I am not big on naming my beads, but I have discovered I have so many fish beads at the moment that simply trying to describe them in the title is not going to work. So I wait for a name to come to me. Don't know why this guy wants to be Albert but.............

Albert is handmade from a base of transparent red with orange and yellow swirls. He is 28 mm wide and 18mm long.

All of my glasswork is handmade by me in my home studio. I kiln anneal for strength and durability and dremel clean all beads before offering them for sale.

Cindy is handmade by me in my home studio using a variety of moretti and vetrofond orange and yellow glass. She is 31mm wide and 19mm long. The hole in this bead is vertical. She would look lovely as a pendant on her own, or incorpoarted into a necklace with other glass beads.

This pendant is made with a several shades of blue glass twisted into clear and then formed into a teardrop. It measures 50mm long and 15 mm wide. The internal diameter of it's loop is 5 mm.

I fell in love with this color combination and made a pendant to match the beads. The base is CIM Ghee with a frit of mixed browns. It is a good sized pendant, you can tell by looking a the picture of it next to a dime. I love this combo so much I made myself a pair of lentil earrings with these colors.

While experimenting with a new pendant design, I happened upon this color combination: CIM Ghee with a frit called Bermuda Sands. I absolutely fell madly in love with it! I decided to create a set of beads with the last of the frit - I hope my supplier has more! You will receive a total of 8 beads: two large lentils, 2 medium lentils and 4 oval beads. To me, they are reminiscent of an animal print, while still not literally an animal print.

I love Raku, I was playing with raku shards and came up with this set! Two 17 mm black lentils with raku shards and one focal bead. The focal is 32 mm long and 22mm wide at it's widest point. IT is made on a base of black glass with raku shards and a little silvered ivory thrown in for fun.

I am calling this set preening, because my husband says they remind him of a peacock. This set is made on a base of silvered ivory with ASK bhai blue and CIM thai orchid - both lovely rich hues! I added raku to the mix on top of the blue and purple. The focal bead is raked and measures 35mm by 22mm. The lentils are 20mm in diameter.

Purple Dreams - bumpy bead set

Here is a set of bumpy beads made in various shades of purple. The focal bead is an 18x16 mm long oval with dots of clear over poked purple dots. All the beads have been made on a base of black glass rolled in silver foil. White was dotted on, then a variety of transparent purples and finally opaque purple dots left raised. The largest of the round beads is 12mm in diameter. The smallest is 9mm in diameter. There are 10 round bumpy beads.

Louie is slightly lighter than my picture. The blue is also not as dark as the pictures. He was very hard to photograph. Louie was made with amber glass and iris gold frit for a beautiful striated effect.

This is a set of beads I made after discovering what silver leaf does with vetrofond moss agate. These beads are a base of pale moss agate, wrapped with silver leaf and heated to melt in the leaf. The lentil and two ovals have strands of avacado marble for more variation. The lentil bead is 15mm in diameter. The 4 oval beads are 13mm long and 10mm at their widest center portion.

Orange ovals

Here are 7 oval beads made with transparent orange glass with surface decorations of yellow and opaque orange. These would match my fish bead - Cindy. 15 to 12mm long and 12 to 7mm wide. The orange glass is highly reflective - the bright spots you see in the pictures are the glass reflecting light back. I am not savvy enough with my picture software to remove them.
