There is some darkening of the rhinestones on this one but as it is a Weiss, I made an exception. The darkened stones are spaced in a way that it doesn't appear as obvious (see pics on close up view).
Bracelet measures 6.5" and 1/4" wide.
As this piece is not in "perfect" condition, due the darkened stones - I am pricing this under market value.
Signed Weiss

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always, please feel free to convo me with any questions:)

*For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - Visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com *

$24.00
To say that I love this bracelet, is most definitely an understatement! Light blue and deep blue rhinestones grace this gorgeous mesh trimmed brass cuff. The stones are set, as opposed to glued and sit atop an interlinked mounted chain which was then glued to the cuff. This was a well worn bracelet - The pics will show that some of the stones have been slightly chipped and scratched but the sparkle that this gives off, far outweighs any chips or scratches.
Cuff measures 3/4" or 2cm in width.
My wrist is 8.25" and it fits a little snug - This is perfect for 8" and under.
Really gorgeous!
Unsigned
Please look at pics closely, as all flaws are disclosed.

Thanks so much for stopping by:)...and please remember that all of my items are completely guaranteed - See my policy page for details!

For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - Visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com

The green onyx rectangular cab measures 1 1/8" by 7/8" (2.8cm by 2.2cm). The goldtone adjustable band is heavier quality than most that I've come across, showing no signs of wear. I would suggest this for a size 7 and under, due to the size of the stone...too much change in the band size would probably effect the durability of the setting.
Marked Austria
Excellent condition

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always, please feel free to convo me with any questions:)

*For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - Visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com *

Wonderful artisan design and detail (double click on pics for a closer view). Marked 925 and another insignia that I can't quite make out - not a typical jewelry hallmark.
Garnet measures 8mm by 5mm. A recent single owner purchase of rings, has me relatively certain that this is a true garnet. Beautiful color and clarity with no scratching on the stone. Serpentine is often called "olive jade". Durable and beautiful in color, I use a lot of this in my own jewelry. Simple antiqued brass choker and marbleized Lucite bead, finish it off. There is a crack in the pendant at the bottom corner, while it shows on both sides it hasn't gone through the stone to the outside and appears to be very much intact. Please remember that pics are taken on a "close up" setting and imperfections are more prominent than they are in person. Due to this flaw, I will guarantee the choker for 1 year after purchase. Should you have any chipping in the stone, simply return to me for a complete refund.
Choker measures 15 1/2"

Thanks so much for stopping by:)

* For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - Visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com *

$60.00
The word Nippon, simply translated means Japan. Nippon china was produced for export to the United States from 1865 to 1921. The McKinley Tariff Act prohibited imported items that were not clearly marked (in English) from the point of origin. (We're a little bossy, aren't we?:) Since Nippon was the Japanese equivalent of Japan - The Nippon markings came to an end and the word Japan was substituted.
In summary, any china marked Nippon can be dated from 1865-1921. From there I go on the particular stamp style, this one being the M Wreath, also most Nippon china with gold accents, such as this one, were produced prior to 1910. The M Wreath is the signature stamp of what is now Noritake. Suffice to say that this set is close to, if not more than 100 years old. It's in excellent condition with a little wearing of the gold trim.
There are no chips or scratches. I purchased this set at a very reasonable price and I am passing that savings on to you:)
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I do recommend additional insurance on this item. Basic coverage is up to $100 value.

Thanks for looking...and reading:)

For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - please visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com

There is some wearing of the gold and the circles are tinted blue on the inside of the glass (I'm not sure if this was intentional or a sign of wear...it's almost too consistent to be wear)
No chipping or scratching.
Glasses measure 4.5" high and hold 1 3/4 ounces.

Thanks so much for stopping by:)

I have this set in 4 oz and 10oz.
This listing is for (4) 4 ounce stemmed rocks/cordial glasses. The etching is done in a wheat pattern and very pretty. Glasses measure 4" high and 3 1/4" across the top. Notice the beautiful shape of the stem, at the base of the glass...not only is it very pretty, it makes them very comfortable to hold.
You will see what looks like a possible chip, in one of the glasses - it isn't...on that particular glass the etching goes up into the lip and is smooth to the touch.
Please feel free to convo me with any questions.
If you are interested in both sets - the price would be $34.00...just convo me in advance and I will adjust the listing.

Thanks so much for stopping by:)

The gold trim is only on the lid. The bowl itself has a lovely woven pattern.
Measures 7" in diameter, 4" tall and 6" with lid. The only imperfection is the small white chip, visible in the photo.
Please be advised that any vintage ceramics may contain some lead content. They are perfectly safe for dry products and toiletries...or just to show off:)
The gold trim is in excellent condition and based on the style, I would date this piece to the 1950's.
Unsigned
Please feel free to convo me with any questions.

Thanks so much for stopping by:)

Brass trimmed "frame" snap closure and chain, adorned with rhinestones (there are a few missing) and topped with a smooth brick red stone.
There is slight fraying inside under the closer but it is remarkably clean. I believe that the lining is the original canvas. Many of these purses have been relined and for that reason, I am pricing this piece below market value.
The purse measures 6" across the bottom, 4" across the top and 5" high.
I'm sure that the brass trim can be polished to a shine, however, I did not want to damage the fabric itself and decided to leave this up to it's new owner.

As always, thanks for stopping by and feel free to convo me with any questions:)

For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - Visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com

Wonderful notched detailing along the gold trimmed edges and stained red dots, highlight the bowls. Each bowl is 4 1/4" in diameter and 1 3/4" high.
There are 5 bowls in this set. The gold trim is slightly worn and there are no chips or scratches.
Because most glass is not marked, finding it's origins can be quite a task. Fortunately, someone was kind enough to contact me with a little history on these bowls. The pattern appears to be Bull's Eye and Daisies. This was a US Glass pattern from around 1905-1910.

Thanks for looking and please remember to check my feedback rating at http://whimsicalpam.etsy.com

This could be a chocolate pot (although those are usually a little taller), a covered pitcher or coffee pot.
It stands 9" high and 8" wide (handle to spout).
The pot is in very good condition however, there are 3 chipped inner rose petals (see pics). Because of the design of the pot and the gold trim, I didn't even notice these until doing the actual listing...so that gives you an idea of how apparent they are:)
The Elephant mark, shown on the base is that of pieces made by Tashiro Shoten Ltd, in the 1930's.
For more information on Japanese markings, please visit
http://www.gotheborg.com/marks/index_jap_marks.htm?http://www.gotheborg.com/marks/20thcenturyjapan.shtml
...very interesting stuff:)
Please convo me with any questions

Thanks so much for stopping by:)
Have a moment?...please peruse my new vintage clothing shop at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com

As I mentioned in my shop announcement, I like to add a little history to each piece, when possible.
After acquiring this bag, I researched the label inside, Laurice Keyloun. Laurice Keyloun is a lovely woman ( I spoke to her personally) who was thrilled that I found one of her bags. It turns out that she is from the same area that I'm from and was a designer (and boutique owner) in the early 1970's.
This bag is in impeccable condition. There is a small mark (pen maybe) on the right side. The straps show absolutely no wear and tear and the lining is meticulously clean.
Laurice requested that I send her the same pic's that I am posting for you...they're going in the mail tomorrow:)

Thanks for reading...and looking!

The copper is done in a kind of upside down heart pattern, with the faux pearl nestled at the point.
Very pretty and in very good condition.
Screwback closures. Earrings measure 1" or a little over 2cm, at their widest point. As the base (heart shape) is curved, they measure approximately the same in height as in width. Each faux pearl measures approx. 1" in diameter or 10mm.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
I would date these to the early 1970's or 1960's.

Thanks for looking and have fun shopping:)

The lighter metal used to wrap around the finger makes me think of wings. There is a little wearing on the one side but it's barely noticeable. I believe that the green cab is glass but could possibly be a type of aventurine. There is some minimal cracking within the stone however it just adds to its "Goth" look. This is an adjustable ring but has been bended into a size 6.5 to 7 and seems pretty set there:) The cab measures 3/4" or a little over 2cm. The side "wings" measure 7/8" or 2.3cm.
Please feel free to convo me with any questions.

Thanks so much for stopping by:)...and please remember that all of my items are completely guaranteed - See my policy page for details!

For vintage fashion, belts, hats and handbags - Visit me at http://whimsicalretrostyle.etsy.com

Not noticeable when worn or even looked it, it's more of a close inspection type of thing:)
The oval goldtone clasp measures 1 1/4" by 1". There are 30
4mm rhinestones, 10 of which are emerald green. There is some slight wearing of the goldtone on the back (skin facing side) of the clasp.
Due the few imperfections, I will be pricing this a little lower than other similar pieces.
Length 14 1/4"
Please feel free to convo me with any questions.

Thanks so much for stopping by:)

I read an article that said that most buffalo horn is black and that the occurance of brown is very rare. There are 6 brown horn slices and only one black, on this necklace.
Based on the labeling, I would put this piece in the 1950's or 1960's.
Necklace measures 26"
The larger of the wood beads measure 45mm and the horns, 45mm in length.
Definitely a conversation piece!

Thanks for stopping by and please remember to check my feedback rating at http://whimsicalpam.etsy.com

Delicate pink, green and blue flowers decorate this gold trimmed plate.
The G Wreath marking on the back, dates these plates in the 1950's and made in Japan. I did not find the matching cups to these, but any pink, green, blue or white tea cup would be a beautiful match.
Excellent condition with no scratches or chips. Plates measure 8" in diameter.
6 plates are in this set, however I would be willing to sell them in groups of 2 - just convo and I will set up a new listing for you.
