They are edged with a fuzzy jet black yarn on each end of the glove. Because of the unique nature of the yarn, color varies slightly on each glove with hints of mauves. browns, and maroons.

I made this scarf with one of my favorite yarns- a luxurious, thick blend of wool, acrylic and rayon in very unique color combination reminiscent of the sea. The scarf changes color from a sea foam green, to sandy brown, to misty blue.

Cuddle up in this unique scarf next time you're on a walk or hike- it has a small pocket attached to each end, perfect for stashing your keys, bank cards, cell phone, or more importantly the treasures you might find while out in nature! The neutral colors in this scarf are great for both men and women.

This scarf is made generously long; over 7 feet/2.15m, not including the 6"/15cm of fringe on each end. Measures 5"/13cm wide, pockets are 3 1/2"/9cm wide and 3"/7.5cm wide.

Evergreen re-slippers/socks made with upcycled vegan yarn

These comfy slippers are made from recycled yarn that was a sweater in it's past life. I carefully unwind it, clean the yarn, and use it to make these sturdy slippers. The yarn is an cotton/acrylic blend featuring a lovely pine green with snowy bits of white blended in. The toes feature a second strand of mossy green yarn. These made a perfect gift for those with wool allergies or who are vegan.

I use only clean high-quality, recycled yarn for the production of many of my products. Many knit items that would normally be disposed of can be unraveled for their yarns!

Just right for lounging around the house or cabin this winter; wear them alone or with a pair of socks underneath for extra warmth. These are made to fit women's size medium (around US size 6-9 feet) with plenty of stretch for all different shaped feet.

They Measure approximately 9"/22cm long, 3.5"/9cm high at tallest part. After a few wears, they will start to conform to your unique foot shape. These can also be made in other colors/sizes- please convo me for info or see my slipper section for more ready-mades:

Loose fitting and comfy, with bits of yellow, purple, blue, green, brown, and grey are mixed together in different pairings to create 5 different color stripes. Some yarns are fuzzy, others are smooth; many are preloved yarns, rescued from a doomed fate, renewed and given new life in this great hat!

My newest line of housewares using upcycled fabric! Go eco in style!!

This cute little trivet/pot holder/hot pad was lovingly made by me with strips of clean, upcycled fabrics. Each trivet uses up to a yard of fabric. I then crochet them into these super sturdy trivets- perfect for protecting surfaces from hot dishes, pots and pans; great for your next indoor/outdoor picnic, potluck or tea party.

This one features a pretty indigo & sapphire blue print, with tiny streaks of lavender and slate in 100% cotton. Made with a loop, so it's perfect for hanging and easily grabbing when you need it.

These also make super-unique wall hangings, pair up a few for a unique look in your kitchen!

Wooly Mammoth naturally grey corespun yarn

I handspun this local, naturally grey farm wool on my Ashford traditional spinning wheel. It was done using a fairly new technique in the spinning world- corespinning. The fleece is spun around a base core fibre (in this case a bright red polyester-wool strand); making it possible for the yarn to be spun on a diagonal, as well as making an extremely strong yarn.

This yarn has no dye but instead comes from a naturally grey romney sheep. It was produced and processed less than 200 km away from my home. It is fuzzy, curly, and full of depth- the corespinning shows of the range of colors in the fleece- from a jet black to a charcoal grey. Hints of the red core strand peek through once in a while. Not quite as soft as say, a merino, this yarn may be best suited to a crafting project or weaving.

Just over 45 yards/41 meters of wooly handspun goodness!

Handwash only, let air dry.

A simply beautiful skein of yarn!

I hand-painted the pure soft & squishy merino wool fleece for this yarn with eco-friendly dyes. Features beautiful shades of purple, blue, pinks, oranges, and creamy whites.. and so many variations in between. Pictures do not do justice on this one!

It was done using a fairly new technique in the spinning world- corespinning. The fleece is spun around a base core fibre (in this case cotton); making it possible for the yarn to be spun on a diagonal, as well as making an extremely strong yarn. Corespun yarns are great for showing off hand painted fleeces.

You get over 53 yards/48m of original handspun, hand-painted art yarn. Spun Bulky weight; use 5.5 - 8mm knitting needles, or 6.5 - 9mm crochet hook. Inclues lots of texture, thick to thin, bumpy, lumpy, and lush! Would make a great hat or neckwarmer. Cosmic Loop scarf- with Felted and Handspun yarns

This was so much fun to create- and I bet you'll have lots of fun wearing it!

First I crocheted the loop scarf with 100% wool, from our local mill in Alberta. I hand-embellished the edges with funky little sprouts. Then I wet-felted it, creating a thick, dense and lushly soft textile. I added colorful wooden, glass, and plastic beads from my bead collection. And finally I tied on tendrils of my own handspun merino-silk yarn.

With so so so many ways to wear it, it this is definately a one of a kind accessory that will make you & your outfit stand out. You can wrap it around 1 or 2 times like a scarf, or 3 or 4 times to make it more like a cowl. Loop it together, tie it, wrap it around... Loop scarves are super (multi) functional & adaptable!

The weather is changing, why not stay warm in a cosy handmade scarf? I made this scarf with one of my favorite yarns- a luxurious, drapey soy silk & acrylic. Soy silk is a byproduct of tofu making! This scarf contains no wool or animal products for those who are vegan or who have allergies.

Features beautiful crocheted stripes of baby blue and winter white, with a lush baby blue fringe on each end.

This scarf is made generously long; over 5' and 5.00" including the fringe on each end. Measures 5"/13cm wide.

Handwash in a mild soap with lukewarm water, and lie flat to dry.

Hand-made with love with a combination of yarns: upcycled wool and handspun and hand dyed yarns, with a small touch of angelina sparkle spun in too.

Lots of great colors including pink, lavender, gray, royal purple, aqua blue and green. Long tassles finish this hat off that you can tie under your chin or leave loose, they also make hanging and storing super convenient.

I use only clean high-quality, recycled yarn for the production of many of my products. Many knit items that would normally be disposed of can be unraveled for their yarns! Using preloved yarns is even more eco friendly than buying brand new organic or natural yarns.

I combined a bright orange textural cotton yarn with a super soft dark brown acrylic. Because they are made with 2 strands of yarn held together, these babies are plush & warm- great for those chilly nights!

I use only clean, high-quality, recycled + recovered yarn for the production of many of my products. Using preloved yarns is even more eco friendly than buying brand new organic or natural yarns AND it keeps the cost down for you and me!

Washing Instructions:
Like any handmade item, I recommend gentle handwashing and air drying.

My newest line of housewares using upcycled fabric! Go eco in style!!

This cute little trivet/pot holder/hot pad was lovingly made by me with strips of clean, upcycled fabrics. Each trivet uses up to a yard of fabric. I then crochet them into these super sturdy trivets- perfect for protecting surfaces from hot dishes, pots and pans; great for your next indoor/outdoor picnic, potluck or tea party, even as part of a centerpiece or to hold planters.

This one features pretty chocolate & berry colors, with tiny streaks of almond, raspberry, and blueberry in 100% cotton. Made with a loop, so it's perfect for hanging and easily grabbing when you need it.

These also make super-unique wall hangings, pair up a few for a unique look in your kitchen!

Gloriously bold and bright, I handmade this with 2 strands of yarn, one, a locally-produced fuschia wool yarn, the other, a stripey, modish superwash wool with greys, greens, golds, whites and pinks. One handmade Pom pom embellishes each end of the scarf, so cute and cozy!

You can wrap it around 1 or 2 times like a scarf, or 3 or 4 times to make it more like a cowl. Loop it together, tie it, wrap it around... Scarf-Laces are super (multi) functional & adaptable!
