GORGEOUS strawberry handmade needlepoint, dating to the late 1950's, early 60's. Needlepoints were a very popular way to pass time, and create something beautiful, by many women, in decades past. These needlepoints were brought to leather shops, and turned into purses.

It is in excellent, previously owned condition, with only very little usage seen inside the lining. The outside is spotless. The lining is warm tan colored soft kid leather, with a long, brass zippered side wall pocket, and slip pocket combination, and the otherside has another wall pocket with 2 sections. The purse is framed in beige leather, and the handle, is 1 1/2" wide, and is backed with the same beige leather, for strength, and added durability. Large, golden brass colored tilt back nob closure, working perfectly. 4 golden feet on the bottom. Handle is long, and allows this purse to be worn over the shoulder, offering a 8" drop. Measures about 6.5" tall, by 17" wide, end to end, by 6" deep, from front to back. Height, with handle is about 14 1/2".

VINTAGE MAGGY ROUFF WOOL RED/BLACK SKIRT JACKET SUIT

An iconic woman, born in PARIS, in 1896, Maggy Rouff opened her own design house on CHAMPS ELYSEES, in 1926. Known mainly for her sportswear, and flowing lingerie designs. This wool suit seems to have the same label, as some of the 1960's Maggy Rouff garments I have seen on other internet sites, so I am dating this suit, to be from the 1950's-60's. But, I could be wrong... as this suit has a 1940's flare. It is in better than excellent condition, with absolutely NO damage, fading, holes, or smells. One missing button, which you can have one made, with stealing some extra fabric, from the inside hems, to cover a button the same size, that has a shank. The button is missing off the left pocket. If you can't have a button made, you can remove the buttons from the cuffs, and place one on the pocket. Being left with a spare. This suit is labeled a size 10, but here are some approximate measurements taken with a tape measure. Compare them to yourself, for a sure fit and it would be wise, if you measured your own body with a cloth tape measure, for comparison.

The skirt is straight, with a fine~toothed brass zipper on the left side. I have replaced one half of the hook and eye closure, since one side was missing. The front of the waist has 3 darts on each side. The back of the skirt has 2 wider spaced darts on each side. The waist measures 14 1/2", thus fitting a upto a 29" waist. The length of the skirt is 24". 17" across the hips, for 34" hips.

The jacket, is as follows:
Gorgeous fitting, 3/4 length split sleeves, fastened closed with a covered shank button. Black rayon twill piping, along all the edges.(the edging IS NOT FADED. It is black in real life. ALSO, there is a black rayon neck scarf, that goes with this jacket, that is worn under the collar, and ties in the front. I could not find it at the time I was taking the photographs. It is included with this suit purchase.

Dolman like sleeves, estimated shoulder span is about 15". Sleeve length, from the center of the back of the neck, measured to the cuff is 27". From the armpit to cuff, is about 12". Armpit to armpit is just under 19", and should fit up to a 36" bust comfortably. PLease measure your bust line, all around, and should measure approx 36". A 38" bust may be tight across the front, and back. I am a 39" measured with a tape measure, and I could NOT close the jacket. The waist is 16" across, thus fitting perfectly over the 29" waisted skirt. Length of jacket is 24", measured from the back of the neck to hem. Neither piece is lined, but finished perfectly. Inverted box pleat pockets...

A beautiful suit, you will not be disappointed.

Nice, pre-owned genuine GUCCI 2 tone leather boots size 5. Half maroon red, and plum burgundy. Crepe sole, stack heel, leather lined, gold signiture buckle, maroon/plum leather. Leather uppers in excellent condition with several small scuffs and niks, imo not obvious, unless you are looking for them. In excellent condition, circa 1960's. Sized 35, or a US 5. Vintage sized, so they may run a teeny bit smaller than current day size 5. Boot is 9" long, heel up against the wall, thus 'wall to toe' measured,,, Boot is 12" tall. Widest outer sole width is 3", and has a 2" heel. Please compare my given approximate measurements to boots similar to one you own, for a sure fit. Soles are in excellent, hardly worn condition.

Inspired by an 1950's mink rose brooch, from Bonwitt Teller, these were created one, by one, by hand, by me, using genuine, dyed mink tails, wrapped around a stiffened dyed silk rose. They come in 4 different colors, and this listing is for a shabby pink rose, with maroon mink fur, (called Bordeaux). Being that each one is hand made, the one you will get, may vary slightly from photo. They look fabulous, pinned on a vintage sweater, coat, or purse... Pin it on a shrug, or shawl, or as accents on a curtain tieback. Many uses, if you can use your imagination. Each fluffy fur encompassed rose measures approximately 3" across. The backing is a secure pin that locks closed. There is a small stem, on the back, and 1 or 2 leaves peeking out from under each brooch. They make lovely gifts, or stocking stuffers.

AMAZING vintage 60's SURF LINE shirt, in the most unusual styling, where the fabric was printed, and shirt sewn with the printed side inside.... This was done to create a chambray, or crossweave effect... Colors are chambray red, and bordeau brown, with hints of yellow details.... The dark bordeau border at the top, also is used as the button down section, and this border continues across the top of the back. The shirt is sewn with a western style front, and there is a front flap pocket that closes with a button. Double stitched seams, little label inside the seam says M, for medium. PLease check the foolowing approx. measurements, to see if it'll fit you. Chest, measured flat, from armpit to armpit, is 20", length of shirt from back of neck, where collar is attached, to hem is 28-29". Neck is 15 3/4". Sewn on embroidered SURF LINE label above pocket. A pair of heavy, brass enamel brooches. These are old, possibly 1930s. C-clasp is helping me date this, as well as the flower motif. Very european, in my opinion. The very edges, of the enamel look worn, from age, and the wire on the back of one of the pins, seems to wobble, more than it should, and does not stay closed.. The other pin closure works fine. They BOTH measure 2 1/2" long, and just under 1" at widest part.

1950's 3D Strawberry Purse

24 large yummy crocheted strawberries surround this mint condition crocheted bucket purse, circa 1950's. Manufacturered by a well known (at the time) purse manufacturer, RITTER handbags, with their famous tag line, "It's in the BAG", embroidered in gold thread, on their labels. They primarily made whimsical and high end styled straw/wicker purses, with high end hardware, lucites, bamboos, and other materials. This purse was made in JAPAN. This purse is in mint, unused condition, has a white lining, and has 2 braided shoulder straps. The purse is white, or soft, white, in color, with no yellowing or soiling. Measuring about 7 1/2" tall, about 6 1/2" in diameter, and the straps add a 14" drop, when the purse is cinched closed. The ruffled gathered top, is 2 1/2" wide, and looks especially nice when the purse is closed.

50's RIBBON TANK

An amazing 50's tank top, in near perfect vintage condition. The fabric is an open weave, but not transparent, and the red and royal shirred ribbon is sewn on top, in a magnificent swirl. Not sure of what the fabric content is, as there is no label. The borders, consist of the same ribbon, only wider, shirred, and applied along the neckline, armholes and hemline. Side open hip vents, nice accent, and long nylon zipper with white metal pull. A hook and eye closure at the tippy top. There is a little fabric tag, sewn under the shoulder, in the seam, with the embroidered number 14.

This is a vintage size 14, but current day, is much smaller. PLease compare the measurements below, for a sure fit. The colors are red, cream (not white) and royal blue, but still considered patriotic. The material and the zipper, are the same color, so, this tells me, that the top was intended on being cream. Your monitor may display the top as being white, but, please understand, all monitors will vary from household to household. My pictures, are close to accurate.

This will fit upto a 32" bust line, taken with a tape measure. Flat, armpit to armpit measurement is a bit over 16". There is side to side stretch to the fabric, and may fit a 34" bust, on the snug side. Shoulder to shoulder span is about 14 1/2", and length of top is 23". Hips are about 36". VERY SLIGHT discoloring under the armpit, not noticeable unless you're looking for it. This top was probably worn only once. ~

An amazing 70's hand crocheted, or macramed top, in perfect vintage condition. This top is absolutely stunning, it was purchased in Greece, in 1971, (by my own mom) and never worn. This piece is made with thin natural cord, and is a beige, or natural light tan color. If your monitor is displaying this as white, it is not.

This will fit upto a 33-34" bust, comfortably, as the construction allows some give. The shoulder span is about 15". The length is 20". armpit to armpit is a flat 15", waist is a flat 15", and is to be worn cinched, with the cord.... overall, a real nice piece of handcrafted workmanship.~

Victorian Blouse

A precious early, 1900's cotton voile lawn blouse, in EXcellent wearable condition.
Best of all, it is a larger size, than most victorian pieces.
It has wonderful tuck pleats, all made by hand, and lovely fine lace detail. The raised scroll work, is also, gorgeous. The back opens all the way down, and closes with hidden buttons. The buttons are shell, and hidden under a flap. The back has a gathered strip, and ties, to create a semi fitted look in the back. The cuffs are wide, and close, with little string loops around each button. Buttons can be moved over, to suit your wrist size.
Neck opening is also generous,at about 15 1/2"......( not a teeny 14" neck ;-)

There are no rips, and it is structurally sound.
Could use a bath, in a whitening solution, to brighten the garment, and get rid of the darker discoloring along the shoulders and sleeves, that occurred with storage and age.

There is one darker satin on the side, by the shoulder, which, with careful direct attention, could fade away. There is also a small stain, on one of the cuff tucks, that is not that noticeable, and should fade away after you soak this.
Could use another snap, up by the neck closure, to eliminate the pulling look of the collar.

Please compare the following approximate measurements to a garment you own, that is similar, and also, measure your body with a tape measure, to make sure this will fit you.

Measurements are taken flat, then doubled. I always allow about an inch, for a proper fit.
17" shoulder to shoulder span. Sleeve length is about 25". Underarm to cuff is 18".
Bust, measured armpit to armpit is 22"-23", thus fitting a 40-42" bust comfortably.
Waist is about 20-21", thus fitting a 38" waist.
Length, from shoulder to hem, is 24".

Nice genuine alligator purse, made in the 1960's, in FLORIDA, USA.... the condition is excellent, pre-owned, and there are no flaws to mention. The purse is lined in leather, with several compartments, and 2 brass zippered compartments as well. The color of this purse, is a soft butter cream , with color distributions of taupes and tans... 4 little protecting feet on the bottom. Clasp nice and gold, and working perfectly~Handle is thick, and lined on the underside, with beige leather, for extra support. Measures about 7 3/4-8" wide,about 8" tall, and 3" deep, from front to back, at the bottom, and tapering to 2 1/2" deep at the top. 12" handle.

Though made here, in the USA, similar croc bags, in this color, that were european dyed, the 1960's, fetch upwards of over $1000 as pictured in the new SCHIFFER COLLECTOR'S BOOK , called HIGH FASHION HANDBAGS, by ADRIENNE ASTROLOGO, and NANCY SCHIFFER. Copyright 2007.

Unmarked HULL vase, in the style MARDI GRAS. Book piece~the 6" version is found on page 41 of the book called THE COLLECTORS ENCYCLOPEDIA of HULL POTTERY, by BRENDA ROBERTS. Circa 1940s. Golden warm yellow, ribbed sides, clean, with one small flaw, under the lip. A few small holes, where glazing did not catch. Has general crazing on the inside. Aprox. 8" tall. A vintage gem, from Brazil. Made by Marheta, this bag company was known, for their gorgeous vinyl embroidered evening purses. I have sold bags by them, in the past, made between the 50's and 60's. They came in different shapes and sizes, mostly done in white vinyl, with heavy embroidery, covering every square inch. Rarely, have I have I seen one done in black, and this one, is a beauty, made in embroidered satin and applied pearls.

Fine gold thread, covers this purse, inside and out. Gold metallic piping, along the edges. Brass metal snap. Swivel handle. Clean, black lining, with a sidewall pocket bearing the name Marheta, Rio de Janeiro.

This purse is in excellent condition. Clean, almost perfect, with no issues. No threads loose, or missing pearls. It is so victorianna/goth, that anyone can make this work with their personality and wardrobe.

Measures 8 1/2" Wide at the bottom, tapering to 6 1/2" at the top.
1 1/2" deep, from front to back.
Handle is 14 1/2" long.

70's Snake Rhinestone Shoes

Tantalizing, and teasing........wrap these around your ankles......Made in Italy, for Neiman Marcus, these 70's beauties are just fascinating. The snaked ankles are made of a sturdy, springy wire, covered with leather, with bezel set white rhinestones. The snake head tips are painted gold. The shoes, are a clean, black silk satin, with a leather silver lame foot bed. Outer sole is leather, heels are satin. Shoes are in excellent, previously worn, undamaged condition. 2 rhinestones are missing, right at the base of one of the snakes, where it attaches to the heel. Easily replaceable, hardly noticeable.

Shoes are marked a size 7, vintage sizes do run smaller than modern day sizing.
Compare these measurements to shoes that you currently wear, for a sure fit.

Inside heel to toe, is 9 3/4". Outer, bottom sole widest width, is just under 3" wide....(2 7/8") Heel is 4".

Gorgeous, comfortable... they stay up, and they will fit a size 7-7 1/2 hand...... sexy, easy to wear nylon knit, and they have 2 nice black, enamel coated metal snaps, at the underside of EACH wrist, that form peek-a-boo holes. The material is a nice, medium weight knit, with a little bit of stretch. These are vintage 50's, or there abouts, and belonged to the same woman, who owned my HERMES gloves, and other black leather gloves, which are also for sale here on ETSY.

These are clean, ready to wear. Wanna know if these will fit you? Measure your hand, below your knuckles, around your hand (not including your thumb). Mine measures 7 1/2" around. These gloves, measured flat in the same place, measure about 2 5/8" flat, though, 3 1/4" stretched, and I was able to fit into them. My longest, middle finger measures 3 1/8" without nails, and the glove's longest finger measures 3 1/8". Wrist, measured flat, is 2 3/4". Upper arm measures 5 1/8" flat. Fits my upper arm nicely, which measures 11" around....(circumference). Total length is about 26" long, from tip of middle finger to cuff.

FLirty Flocked Party Dress SALE Reg 75

From the late 70's, a flouncy, flirty, flocked black party dress. Very well made dress. It is in excellent condition, ready to wear, right from the box. Tons of layered fabric in the skirt, makes for the perfect dance dress. The top layer of the bodice and skirt, is a sheer, stiffened fabric, with black velvet flocked swirls....accented in gold glitter. Then, along the scalloped waistline, is a continuous strand of metallic gold beads.

Layer #2, is a stiffened fabric layer, for body, (cotton, I think), and under that layer, is layer #3, black tulle. The top portion of the bodice is nude illusion, and the black lining is a fine thin silk. There is a back nylon hidden zipper, about 23" long. Slightly padded shoulders. The bodice and skirt is fitted, and is like a modern day small, to medium. Here are some measurements, to compare to yourself, for a sure fit. Please use a tape measure, and do your homework.

Shoulder to shoulder is 15". Sleeve length is 23". Armpit to sleeve cuff is 16.5. Cuffs are split, and close to fit, with a hidden black snap. Bust, (armpit to armpit flat) is 17", and will fit UP TO a 34" bust. Use that tape measure, and measure your bust, (thin bra) all around it's fullest point, and if you measure 34" or less, this dress should fit fine on top. Waist, side to side is 14.5", for a 28" waist. Low waist, up by the hips, measures 17", as the hip starts....( 34"). The rest of the skirt is free, and is a circle skirt. The only evidence of a label, is a piece of a paper label, caught in the inside hem of the tulled skirt. From the looks of it, it is 1970s.

Over your skimpiest thong, or nothing at all.... This is the sexiest nightgown, I've ever tried on. Why not keep it, you ask? I think this nighty would have more fun, on someone else :-)) It is breast hugging, if you're a 38 or larger, will fit upto a 40" bust with no problem. It clings to your breasts, and leaves little to the imagination. The waist is up, under the breast, for empire styling, is elastic, and stretches to a flat 17", for 34" all around, under the breast measurement. Sweet, previously owned, and worn 40's sling back peep toes. They are black suede, with clear plastic accents. The leather upper insole, has started to curl up, at the very front edges, by the toes, and I will have that glued down, for the new owner. The inner suede lining of the sling backs are dirty. The suede black uppers are clean, and show no damage or stains. No niks, no tears, really nice heel condition, too. Once the shoes are on, you really cannot see the light dirt on the inside light colored suede lining. Sweet, true 40's pin up.... they run small, labeled a size 5.5. Here are some measurements to compare to a pair you currently own, for a sure fit" Heel to toe, measured on the upper insole, is 9 1/8". Heel height is a fabulous 3.5". NICE, CLEAN black suede shoes from the 1960's. They are in just about perfect condition, on the outside, and look gorgeous. You can wear them right from the box. Suede is black, clean, with no damage, and the outer soles are leather. The heel is a shiny black patent leather. Brand is Naturalizer, made in the USA. Inner lining is a tad dirty, from gentle wear. You can buy insoles and replace them, or wear'm as is.

These are marked a size 6 1/2, and fit a 6 B, nicely. If you are a size 6 1/2, then these may be a little tight on you, as vintage sizing does run smaller than modern day sizes.

The shoes are made by Florsheim, and are lined in leather, with leather foot beds. The outer soles are leather. These are marked a size 8, and fit a 7.5 B, or wide, nicely. STUNNING black satin glass atomizer, made in AUSTRIA. Atomizer working perfectly~ I do not think there was ever any perfume inside this. No tarnish on the gold hardware. It is in excellent condition, with no scratches, or chips, or flea bites. Measures about 3 1/2" across, and just under 3" tall. The atomizer part measures 9 1/2" long, and the tassel adds another 4". Pair of signed, czechoslovakian crystal clear perfume bottles, with black glass stoppers. Daubers are slightly chipped at the ends that sit in the neck of the bottle, please see photos. Those flaws cannot be seen, when displayed with the tops in the bottles. Pair has no other damage. Each bottle measures about 3 1/8" square, by about 2 1/2" tall, 5" tall, with the tops. Vintage head scarf, in black, fluid nylon tulle, accented with single rows, of different colored sequins. One break in the tulle, (can be repaired), as shown, towards one side of the rectangular shape.. Measures about 18" wide, about 40-41" long. very slinky and fluid, it's hard to get an accurate measurement.

Would look great as a light curtain, on a small, single window, in a bathroom, or kitchen... look past the norm, and use this as an accent piece in your home, rather than only on your head.

Simple, elegant black silk velvet beret, 1940's or so. Beautiful clean, undamaged, and ready to wear. Long sleek double black feather, graces the front of the hat, and will hang over the side of your face. Inside has a hidden metal flexible rod, that keeps the hat in proper form. Will sit on top of just about any crown. May have to pin in place. Inside circumference is about 21 1/2"....measured along the grossgrain hem. There is still more hat hem, in velvet, past that, which is the hat, actually curving under.

Long 50's French Suede Gloves

Gorgeous, BLACKest black, softest kid suede gloves... they feel like velvet. I've lightened some of the photos, so that the detail will show better. These are not dirty, they are clean, and very black. These are vintage 50's, or there abouts, and belonged to the same woman, who owned my HERMES gloves, and other black leather gloves, and the nylon opera gloves. which are also for sale here on ETSY.

These are clean, ready to wear. Wanna know if these will fit you? Measure your hand, below your knuckles, around your hand (not including your thumb). These gloves, measured flat in the same place, measure about 3" flat, which means if your hand measures about 7" around, these should fit you. The glove's longest finger measures 3". Wrist, measured flat, is 3 1/4". Upper opening measures 4 1/2" flat. I did not try them on, as I did not want to stretch them. Total length is 15" from tip of middle finger to cuff. They appear to be unworn.

There is some information printed on the inside of the gloves, the company is called "Kislav" (S.A.G.B) and they are French. She only bought the best, but didn't wear half of what she owned.

Yellow suede shoes, from the 1960's, made by VIP.... Ankle straps, and gold detail, make these special. Nice find, that were never worn, but throughout their travels, one shoe got dirty, on one side. A Shoe cobbler would be able to clean this with his trusted suede cleaner. Also, the foot beds are curling, from age, and I will use rubber cement, to make them stay down, before I ship them. They are gorgeous shoes, that are well worth the money~

They are vintage sized, and my approximate measurements should be compared to s shoe that you currently wear, for a sure fit. Kindly do your homework, as vintage shoes are not returnable. In excellent, unworn condition.

Probably a size 7, euro 37, as these are not marked. Inside foot bed measures 9 3/4".

Very cool, vintage aviator sunglasses, made in JAPAN. They have silver mirrored lenses, which were hard to capture, without being on someone. They are very reflective. lenses are grey, and fairly dark, in my opinion. Layered orange, black and sunny yellow acetate frames, very similar to the Oliver Peoples aviator style of this year. Sturdy thick frames. Heavy duty 5 barrel hinges, signed, JAPAN.

In excellent previously owned and used condition.

Opthalmic measurements as follows:
Frames measure 6" across, tip to tip (150mm).
Bridge is 22mm.
Lens width is (2 1/8") 55mm.
Lens height is (1 5/8") 43mm.
Inside hinge to hinge is (5 3/8") 137mm.

Nice, very old berry hat, ripe with color. Certainly 1940's or earlier. The berries are yellow, to red, and some are plum and deep purple. Berries are hard, and attached to the hard wire framed hat, with wire, too. Leaves are stiffened and gloss coated, as are the berries. Frame is covered with olive green velvet. Basically will fit any size crown, and in any position you desire.

Different, anyway you look at it.
Berries are about 1/2" b 1/4".
Hat is about 7" by 6" by 4" high.
Flexible, and will stay on your head.

Imperfect carnival glass bowl, with intense iridescent quality. Imperfect by way of natural folds in the glass, and scratches from mishandling over the years. These flaws do not compromise the bowl's integrity at all. It has a great ring. Dispite it's unoffensive flaws, it is a beautiful display piece, brilliant on any color surface.

Wooden Box with Inlaid Design

Nice old wooden box, with inlaid floral motif on the lid. It is a warm colored wood with a tight grain, I do not know what type of wood it is. It is lined with a thick gold gilded lining, I think, a kind of leather, or paper, not sure, and has a mirror, that is somewhat foggy. The inside hinge is a piece of thick brown tape, that looks like book binding tape. There is also an old piece of scotch tape, there, below the hinge, on the lining. The box was my grandmother's. Needs a polishing, or conditioning, to rid the minor scuffs, displayed throughout. Small 1/4" dent in the front, positioned, 4:00 from the handle. Nice turned handle. Measures approximately 8 3/8" wide, 3 1/4" tall, 5 1/8" deep.

SWINGIN and flowing poly chiffon dress, never worn, perfect condition. Circa 1970's. No label, looks handmade, as lining inside upper half of dress is hand sewn in place. Wide sleeves, with elastic cuffs, gathered waist, and pretty full skirt. Open neckline, for your prettiest fruitsalad necklace. COlors are a chartreuse green background, with lime green flowers, oranges, pinks, and light blues, half tones, formed by a halftone pigment white. There is a light brown batik techique, scattered throughout the print, too. No yellow in the dress. Looks great when the sunlight is shining past the fabric. Skirt is unlined. Shoulder to shoulder is 15.5". Sleeve length is 23", Waist of dress measures 14.5-15" side to side, to fit a 28" waist comfortably. Shoulder to shoulder measures 15". Armpit to armpit measures 18", to fit a 35" bust. Use a tape measure, and measure your bust, all the way around, it's highest point, and use that measurement for your bust. Anything larger than my stated measurements, and this dress may be tight on you. Orange metal hidden zipper down the back. Total length of dress is about 41". Enjoy~

Darling set of graduated ceramic leaves, done in a very nice drippy glaze of aqua, kiwi, and moss greens, light blues, and browns. Smallest leaf measures about 3 1/2", and largest leaf measures 4 1/2" across. All three, stacked on top of each other stand about 1 1/2" high off the table.

In excellent condition, with no chips, or repairs. The top leaf and middle leaf have some crazing, use the zoom to see all the photos close up.

Kidskin leather lined interior, with a genuine patent leather/combo upper, and leather soles.

Sorry, do not know the US equivalent, but here are some measurements you can use, to compare with shoes you already have for the little one:

When the heel of this shoe is placed up against a wall, and I measure from wall, to front end of toe, the length of the shoe measures 7 7/8". Widest outer sole width is 2 5/8". Interior footbed is 7 3/8" long. 1/2" heel.

1940's Croc Shoes

Amazing vintage oxfords, made in a warm brown embossed leather with a cocoa brown suede top. The croc part may be genuine, because it looks too genuine, but I am not sure enough to make a definite claim. These are, made for a child. Though, if you have a small foot, these would be adorable. These are in perfect, unworn condition. Leather lined. Bottom leather sole is stamped PUDDU'S. The top of the shoe is hard, but not dry. The suede is soft, and bendable, but the croc part is stiffer. The outer sole is extremely thick and hard to bend, I am assuming they just used very thick soles, to make the shoe last. Box included.

The shoes are a rich warm brown, with no fading or drying to the leather. The cotton laces are original, and one is lighter then the other.

Please apply the following approximate measurements to your own foot, and shoe, for a sure fit. They seem to be marked a size 1 1/2 B, but I would not pay attention to that measurement.

VTG Gold Leaves Metallic wallpaper

An uncut roll of vintage wallpaper with a foliage motif. Would be about a triple roll. I have not unrolled it, as I would never get it as neat as the original roll up, which you see here. My father, was a paperhanger, by profession, and has told me this is likely a triple roll. It is 5 pounds heavy, and is 24 1/2" wide. From the 1970's. Not prepasted. Colors are metallic gold, pumpkin, warm tan, greyish tan backround texture, and a light cinnamon brown. I would measure the exact footage, if you do not mind that the re-rolled paper, may not be as neat as the photo.

18" french drop repeat. Roll is at least 24 feet long. Will happily measure it for you, if you need me to.

It is a heavy wallpaper, and will cover slightly flawed walls well, or paste right over another old smooth wallpaper. Will ship via FEDEX ground.

Offering for sale is a 1940's silk satin and black velvet hat. The hat is a lampshade shape, with a row of ivory, spice orange, and plum satin, touched with a very old rhinestone pin. The hat is made in Italy, for B ALTMAN's Co, and is size 22..but, it will fit a 23" circumference. Hat is stiff, retains its shape. About 5" tall, in the back, and 6" tall in the front. Two small spots, on the back, on the cream colored satin, see photo, and very light fading of the plum colored satin, which usually occurs with reds and purples of silk satins and velvets. Incredible piece~ a timeless art deco bracelet, that has simple lines, and elegance, with a very modern appeal. It is a mid century piece, as we purchased it from an estate.
This bracelet is solid 18K gold, and is marked on the clasp 750/ 271 Vl. It weighs 1.71 oz, or, 48.5 grams of 18K gold. It is made of 5 rows of rectangular tubes, that, I believe are solid gold, not hollow, hence, the heavy weight of the bracelet. It has light gentle scratches, from occasional wearing, which does not detract from its beauty.

The clasp is secure, and working perfectly. The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long, when closed. 5/8" wide, and 1/8" thick.

One of the better vintage handbag purse design companies, "Bienen Davis". They made velvet and leather purses, that on occasion, mimmick Roberta De Camerino styles.
When paying hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars for a vintage De Camerino, I've got the vintage look-a-like for less.

Warm brown velvet monotone purse, with leather gussets, and handle. The trim around the frame resembles tortoise shell, and the hardware, is a brilliant tone of gold.

Press the gold tab in, and pull the leather purse tab reveals a clean, heavy brown satin lining, with several well made wall pockets on one side, and a brass zippered wall pocket on the other side. Included is the original Bienen Davis faux tortoise backed mirror.

Circa 1960's. Measures about 8 1/2" wide, (9 1/2" if you include the protruding gussets)
6" tall, and 5" deep, from front to back. Handle stands up, is formed and stiff, and has no cracking or drying issues. Nice, casual or dressy purse. Looks slightly larger than it's stated size.

Gorgeous, 1920's czech glass necklace. It is made with carnelian colored glass beads (I doubt they are real carnelian.....) brass hardware, and clear crystal spacers. The deeper colored carnelian red spacer tubes are also, glass. Shines nicely, in it's cleaned, natural form. Not marked. Large beads are consistent in color, and the bottom one, is not darker than the other.

Measures 16" end to end, with a 3 1/4" double stranded drop.

Happy Vintage Red Felt Ice Skating Skirt

This skirt was right out of a 1950's attic, where the newly wed couple had stashed their youth. This was the wife's 'ICE SKATING' skirt, and wore it when she went on a skating date with her 'then boyfriend'. This skirt, is in better than excellent condition, even though it was worn, over 50 years ago, it looks unworn. No damage, no holes, no tears, no ugly smells. Some shallow areas of the felt, seems like uneven felting, or shallow moth nibbles, nothing that goes through to the other side. One small light brown spot about 1/4" diameter, on hip.. not so dark, so it really is not an 'in your face' flaw

Made of cherry red, wool felt, with a lovely folkloric embroidered 1" ribbon stitched to the hem's edge. The flowers are white, with blue centers, and the ribbon is bordered by a teeny dark blue twisted? thread. Made by DAVAGE NEW YORK, on a woven label. Hidden back metal red zipper, with a red plastic button closure at the top. About a 1 1/2" wide waist band..........FULL CIRCLE SKIRT. PLease check the following approx. measurements, to see if this skirt will fit you. Length is about 16 1/2". Waist is 24"... hips are FREE.

From an estate of a PAN AM pilot, who was flying since 1934, until he retired. He circled the globe, and came home with many unusual items. Items from his estate, will be listed with this opening sentence. I know he had flown to Thailand, and was stationed there for periods of time, as I just auctioned off his briefcase, with some airmail letters to him, addressed in Thailand. His briefcase was dated 1936.

These jeannie sandals, may very well be from Thailand, ( SIAM ), circa 1940's-1950's, Truly gorgeous shoes, that will turn any foot into the sexiest in town. These are red suede, with gold lame, and thick leather soles. There are nice, goldtone chains that drape over the front of the foot, and nice beaded and sequin touches. There are beads, and some brassy beads, that look tarnished. Some of the sequins have lost their color, but still make for a fabulous sandal. The shoes are slightly used, with only some gold lame wear, on the inside sides. The footbeds are clean, like they were never worn. Solid, and sturdy shoes, that have an exotic curled tip.

Impressed into the leather size 7, and I am a 7 1/2 wide, and these were a perfect fit. They may even fit an 8 medium.. Please compare these approximate measurements for a sure fit, to a sandal similar to what you may have at home. 10 3/4" from heel to toe tip. 3 3/4" widest bottom sole width. 1" heel, which includes the footbed and sole. Your big toe goes into the toe loop, and the star beaded motif, is attached to a separate piece of leather, that is positioned between your big toe, and second toe. The star motif drapes across the tops of your first 2 toes.

I also have these in black, and I will list them at another time. The shoes from this estate, were a nice find. Especially the ones, that the pilot brought back, for his wife, when he traveled. I also have a pair of chinese handpainted wooded platform shoes, from the mid 50's or earlier, and a pair of zebra fur thongs... These red exotic sandals are a rare find, and in excellent, undamaged condition.

Antique BOHEMIAN FRENCH BEADED LAMP

An old unusual french lamp... A rare and beautiful find. This base is marked MADE IN FRANCE. The metal is brass, heavily tarnished, and the ruby red beads are crudely faceted, possibly czech. Beads need cleaning. Some of the etched areas of brass, have white, in them, which looks to be old dried up brass polish. You can see it in the lower half of the lamp. The lamp can use a cleaning, and if desired, a polishing.

The base is deep maroon red ceramic. Turn switch working perfectly. There is an old, very old fashioned 75 watt bulb inside, which makes the whole lamp very hot, when plugged in. The bulb is very primitive. A weaker bulb is advised. To change the bulb, you unscrew the top finial, then the rest of the pieces come off easily. There, you can see the original brass color, in the threading, the old fashioned light bulb, and its interior. This measures approx. 15" tall, with a base diameter of 5". Reflects a beautiful pattern when lit, and would make a STUNNING accent light, in any bohemian home.

Ps: I currently have an energy efficient florescent bulb inside it. It is VERY romantic, when lit~

60's 3D VEGETABLE Purse

RIPENED with age, this vintage MIDAS of MIAMI purse, is a rare find. This purse, maybe used once, is in near perfect condition. These conversational purses were all handmade, and no two are alike. Popular in the 1940's and 50's, this purse is, I have to say, in excellent condition. The hardware is still shiney, with really, no tarnish to speak of, and the brass hardware, is untarnished. I did NOT have to polish a thing... The handles, are made by braided white and gold lamee leather, rolled, and sturdy. They feel great when this purse is being carried.

The applied, 3 dimensional veggies are glued onto a white painted wicker basket, that is also sprinkled with glitter. Midas of Miami commonly decorated their purses in this way. The bottom has 3 supporting feet, to keep the bottom of the purse clean. Yes, 3 feet, was the normal amount, for some of their large basket purses. The inside, is lined with green satin, has a side wall pocket, and also a brass metal zippered pocket. The lining is almost pristine, with signs of very light use. A teeny stain at the bottom, barely noticeable, for example~

LARGE in size, this purse measures about 12 1/2" across the CENTER, tapers to 10 1/2" at the bottom, and 11" at the top opening, the overlapping fitted lid measures about 12" across. From FRONT to BACK, this purse measures about 5 1/2-6" deep. The handles swivel up and down, and the turn key clasp works perfectly.

The 3 D veggies are made with satins, velvets, and chenilles, and have faded very little with time. They are still quite bright, with the exception of the velvet bow on the carrot, which has a little soling from dust. The pea pods are stiffened, and have faux pearls inside, for peas. There are pipe cleaners and yarns, used, too.

If you LOVE attention, carrying this purse at your next semi formal affair, or back yard pool party, will certainly make your evening. A perfect gift, for the GREEN THUMB in your life~

60's Lucky Cicada Pin Magenta Large

The cicada. This insect, is thought by many, to bring you luck, when worn, or displayed in your home, as many of the French believe. It is not uncommon to find cicadas in french homes, in the way of wall art, nik naks, and most importantly, jewelry. I purchased these about 8 years ago, from a dealer friend of mine, who's roots are French, and is always coming back with interesting things to sell to me. Purchased in Paris from old custom jewelry stock, this vintage french plastic cicada pin is from the 1960s, but never used, bright and clean with no damage. He has super details with nice dimension.
TThe pin is 2+3/8" long (58mm) and has simple metal pin hook on the back.

This listing is one (1) cicada, for the light magenta colored one, in the first picture, full view, in Large.
It is the bigger of the 3 sizes shown in the other photos.

Thrilled to have seen tons of European vendors showing round frames in the recent trade magazines. I've got the real deal, in genuine vintage, unused stock, for my excentric, well grounded buyers. When new round frames are costing $300 and up at eyewear boutiques, vintage frames are harder to come by, and better for you, as you are being green, by recycling unused vintage stock.

Incredible vintage frames, with a faux wood grain appeal. Made in USA by VICTORY, these are striking, large 360 degree rounds. Matte finish, tonal tan with brown wood grain lines. Sturdy 5 barrel hinges, and a pair of little brass stars wherever the frame meets the hinge hardware.

Victorian Soap Dish

Offering for sale is a chamber's soap dish. Circa early 1900's. This was part of a set, that came with a bowl, pitcher, and chamber pot. I have all the pieces, selling separately in my Etsy Shop, because I was never able to salvage to water bowl, I never found the cup, and so, I could not sell this as a complete set. A beautiful soap dish, with drying rack, with a young grass green boarder, on a semi white background. It has 4 gold sprig motifs, done in metallic gold, and it is not worn anywear, which tells me this dish was barely used. There are 2 shallow surface chips, on the glaze, very small, and do not detract from the beauty, and its display. The bottom has a few old teeny chips.

This piece was made by SMITHS PHILLIPS CHINA CO. Founded in 1901, by Josiah T. Smith, and W.H. Phillips, they produced semi porcelain dinnerware, and other items, until 1931. They operated out of West Liverpool, OHIO. The pattern is called "EMPRESS". This soap dish measures about 5 1/2" wide, about 2 1/4" tall, and about 17 1/2" around, in circumfirence. It weighs about 1 1/4 pounds, UNBOXED, violets not included.

A victorian chamber pot. Circa early 1900's. This was part of a set, that came with a bowl, pitcher, and soap dish. Circa early 1950's- CRAZY FOR PANSIES! A fun. vintage purse, by MIDAS of MIAMI~! This bag manufacturer was known for their one of a kind whimsical purses, made in the early 50's to early 1960's. Each one being hand decorated, this one, is in mint condition. Unused, pristine, inside and out. Even the brass hardware is shiney, and untarnished. Lined in PURPLE satin, braided gold and white leather handles, 2 tone white and gold leather strap turnkey closure, and 2 tone leather hinges in the back. 3 little brass feet underneath.... Decorated with flocked velvet layered pansies, glitter, faux gems, leaves, and buds, in yellows, purples, and lots and lots of different greens. Measures about 11" wide, 8" high, and 5" deep, from front to back. It's a big beauty, you won't be disappointed~

This adorable cotton print, is from the 1940's. Roller printed. The condition is clean, unfaded. It has been sewn into a long, rectangular panel, hemmed at each selvage (1" hem at one side, and 3/4" hem at the other) and there are rod pockets...one is 2" and the other is 2 1/2", including the sewing hem.
Kelly green, yellow, tan, and black.

This piece measures 49" wide by 30 1/2" high.
Each square measures 10mm square, (3/8" square).
Tight weave, many threads per inch.
Great for print inspiration, or a curtain~

This adorable stylized bow print, is from the 1940's. Probably a dye and discharge roller print. The condition is clean, unfaded. Kelly green, black, and off white. Very thin, and sheer, when held up to the window. Though, when you put the fabric in your lap, and try to see your hand under it, you can't.

Each piece is approx. 26"x38" (selvage to selvage is 38")

10" in diameter, 1 1/4" tall, measured off the table. Aqua green, tones of olive, and olive brown, and some black accents along the outer rims.....cable patterned and very textured. Bottom pedestal, has a small chip, you can see it in the photo. Otherwise, makes a fabulous displayed piece, and goes well with aqua and green vintage pieces, against a brown/taupe wall.

Handsome, large, high end vintage designer purse, by INGBER.......any vintage fashionista, knows, INGBER made some of the best purses in the mid 50s. This faux fur, is the better quality fur, for mimicking the jaquar skin. If you weren't told it was fake, you would almost have to feel it for yourself, to see that it is. Jaguar pattern is on both sides. This purse, is in excellent condition, though, has been gently used. The outside is clean, no damage to the fur, only 2 small pin dots in the vinyl frame. please see photo, and a blotch of something, that you cannot wipe off. Don't know what it is. Frame closes perfectly. Frame and kisslock, made of heavy duty metal, is tarnished, or can I just say, the finish is worn. The inside is lined with black faille, clean, with a nicely trimmed gold lame pocket, and a brass zippered pocket as well. The fur color, is a dark tan, (which looks lighter in the photos, because of the flash), light brown, and black. A unique shape, a must have, for any fall season. As it seems, spotted prints NEVER go out of style.

This purse measures 13" across its widest part, tapering to 11" wide at the bottom, and tapering to 7-8" along the top. 5" deep, from front to back. 10" tall, not including the large kisslock, and handle. The handle offers a 6 1/2" drop. Black trim, frame, and handle are not leather. Unusual, certainly not your common, everyday kelly~ grab her while she's here. When the real ones cost thousands, this is vintage, one of a kind, at its best.

Nice pair of vintage SAKS FIFTH AVENUE black leather shoes, with leopard printed calves or pony fur tops. Nice golden buckles cross over the front, in excellent condition. These are marked a vintage size 7B, which may run small compared to today's size 7. Do your homework, and compare these approximate measurements, to a pair similar at home for a sure fit. Inside heel to toe measures 10", and bottom widest width on sole is 3". Outer sole is leather. Heels are 2" high, and barely worn.

So, you weren't born with a silver spoon in your mouth...... Fake it with these rich lookin' vintage slippers...Nice, royal looking velvet slippers, with gold metallic embroidery. They are padded, comfy, and have suede soles. Gently worn, and very clean, these were made by Jacques Levine. Labeled a size 9, but they are from the 60's and they do run small, more like a modern day 8. Bottom sole measures 10.5" long, 3 1/4" widest sole part, and no heel.

GREEN BAKELITE Triangle Buttons

Nice bunch of early triangular BAKELITE buttons, measuring about 5/8" on each side, and a hair less than 3/16" thick. They are in very good condition. Color is a soft moss green, though when held to the light, they look like lime green.

Tested positive with Simichrome polish. The button on the right has teeny scratches ar 2 corners, and when looked under a loop, these scratches are filled in with a coppery metallic color. I could not get them clean. The button in the middle has a very very slight rough edge, and the button on the left has a dark corner, caused by faint teeny scratches. So, these are not perfect, but they are still nice, and would look great dispite these flaws. The backs of these buttons are flat.

Simple, vintage needlepoint of a woman, in a victorian/georgian gown. In excellent, frameable condition, or perfect for a victorian chair seat. The background is a soft teal blue, with deep rose, med rose, and pale pinks, some lighter blues, in cast with the background, and brown and greens for the leaves and vines. Black shoes. I have straightened the canvas, for the photo, but when you have it framed, you will have to have it re-stretched straight again. As you know, this is a typical characteristic of unframed needlepoints.

The worked area measures 11 3/8" across by 12 1/4" long, approx.

Clean, and ready for use.

Very unique, and never seen before, a victorian era accordion padded hankie keeper box. It is in excellent condition, showing no wear, and only 2 VERY light small stains on the top. It is a sturdy, well made box, lined in soft celery green, and ivory moire fabric, and the inner lid is lined with gold metallic lace, or fabric, and the top and bottom, is trimmed with gold metallic lace, or fine trim. The top and bottom fabric, is a tan tapestry with a white and green woven twig design. The top has a handle, and there is a very nice brass lock on the front.

The box includes the original embroidered handkerchiefs, that were in this box, when I purchased this. The handkerchiefs are very clean, with only some light edge darkening, if you can call it that, and can be soaked to white, with OXICLEAN, if you like. The handkerchiefs are in excellent condition, with no damage or holes. There are 10 hankies, only 2 of the designs are duplicates. The embroidery and cut out work on each one, is unique, that must be appreciated and admired . The box expands to 2", and can fit many more hankies. This measures about 7 1/4" square. Nice, antique piece for storing ONLY your PRIZED hankies.

Gorgeous, couture quality trench coat, circa early 1960's, made for BONWIT TELLER, by LAWRENCE of LONDON. Water resistant SILK, inside and outside. This coat is deep navy blue, on the outside, and the inside is fabulously striped in fuchsia, purple, bright navy and white.. Handmade buttonholes, deep side pockets, and a nice, rounded collar, that has 2 large cloth covered buttons, bound buttonholes, and a self attached sash, that ties in the front, to cover the buttons, if you want. Large billowy full sized hood. Easy, stylish, certainly high end, as only BONWIT TELLER would have sold. This coat is in pristine, clean condition. Would look perfect on a gal, 5 foot 2".....anybody taller, may have to pay attention to the sleeve length.

Here are some measurements, for a sure fit. LIKE A MODERN DAY LARGE, or size 10-12ish. Dolman sleeve. No definitive shoulder span. Sleeve length is measured from back of neck, to cuff, and comes in at about 29-30". Armpit to armpit is about 23" and will fit upto a 40" bust very comfortably. Waist and hips are free, as this has a VERY slight 'A' line shape. Length of coat from back of neck to hem is 44". If you need anymore measurements, please email me. Worn open over jeans and your favorite boots, swaying behing you as you walk, or closed, either way, a truly classic, beautiful coat. You won't be disappointed.

1960s ASIAN CHINESE LIGHT BLUE SATIN CHEONG-SAM DRESS

Offering up for sale, is one of many vintage cheongsam custom made dresses I acquired. I STARTED with 40, and I have about 6 left. This dress is made of a clean, light blue satin twill acetate. The fabric has got 2tone blue/silvery white jacquard leaves and flowers, scattered throughout the dress. There are silver metal snaps, and a hand sewn metal zipper, up the side of the dress. Nicely finished collar. Hand finished side vents of about 9.5" long. The dress is in excellent, clean condition, (looks unworn) ready to wear out of the package. Just needs a little ironing~ These dresses were all custom made, by a tailor, for the same woman.

It is a vintage size S, which, will fit a bust circumference of 32-33" maximum. (ACTUAL ARMPIT TO ARMPIT IS about 16.5", and there are bust darts. I recommend a 32" bust, so the fabric does not pull up at the snaps. If your measurements are larger than the ones I have just stated, this dress will be tight. This dress did not fit on my mannequin, where most of my cheong-sam dresses were photographed, this dress narrowed after the hips, just a bit too tight for my mannequin to squeeze into.

The length of this dress is about 40" long, measured from back of the neck, to hem. Hips measure about 16.5" side to side, thus fitting 33" hips. Waist measures about 11.5" flat, and will fit a 23" waist, shoulder span is 14.5", with 4 1/4" cap sleeves.
