Mina Illustration - Wire Wrapped Charm Pendant

This unique plastic antique silver disc charm was made from random scrapbook materials found in my studio that were destined to be discarded. The disc measures 0.625" round. And is approximately 1.25" tall with jump ring.

The portrait of "Mina" can be worn as a pendant or bracelet charm. Inside the one-sides disc is a reproduction print of one of my original digital illustrations. The illustration is covered with a 0.5" clear acrylic disc. The disc is wire wrapped with silver wire and includes a silver jump ring. Does not include a chain or bracelet.

Please note that each piece is made entirely by hand and may vary slightly from the photo.

Paying homage to Robert Crawford, the poet. Here are some lines from "The Scottish Emigrant". I took these lines out of the context of the rest of poem to make my own meaning and illustration.

O'er the misty Cumbraes, rising red,
The moon, great with romance, rears up its head,
Ye hills, Ye moors, ye pockets of dark fir,
Where the blue nights come up with little stir."

Size: This is a 10.125" x 5.1875 reproduction printed on 8.5" x 11" paper. Printed on Kodak Premium Photo Paper with archival inks. Thickness: 53 lbs. Finish: Matte.

Ailbhe, in Gaelic, means "white" or "brightness". In my mind, it's the perfect name for a girl who didn't make it to 100% opacity in Photoshop. I combined an old painting and a Moleskine pencil and Copic marker sketch to create a brand new digital illustration.

Size: 8.5 x 11 inches. Printed on Kodak Premium Photo Paper with archival inks. Thickness: 53 lbs. Finish: Matte.

Her cute beehive hat and moveable articulated arms are sculpted from paper clay.

This miniature wooden peg is a one-of-a-kind art doll with a meticulously drawn face illustration. The girl is sketched onto the wood with pencil, ink and Copic markers. Signed and dated by the artist. Protected by a semi-gloss varnish. She is approximately 2.5" tall with beehive.

Sir Foster, one of the great heroes in the Arthurian legend, left his castle in Cardueil, with only a sword, lance and shield. Travelling through the forest, he soon became lost when the light began to fade. In the clearing near the road, he noticed a beautiful maiden. He exchanged greetings with Lady Nelaine, who offered him the hospitality of her castle if he would accompany her through the woods in the darkness.

TITLE: "The Pied Piper's Song"

STORY: In this romantic medieval hamlet, the deer was led down the snowy forest path by a merry tune and a icy rainbow filled with treats. The illustration includes Kawaii cute characters-- a fawn, ice cream, cupcake pudding, and toast.

DESCRIPTION: This is a multi-layer cut paper sculpture assemblage in a glass-fronted shadowbox frame. The Strathmore Bristol paper was cut from an original pencil illustration to make the assemblage. No color or ink has been added. Sealed with a matte fixative to protect the drawings from smudging and damaging UV rays. This is an original artwork, signed and dated on the front and titled on the back. Ready to be hung.

Faerie Queen - Soldered Glass Pendant

Soldered Glass Pendant Necklace or Charm.

One of three Faerie Queens, who ferried the mortally wounded King Arthur in their Moonboat through the mists to the sacred isle of Avalon. Photoshop illustration. Wood burned tree illustration on the back.

The pendant features a print of the original illustration on archival paper. The image is placed between two pieces of glass. Soldered with Silvergleem lead free silver solder. The glass measures 3/4" x 3/4". It is securely sealed but not waterproof. Does not come with chain.

The glass pendant features a print of the original illustration on archival paper. The image is placed between two pieces of glass. Soldered with Silvergleem lead free silver solder. The glass measures 3/4" x 3/4". It is securely sealed but it is not waterproof.

Does not include necklace.

Pied Piper Resin Charm Bracelet

This one-of-a-kind resin cube charm bracelet features an original pencil illustration of a Kawaii cute character -- a handrawn fawn -- embedded inside. The character is from the "The Pied Piper's Song" story I created where a deer was led down the snowy forest path by a merry tune and a icy rainbow filled with treats.

Bracelet is made of White Pearlescent Miyuki teardrop fringe beads. Fringe Beads are beads with holes running across the top of the bead in the shape of raindrops. Bracelet wrist measures approximately 7.5". Sterling silver toggle clasp. The rectangular resin cube measures 1.5".

This is a one-of-a-kind miniature art doll made of handpainted beads. Inspired by the solid wood Japanese Kokeshi dolls. This bracelet is made up of 2 round wooden beads. The beads are 1 inch in size. Protected by a shiny clear glaze varnish. The bracelet is made with 1mm clear stretch cord and pink Czech glass teardrop beads and silver bead caps.

Please note that the piece is not waterproof and although it's well-sealed, it should be handled with care. It is not a toy intended for children.

Pulp Comic Resin Cube Bracelet

This one-of-a-kind resin cube bracelet features vintage pulp teenage romance art from the golden age of comic books embedded into resin. The ‘Good Girl’ covers as they were called, usually featured smart women who might fall into precarious positions.

This is the last issue of Junior with an Al Feldstein "headlight" cover. Junior 16, 1948.

Silver toggle clasp. The square resin cube measures 1.25". We like the bubbles and streaks in the resin as they almost give this piece an vintage handmade artifact kind of vibe.

The illustration is printed on archival paper and then embedded in resin.

Little Bo Peep's Sheep - Illustration on Wood Plaque

Little Bo Peep is the famously ineffective shepherdess who takes a laissez-faire attitude toward her lost sheep. She is worried about them, but decides to let them come home on their own rather than trying to find them.

This is an original miniature pencil illustration and oil painting on a 3" x 2" piece of soft wood plaque. Very light and airy piece. Protected by a high gloss varnish first and then coated with resin for a shiny, smooth finish. The pendant includes a sterling silver ball chain necklace.
