Creating beautiful jewelry is almost like writing a memoir! I've used a floral brass focal point and enhanced it with swarovski pearls in almond. Raw brass chain holds everything together in this design. I've added raw brass chain the drop for some added whimsy. The clasp is a brass S hook. This design is reminiscent of the type of jewelry worn by the Malays in the era of my great grandmother. I've added my twist on it by using faceted London Blue Quartz and shell pearls and finished it with a dragonfly toggle. I've used 3 brass connectors that are connected to each other using brass chains and a different type of brass chain to connect to the clasp. This type of necklaces were usually worn with a traditional dress called the Baju Kurung. Length 21 in, length of the focal piece is approx 6 in.
