8 slices of deer antler make up the marrow runes of this stunning and intricate piece. a labor of love of blood.

brass chains join together the discs of antler that have the appearance of smooth stones. the textures and colors are just lovely. at the base of the piece, a vintage brass circle holds a chandelier crystal dagger and an antler tip, along with a few layers of chain.

closes at the neck with a 'S' clasp.

a spent, silver, oxidized bullet casing, engraved with my favorite word 'absentia', dripping with a tangle of thin matte gunmetal chains and held up with vintage silver/ gunmetal bar chain. a tiny tiny snake vertebrae dangles from the end of a three inch extender chain. a lovely chunk of amethyst is set into the bullet giving it the esteem of a coveted jewel.

a myth of ghosts in the shell and the absence of things, in the appearance of a tube of magical lipstick.

a striking pair of earrings for a daring darling.

delicate silver chains holds tiny snake vertebrae that dangle from silver ear wires. for another layer of mystery, miniature, antique silver optical lenses dangle against the jaw bone, exposing the layer of lovely chain through the lens. victorian reverence for the curiosity was the theme i was exploring, thinking of a time when everything lovely, strange and antique was revered beneath bell jars or in cabinets of curiosities.

the snake vertebrae add the magick talisman effect to the earrings, representing transformation and seduction against the bare neck of the wearer. bones are often used in native american healing and fortune telling rituals, adding a spiritual layer to the earrings.

these strangelings are an eyelash and a half over 3 inches long.

this find was most rare.
an antique ave maria sacred heart holy water bottle takes center stage on a cluster of 5 different tangled silver chains. the bottle top screws off so you can put whatever you'd like in it, a rolled up love letter, a lock of hair, posion..........

beautiful floral engraving and the emblems of A & M on the front.

the most unusual brass skeleton key, salvaged at the flea that surrounds the haunted eastern state penn here in philly, is held up over the heart by two lengths of unexpected, copper mini pennies. this chain has been drowned beneath the wreckage of my studio for months now and has finally surfaced. i was saving it. saving it for this key, a perfect pair. the vintage chain has a serious patina that reveals some hints its brilliant copper, dark gray shades and slight teal tones. it reminds me of a bronze statue in a cemetery.

the pennies convey so much. lincoln's legacy, the idea of both good & bad luck & of course money. what does it mean to you?

8 inches around the neck so the key hangs over the heart and above cleavage. however, i can happily adjust this to the perfect fit, send me a note.

the key is 3 & 3/4 inches long & is the most strange of my collection. i've come across a lot of keys & have never seen anything like this before.

the most magnificent, highly detailed, cast baby crow skull. ever.

bronze with copper tones. darker tones within eye cavities complimented with tiny hints of teal patina. absolutely lovely, especially when paired with a brass 7 of sorrows rosary connector & vintage brass bar link chain.

this piece is an homage to my muse, who i imagine would tenderly touch and rub the top of this crow skull head, for good luck, for good writing, for a psychic shift.

the crow for me has many dark personal symbols; a skinny tiny tiny, my favorite movie was 'the crow'. this symbol has gone on to extend to have many other subtle layers of myth and magic for me and it is an undying symbol.

an antique, delicate odd fellows badge is paired with my favorite vintage brass bar chain as
a star shaped mexican milagro is attached at the tip of the extender, which will dangle down the back of the neck of the wearer.

the badge itself is a small wonder, more lightweight than my previous odd fellow eye badges. it has a frame of twisted and ornate brass and is hooked to an ave maria rosary connector which is just as delicate and wondrous.

in theory this piece is more delicate than my usual work, but the single eye adds an element of the strange which will surely cause it to stand out.

the three rings featuring the intials F L T stand for friendship, love & truth.

i've blended three schools of thought, the secrecy of secret societies, mexican good luck charms and catholic imagery, creating a new, hybrid spiritual piece.

in the spirit of surrealist assemblage; these dangerous darlings are composed, unexpectedly, of spent bullet casings & chunks of amethyst. thin strands of matte gunmetal chain dangle against the jawbones of the wearer, adding a feminine touch to a serious pair of earrings.

resembling tubes of magical lipstick, these are a tad substantial and hang from french hooks.

my first piece in my 'mina hawker for bloodmilk' series, which is a love letter in the form of adornments to the love struck character of mina hawker in bram stoker's dracula & features nostalgic designs and elements that highlight dark romance and the victorian era & hysteria.

a genuine antique piece of victorian hardware that echoes the beautiful details of east lake is paired with small pieces of snake vertebrae and an old skeleton key that i saved from the house of a woman who had in life, suffered from agoraphobia & didn't leave her home after the 1950's.

the lariat is wonderfully composed of vintage brass chain that features interesting flat nubby links in brass and copper tones.

the antique keyhole & key both have lovely age worn patina.
