This blown glass sculpture has a rich burgundy swirl with some neat bubbles trapped inside. He's going on 30 years old now, which I think is a bit older than a regular snail.

Vintage Shabby Chic!

Carved wooden candle holder. Hole for candle is approximately 1" in diameter and 3" deep. The entire piece is approximately 3" in diameter and 8" tall. The bottom has a piece of felt so it can be placed on any delicate surface.

Hand carved from wood, old man face is etched into the bark of this natural log candle holder. It is very ornate and beautiful.

This is a vintage item in immaculate condition. It has never been used. Several artisans create this same type of Old Man carving in tree bark currently, but this is definitely an older piece as I remember it being around when I was a youngster. And despite its age, it looks brand new, since it's just basically sat in our China Cabinet for years. I hope it can go on to a good home who can enjoy the lovely glow of candlelight from this charming handcrafted piece of art. Please convo me if you have any questions.

This darling table runner (well, that's what I think it is, I'm sure it could be used for any number of things) is in great vintage shape. I don't believe it's ever been used, but it does have some slight discolorations due to storage, as noted in the photos (and it does not smell).

It is hand embroidered with a cute deer pulling a wagon with flowers and a giant apple. Actually, I think what I first thought was a giant apple is just the hood part of the wagon. The outside is embellished with hand sewn lace. I can only imagine the time that went into creating this lovely piece! Gosh, it really is too cute.

Set of 12 vintage fabric napkins.

Originally from Demery's of Detroit, still with original price tags with the sweet price of 49 cents (I just noticed one of the tags, when I was looking for something to tell the material, and it's pinned on with a straight pin, so watch out).

These have never been used, but they do show their age. In the montage of photos I show some of the stains, just from storage or whatever. They don't smell. I haven't washed or ironed them, just because I thought I'd let them remain in their antique state until someone might want to use them.

These could be used for actual table napkins, or could be used for fabric in making a quilt or skirt or anything else you could imagine.

Small replica of the famous Thinker sculpture by Rodin.

Nice piece of art. Could also be used as a paper weight (he weighs slightly over 1 lb). There is a piece of velvet felt at the bottom to protect any surface he is on.

He was found in a roadside antique shop in upstate New York, during a pit-stop we made in our road trip from Vermont to Michigan. I don't know the age of this statue, but I've always loved fine art, and what's finer than The Thinker himself? That same voyage we also bought some strawberries from an Amish gentleman with his horse and buggy.

This delicate doll has porcelain arms, legs, and head, with bendable wire inside its stuffed body so it can be positioned for standing or sitting. Painted black high heels contrast the stark white of this doll's porcelain white 'flesh,' and detailed hand painted facial features, including a red heart on the cheek, make this quite a distinguished figurine. Approximately 8" in length.

This is a beautiful hand-carved and hand-painted wooden sculpture straight out of Mexico. On the bottom it reads: San Martin Toxpalan, Oaxaca, Mexico. Elvis Castillo Lezama.

The details and colors on this sculpture are so wonderful! Oaxacan wood art sculptures are a beautiful example of Mexican folk art, and are a fine addition to any art collection.

This is a vintage item as it is from my mother's traveling days, but it is still in wonderful condition. It looks like one of the wings had a slight repair job at the base, but it is hardly noticeable only if you were to look for it. Oh, and now that I look more closely, I see that the same is true for one of the 'ears' or whatever that part may be. But that could have just been how this creature was made. In grade school, we'd make sand art pictures. I forget if it was contact paper we used, where we'd cut away different areas we wanted sand to fall, brush it off, then repeat the process with a new sticky area until we had a magnificent piece of sand art. There's also the all-time favorite carnival sand art bottles to make, where you pour in layer by layer different colors. You can make things fancy with pressing a pencil or something in there to create zig-zag designs, or pour more sand to one side and then the other to create mountainous visual effects.

Hand embroidered pillow, with alternate sides. On one side there is a female resting at a well, and the other is a male resting against a wall. This is a vintage item, so it may have a slight discoloration here and there, but it is in great condition otherwise.

My mom embroidered this back in the 70's I believe. I've seen this same Mexican pattern around elsewhere, so perhaps you already have some similar embroidered pieces and would like to add to your collection, or perhaps start a new one. It also compliments many other decors.

Approximate measurements: 12" x 12" x 4".

What a sweet pair. A boy and his dog. A dog and his boy. This is a vintage/antique ceramic sculpture, made in Japan.

It measures 5.5" tall, 3" wide, and 5" long.

This is a delicate/breakable item, so I don't suggest kids play with it--it is meant to be a decorative item to be enjoyed on a shelf or in a china cabinet. You can pet the dog, though. The kid too, if you really want. They're both very smooth, as the glaze is nice and shiny.

I do not know the date this figurine was manufactured, but it was originally purchased by my mom in the mid 80's from an antique shop in Western Vermont. There are no chips, scratches or damaging marks: it is in perfect condition, always having been stored in our China Cabinet.

Shipping insurance is included because of the delicate nature of this sculpture.

Verdigris Vase with a Grecian Twist - Anituque Art Collectable

This is a breathtaking verdigris-colored vase, decorated with sculpted grape vine embellishments.

The actual date of manufacturing of this vase is unknown, but it is estimated to be from the mid 1970's. So, it's nothing Cesar dined with, but it certainly has global rustic charm. This vase is in great condition, and is meant to have an older/antiquities look to it.

Because it is metal with a suspected painted patina, I'm not so sure how well it would hold up to fresh cut flowers in water (the vase or the flowers themselves). The best bet is to feature this vase as a decorate art object. You could even put it on a pedestal or in a glass case and let others believe you collect ancient vessel artifacts!
