Made from luscious blackberry coloured taffeta, OPERA wrist cuff is laden with sparkling beads, latte coloured wandering stitches and a seductive ruffled edge.

This co-ordinates perfectly with the OPERA Ruffled Collar/Necklace, if you fancy glittering the night away! Both items are made from the same fabric - you can appreciate from the photographs the way that different lighting affects the overall colour and 'mood' of the material.
In strong sunlight, the predominant colour is aubergine whilst in natural indoor light, the colour ranges from reddish plum through purple to aubergine. Under electric light, the colours alter with movement and strength of light.

The blackberry taffeta is offset perfectly by the latte stitching, and is lined with a beautifully contrasting rusty red two-tone synthetic fabric.

OPERA fastens with a single large dark mock tortoiseshell button, and will comfortably fit wrists up to 7 1/2" (19.5 cms)approximately.

A ruffle of grandeur, OPERA is a textile necklace that is both sumptuous and deliciously coloured.

Made from blackberry shot with pink taffeta, the ruffle is cinched and sewn onto a latte coloured velvet ribbon, and decoratively edged in a matching latte shade of thread. A showering of glass and acrylic beads in shades of grey, purple and pink adds sparkle, texture and detail.

Extremely feminine and eye-catching, OPERA fastens with a lobster claw clasp and small extender chain, finished with a milky white glass nugget with coppery undertones.

In luscious shades of dark turquoise and glimmering copper, the Hydra Brooch is reminiscent of a sea anemone, floating in the ocean.

Little fronds are formed around the circumference using the tufted selvedge of taffeta. The main fabric of the brooch is edged with a wealth of machine freeform embroidery in metallic copper. Multicoloured freemotion embroidery adds detail to draw you in for a closer look, enhanced with little bronze and bright blue beads.

An additional textile layer creates a highlight in the centre, which is embroidered by hand with large french knots. More beads add to the textured finish, with a sparkling faceted old gold bead placed off centre, to twinkle in the light.

Measuring 3 1/2" (9cms) at its widest, the brooch is backed with co-ordinating turquoise felt, and a silver tone brooch back.

Celebrate the change of seasons with this colourful addition to your wardrobe.

Flora is made up of layer upon layer of silk, taffeta, organza and felt to form a precious, jewel-like pendant topped with a collage of lime green silk petals to form a floral motif. A flourish of contrasting beads add interest and definition.

This pendant will grow with you...the edges are intentionally left raw to age gently with wear. However, several rows of stitching prevent excessive fraying.

Flora comes complete with a deep red corded necklace that is finished with contrasting orange thread to match the pendant.
The pendant measures 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" (4.7 x 6 cms) excluding bail. The corded necklace measures 17.5" (45cms) approximately.

Let me count the ways....actually, I've lost count! There are SO many ways to wear this cowl, you'll have fun finding out which is your favourite!

Venezia is completely reversible - inky blueblack and soft grey stripes on one side, and pale, embroidered amethyst shimmering taffeta on the other. Wear it whichever way to suit your mood! Twist it, flip it upside down, fold it over or wear it up for added warmth.

There are two buttons on each side, which enables you to fasten this cowl in numerous ways - use them funtionally, as added detail or hide them away.

Venezia is lightly interfaced, adding a little extra support and cosiness. Gentle sponge cleaning is advised.

Weddings are in the air! Here is the perfect textile accessory for that special day - but why save it for special occasions?

A piece of textile art for you to wear, Rochester is created with silk, taffeta and organza. Lined with silver grey silk, it is lightweight, silky smooth and comfortable to wear.

A white silk embroidered with silver thread forms the subtle backdrop for little taffeta floral blooms in dove grey and charcoal, embellished with coffee coloured velvet trim and a sprinkling of glass, AB and bugle beads.
I have trailed machine stitches across dove grey taffeta, and pleated it to form a feminine ruffle along the lower edge, and added a foil of silver silk in a gentle ruffle alongside it. Threads of grey organza shimmer along the top edge of the collar.

Rochester fastens via corded silver silk loops and a single large button embellished with two black faceted beads. The fastened length is 38cms (15").

Rochester originally had a co-ordinating wrist cuff to complement it, however this has since sold. Should you fancy owning a similar (although not identical) cuff, please get in touch - I would be happy to oblige!

Elven Pebble taffeta and silk pendant is embellished with textiles, stitches and faceted beads - reminiscent of lichen, moss and dewdrops that adorn stones plucked from the forest floor.

A corded olive green taffeta necklace carries the pebble, closes with a creamy button and loop fastening and measures 17 1/2" (44.5 cms). The pebble has a lightly padded feel, due to the many layers of fabrics that have been stitched together. It measures 3" (8 cms) wide by 2 1/2" (6 cms) high, excluding bail, approximately.

This choker evolved from my desire to play with pretty things - nothing beats dipping your fingers into a box of sparkly treats, enjoying the gentle tinkle as they waterfall around each other...the tingle of excitement as you extract the perfect bead for the place that needs just a little something! Ah, the simple pleasures in life...

After constructing a recycled textile base, I randomly apply fabric patches. I then freeform embroider the length of the choker until I'm ready to go wild with buttons and beads - the best bit!

The choker is encrusted with more than fifty glorious, carefully selected embellishments - all chosen for their luminosity, sparkle and character. Some are brand spanking new; many come from my mother-in-law's stash of old buttons or are re-used vintage beauties, and more still are rescued from cast-off jewellery.

Wear the Choker of Beauty to glam up a plain t-shirt, or create a focal point for a formal outfit or wedding dress - or simply wear it because you love it!

The choker's fabric band measures 2'' (5cms) in height, and 16.5'' (42cms) in circumference when fastened. Two buttons secure the choker closed.

Printed fabric pieces depict golden seed heads, embellished with glass seed and faceted beads. The central feature is a solitary leaf, drawn into with freemotion embroidery, highlighted with sparkling beads and decorated with a vintage mother of pearl button.

The fabric sections are like seeds floating on the wind, suspended as they are amongst a wealth of stitches that loop and criss-cross the surface, forming a lace-like structure.

The necklace fastens via a screw clasp, which is finished with polished stone chips.

A metallic copper, densely freemotion embroidered edge acts like a frame for the intricacies of hand embroidery, sparkling beads and unusual colours that are contained within.
Textures abound, with the inclusion of fibre applique, taffeta ruffles, french knots, metallic copper stitching and a wealth of glass beads.
