This photograph was taken in Odense, Denmark. I have taken the color out of everything but the river. It is amazing how much color is reflected in the river, but you don't realize it if everything else is green as well. I have not altered the color in the river at all.

When I look at this photograph, it makes me imagine: you live in a black and white world, and have been given a secret glimpse of color, and it looks wonderful. The question is, do you take that opportunity to step into an unknown world, or do you let it pass by, not knowing if it will ever come your way again...

Little Mirrors, Set I, 3-5x5 inch fine art photographs

I don't know the name of this plant, but I was fascinated by it's structure, and all these little leaves that remind me of old-fashioned hand-held mirrors. The leaves are tiny, no more than 1/2 centimeter or 1/4 inch wide. These plants were found in northern Minnesota.

There are 9 photographs total in this series. This set contains photos 1 through 3. These photos are very atmospheric, with soft focus, and subdued color leaning toward burgundy with hints of green and orange.

These photos would look great hung in a set. They are also available individually for $8.50 each, or in a complete set for $65.

Fall is my favorite season. All the leaves are gorgeous colors. Familiar plants change in unique ways. Some by color or structure, others by fruiting to feed the animals. I have desaturated this photograph, but left a bit of a reddish tone on the berries, which gives them a real coppery look. I don't know the name of this plant, but I was fascinated by it's structure, and all these little leaves that remind me of old-fashioned hand-held mirrors. The leaves are tiny, no more than 1/2 centimeter or 1/4 inch wide. These plants were found in northern Minnesota.

There are 9 photographs total in this series. This set contains photos 4 through 6. These photos are very atmospheric, with soft focus, and subdued color leaning toward burgundy with hints of green and orange.

These photos would look great hung in a set. They are also available individually for $8.50 each, or in a complete set for $65.

Northern Minnesota is full of pinetrees. This pinecone had fallen on some deck boards, and I love the contrast of the natural seed that could grow into a great tree against boards that were cut by man from some tree that had already grown large. This image has slight digital effects applied to it, but they are not as obvious as the ones in the digital art photos section.
