sterling silver clasp. Freshwater coin pearls, Florite and Black Onyx are vignettes to each side of the large butterfly pendant, and are supported by a four strands of freshwater pearls. I could recreate this necklace, in your colors, for $195.

4.) This necklace was a recent Alchemy order, and sold for $35. I used freshwater pearls, glass, shell, coin pearls, foil-lined glass, and a hand-made anti tarnish brass clasp.

Please convo me if you'd like to discuss a custom creation.

Thank you so much for your consideration!

This Andelusian Chiastolite comes from the Andelusian mountains in Spain. It is the only place it is found and has to be cut very carefully to ensure a complete cross shows. The Cross is formed by carbon inclusions in the stone.

I haven't seen much of this stone at bead shows recently, so when I saw these beautiful beads, I knew I had to have them! The necklace is a succulent combination of sterling silver Bali beads, onyx, silver spacers, and Andelusian Chaistolite. Wavy Onyx beads are an exclamation point. Together these beautiful elements create a stunning and elegant necklace set that can be a silent but eloquent testimony and conversation starter. The earrings are just as unique, with 3" (7.62 cm) dangle featuring sterling wire, onyx, coordinating Chaistolite and handmade 1" sterling silver ear wires (21G). With a total length of 4" (10.16 cm)

What better realization of Luke 19:40 ... “I tell you,” He replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

Necklace is 20" (50.8 cm), earrings
If you are not her, please contact me for a custom order!!

Here's another Sesame Jasper, this time in brown. They are paired with bronzite beads of an unusual but beautiful cut. I found both of these in a fellow Etsy seller's supply shop. Using black onyx and antique gold celtic knots as spacers, this 20" (50.8 cm) necklace set is a sumptuous buffet of earthy tones and visual texture that will look good with jeans and boots or dressed up for the evening.

The 3" (7.6 cm) earrings match the pendant with the same sesame jasper and bronzite. They can be worn alone or with the necklace set. The bronzite provides a gorgeous luster like tiger-eye, but does not overwhelm. I think you'll love this one as much as I liked creating it!

Last photo: my other sesame jasper listing, for a gorgeous mint chocolate chip-like green sesame jasper necklace set. It is accented by ceramic beads the color of coffee beans, champagne-colored faceted crystal, tiger eye, freshwater pearls, and these cute little oval-shaped glass beads with a marbled blue finish that I found at my favorite bead store. A hand-wired anti-tarnish brass S clasp completes the set.

There are two pair of earrings that I made to go with these. Those 2" dangles pictured with the necklace, and the longer ones in the next listing. You may switch them out if you prefer, just indicate your wish in the notes to seller. OR, you could get both, which is fine by me! All of my necklace sets come with earrings. It's my way of saying thanks for finding my shop, and choosing my work.

Dolphins Dancing Labradorite and Mother of Pearl earrings

From twin carved Mother-of-Pearl leaping dolphin pendant beads hang irridescent labradorite drops that remind me of the waves at the beach in the summer. What a joy to see dolphins leaping and playing in the waves! Makes me wish summer was here already. Pendant beads are carved both sides.

The total length of these earrings is 2 1/2" (6.35 cm). THe labradorite drops are a very nice quality, with flashes of brilliant blue best seen in natural light. And when you shake your head, you'll be delighted when you watch the highlights dancing in the mirror. Almost like dolphins dancing in the waves. Gorgeous!

Last two photos: my other Labradorite listing, at this link: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20084315

Also described as Tourmalinated Quartz, these stones have black tourmaline rutiles, or needles, criss-crossing through a milky white base. The majority of tourmalinated quartz on the market today is from the gem-rich Minas Gerais area of Brazil.

Beautifully accented with black onyx, silver and silver-lined glass "E" beads, this 18" (45.7 cm) necklace features a 2" pendant of tourmalinated quartz, and a tiny onyx dangle. And look at those Tourm. Quartz donut beads! Aren't they adorable!! The 3" (7.6 cm) earrings are a dramatic combination of Tourm. Quartz, onyx and silver, and are designed for movement. The elegance and style of this set will turn heads and stimulate compliments. That's why we wear jewelry, isn't it?

You may pick a pair and tell me which ones you'd like in the notes to seller. If you want more than one pair, tell me which ones and I'll create a custom listing. My daughter has been rather prolific in creating earrings lately, and I didn't want to clutter my site with too many listings for earrings. I want Etsy to get their fair share, so I'll relist as often as I need to sell al of them.

First pair: Rose quartz, dyed hot pink quartz, and I think those are cultured pearls, they're vintage from an older friend who kindly bestowed them on her...

second pair: foil-lined glass and glass cubes

third pair: lampworked beads with rose quartz and lampworked dangles

fourth pair: her black and white glass fringe earrings -- these are $7.50. She'll do custom color combos (like team colors) for you at no extra charge.

fifth pair: millifiori glass, clear czech glass and royal blue swarovski crystals

We can switch to clipons at no charge, if you would like.

This time she's really hit it with a lampworked seahorse, highlighted by a foil-lined torso and beautiful burnt orange fins.

This elegant creature deserved elegant beads to set it off and gracefully frame your face while the seahorse whinnies "look at me!" Rebekah chose fire agate, carnelian, foil-lined beads, silver and onyx spacers, faceted AB crystal globes, and sparkly goldstone to spotlight this jewel. Awesome!

The 1 1/2" dangles on these earrings are an elegant accent to this 17 1/2" necklace set, with carnelian, AB crystal globes, onyx spacers, carnelian, and dangles of goldstone.

If you're not familiar with goldstone, you're in for a treat. this has been one of my favorites since I was a small child poring over my grandfather's hand-faceted stones. It's an engineered stone, with copper dust that gives the stone a depth and sparkle unmatched anywhere. It comes in blue, green and brown varieties, but she used a golden brown for this set.

Wow.

This necklace was ruminating for about 6 months until I finally acquired the right beads and the right look to make me happy. It was assembled on the pictured display bust so I could know how it would hang on a real model.

A three-strand necklace joined into one at the back with a hand-made S clasp, each tier was created for overall effect and statement.

The first strand is 17", and features amethyst and tiny sterling silver beads for a delicate touch. The second 20" strand are crystal seed beads with the slightest lavender and silver sparkle, resembling sea foam and froth at the water's edge. The third is a 22" strand featuring THREE pieces of Genuine Scottish Sea Glass wire-wrapped in silver, alternating with Amethyst, light green aventurine, and Florite. The pendant is suspended from multiple strands of clear and aqua crystal seed beads that are slightly stretchy for security.

The earrings are a continuation of the purple/green florite theme. Three Florite beads join large light green aventurine beads and silver spacers for 2 3'4" of dangly splendor. There's plenty of movement and sparkle, and they accent the necklace perfectly. Stay tuned for sea glass earrings that will also match this set, listed seperately.

I might be patting myself on the back, but this piece is just gorgeous, and I love it. I hope you will too.

Insurance is recommended when this necklace is shipped.

$74.50
From Wikipedia:

A tree of life is a mystical concept, a metaphor for common descent or a motif in various world theologies, mythologies and philosophies. This concept has lent itself also to be used in science and other areas.

The Tree of Life is mentioned in the Book of Genesis, in which it has the potential to grant immortality to Adam and Eve, in Proverbs where it's a simile for a blessing.

Etz Chaim, Hebrew for "Tree of Life", is a common term used in Judaism. The expression, found in the Book of Proverbs, is figuratively applied to the Torah itself.

Whatever your descent, the symbol of the tree is universal. Intertwined with the earth, it's life cycle similar to ours in that as a young shoot it stands straight and tall and is flexible, and as it ages it becomes bent over and fragile.

I hope you'll enjoy wearing this Tree of Life as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to "life." Copper wire encircles the 2" (5 cm) pendant; the Fancy Jasper chips are wired on with brass wire to form the trunk and branches of the tree. Large blocks and beads of Fancy Jasper ascend the 18" (45.75 cm)necklace to the clasp, featuring copper, silver and 14kt GP beads.

The earrings are just as extraordinary. The 2" (5cm) dangles feature matching jasper beads with miniature 3/4" (2 cm) tree of life pendants on brass and copper wire.

See my Tree of Life Bracelet, in another listing.
