Ancient Relic

This component is one of my new favorites both for it's versatility in design and for the spontaneous way it was created.

It measures 25mm in diameter with a 5mm hole. It's cast in lead free pewter in my home studio.

When first designing I made an intricate focal bead that when cast in pewter was so heavy it was impractical for everyday wear. For years it sat unappreciated.
Recently, I took this newbie mistake and revisited it with a different eye, pouring hot metal into one side of the donut bead creating an ancient looking focal piece.

It's really satisfying to turn a failed attempt on it's head and fall in love with the result.

Really, you should try it sometime.

This Bubble Link has been hand sculpted and hand cast in my home studio from fine lead free pewter. It measures 31mm long by 16mm wide. There are two holes, each with a 3mm inside diameter.

This link can be used in a drop fashion for a focal pendant or connected at both ends in the middle of a bracelet or necklace. It is also light enough for a pair of extravagant earrings.

It's uses are as endless as the frothy seas!

Created without a stamped image, this design was completely hand sculpted from a sketch. It is cast in lead free pewter, and measures one inch from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant.

Yes, this is the key.

I have a favorite key.
I have had it since I was a girl.
I don't know what it opens, except my imagination.
I cast it in lead free pewter.
I banged it up and scuffed it.
It looks like it's been forever stuck beneath the floor.
I love it.

This key measures 1 & 1/4" long by 1/2" (29mm x 13mm)wide at the top.

Because I distress the key after it is cast and before it is polished, it is also available in a smooth and shiny version. If this is what you are looking for, please let me know in the notes to seller.
