Little Miss Gwendolyn Marie - Handmade Rag Doll

This is an Original, Handmade by me Rag Doll, affectionately named Gwendolyn Marie after one of my grandmother's. Features vintage hand sewn-on button eyes, pursed sewn red lips and hand painted pink blush. She is wearing a brightly colored Pink Calico Block Print Dress, with a pocket and has been lovingly stuffed with poly-fill. She has been made with both machine and hand stitching. Her hair was hand-sewn out of crochet yarn. 15".

This new line of dolls we are calling "Shades of Humanity" Not everyone fits the Barbie Mold - so as we look around our world with the help of many of our friends we will be intruducing dolls in all shades, shapes and sizes. All the dolls will come with the story of their origin and their names which come from loved ones in our lives.

Please give Gwendolyn Marie a good home where she will be on display or have a playmate as she gets mighty lonely. Even though this particular Dorothy is OOAK we will be offering different styles & outfits in the future.

Also if you like her, but wish her to be in different color clothes or skin tone, convo me and I will be glad to make one special for you! At this time all of our doll clothing is non-removable, however we hope to offer this style in the future as fashion is so fun!

I think this doll would be great for display in a country kitchen, but she would also be appropriate for children, however, please be aware that her button eyes are quite small and even though they are sewn really well, could cause a choking hazard for a very small child!

Little Miss Madgie May - Handmade Dark Skinned Ragdoll

This is an Original, Handmade by me Rag Doll, affectionately named Madgie May after my husband's childhood care giver. Features vintage hand sewn-on button eyes, pursed sewn red lips and hand painted purple blush. She is wearing a brightly colored Orange Calico Floral Dress, with a matching Green Apron and has been lovingly stuffed with poly-fill. She has been made with both machine and hand stitching. Her hair was hand-braided out of crochet yarn and tied back with scrap material. 15".

This new line of dolls we are calling "Shades of Humanity" were inspired by a friend's daughter who was frustrated that in the store there weren't any dolls that looked "like her", although there are dolls of color on the market they are all very much the same and all have the "good hair" and bland middle of the road color and not everyone fits this mold - so as we look around our world with the help of many of our friends we will be intruducing dolls in all shades, shapes and sizes. All the dolls will come with the story of their origin and their names which come from loved ones in our lives.

This is a very primitive, rustic Christmas Stocking.

As yarn lots vary, finished product may differ slightly from photos!

It is made with Christmas Red and Hunter Green and Trimed in Christmas White Yarn.

It has been lovingly hand crocheted using my own pattern.

It is very sturdy and has a large opening to accomadate lots of goodies!

As always with my items it has been was with DREFT to ensure softness and no shrinkage, fading or dissasembly!

It has been crocheted using a Chocolate Brown yarn. These beautiful blankets are a perfect gift for a new born that is durable, yet soft. It is a practical gift that can be used daily and become an heirloom later on.

Approx. measurements are 32" x 32".

No babies were hurt during the making of these blankets, also thier parents ask that I emphasize the fact that the babies are not included, and that babies shown are family members who LOVE their AUNTIE's Blankies!

This is a small but cute purse that has been hand-crocheted by me with 100% high-quality accrylic yarn that is made from recycled water bottles. It is similiar to the envelope bag, but has a straight flap instead of a triangular one! It has been crocheted using a Camoflouge type yarn. The strap is thicker than the small envelope bag and slightly longer!

I am new to ETSY but have been crocheting for years and know you will be happy, if not I will make it right!
