This babushka is made for the Europeanstreetteam challange and has given me a lot of joy on making this. I am offering this object to you now.

I used the wet-felting technique to make this babushka.read more about wet-felting in my profile.

The babushka has 5 shapes and different colors.
Biggest is blue approx. 13 cm = 5.12 inch high
Second is Purple approx. 10-11cm = 3.94- 4.33inch
Third is Pink, approx. 10cm = 3.94 inch high
Fourth is dark red, approx. 9 cm = 3.54inch high
Fifth is orangy-brown approx, 9 cm = 3.54inch high

When they are all collected to one it is 13cm= 5.12 inch high and 10 cm = 3.94 inch wide.

The innner doll is made around 2 styrophor balls and cannot stand on it's own, If you preferr a full wool doll give me a week and I can make one like that instead.

Will be giftwrapped and shipped in a box.

These soft/ pale pink booties are so unique and charming. A present which will be a treasury for a lifetime!

I have made them with the wet felting technique. I start with loose wool fibres and after adding water, soap and my own energy from my hands, it all becomes felt!!
It's magical eveytime, because men can not say how it will work out exactly, so It is truly a one of a kind item!

Sizes:
lenght inside: approx. 8 cm = 3.12 inches
hight: 5.5 cm = 2.1 inches

Tip: when the opening is not big enough, just cut in it a little bit so the opening becomes bigger. Felt will not fray, so don't worry about that.

Reversible White and black skiband/ headband WET felted wool out of one piece

This headband is very light to wear and jet so warm!
It prevents your ears freezing off your head. I am certain off that!

I made it with the wet felting technique. No other technique is involved. There are no seams. 'Outside' is white merino wool with black. The 'innnerside' is made in white with wensleydale cruls added. The bottumside is a little bit red. You can also wear them the other way around.

Sizes:
circumfrence inside: approx. 59 cm = 23"
hight: 10-12 cm = 3.9- 4.68"

If the circumfrence is too big, let me know. It is already sturdyly felted, but I might be able to let it shrink a bit more. When I do so, it needs a dya or 2 to dry before it can be shipped.

Description
I am also trying to spare the nature, so I descided to re-use even in my crafting. That's how I got this idea of covering a bottle with wool and make felt around it.

These bottles are great for just one flower behind a window or at the table. The bottle has a very warm expression. This is made in different shades of green.

The bottle is ready to ship.

NOTE: Pricing is for ONE bottle

sizes:
opening: 4cm = 1.57 inch
hight: approx. 30cm = 11.81 inch
width: 7cm = 2.76 inch

Care instructions:
The glass bottle inside can be washed like normal, with a bottle brush. The wool itself can also be washed with a bite of soap and water, rinse soap out very carefully. Wool doesnot get dirty easily, so using a wetted towel is mostly enoug to get a spot gone.
Not suitable for diswashers!

Each bottle weights about 410 gram . Cheapest shipping is till 500gram. I don't know if the box and wrapping can stay under it.... So shipping is of max weight over 500gram.
It will be carefully packed in a shippingbox. Overpaid shippingcosts will always be refunded (especially in case you buy two)

I used the traditional wet-felting technique to make this holder. Using white gotland wool and different shades of red.

When a tealight is buyrning inside or even better a LED light it will shine wonderful through.

I'll ship this holder without a glass, so I can ship it, griftwrapped, flat in an envelop, which saves you on shippingcosts.

Have you always wanted to have a real gnome??
Now you can!!!! This very unique cape has such a adorable effect.
This cape makes a very cute gnome -look -a-like of your(grand)child, or your sisterschild, friends child.....

It is very easy to put on when the baby is asleep and you need to go outdoors. It will hold cold outside, while wool has an enorourmus ability of temperature isolation. Doesn't attracts dirt and is waterresistant.

The cape is made out of one piece.
I layed out woolfibres, made them wet with water and soap and started rubbing. At the end it has become felt. The only things I have made seperately are the felted buttons and the band to hold the two sides together. See my profil for more info about felting

Hand felted Slippers for baby boy in blue decorated with stars

These slippers are so adorable... They give your youngster warm feet for sure! Wool is a good isolator and prevents feet from sweating. I added some rubber at the bottom to prevent your child slipping on the floor.
They make a lovely babyshower gift!I think they fit for children aged about 1 -1,5 year They are even charming to see when not in use.

Lenght bottom sole: 12- 13 cm =approx. 4.72- 5.12 inch
weidth: 5,5 cm = approx. 2.17inch

Technique
I used very soft merinowool and layed it out on a resist/model. I firts lay down wool at one side, make it wet trun it over to the other side and then satr laying wool on side B. I do this 6 times at each side of the resist. That's why I can make it seamless. This is done entirly by hand, no machine, crochetting or knitting involved!
Then made it wet with water and soap and started gently "rubbing". This way I get felt: a very old technique. I have made slippers for myself and my daughters as well and I can assure that they don't itch.

Care: gentle wash in handwarm- cold water.

Wet felted Aqua Blue fish from merino wool

This Fish likes you to give him a name and a new playing friend. It would make a lovely gift too. Small and big kids will love it.

I have made it by using a flat resist. Covered it with 6 layers of wool fibres and then started making felt out of it. After shrinking I used scissors to cut it open. Filled it with wool roving and a little bit of Lavender.
Sewing it underneath a wing, made it closed.

The eyes are made with plastic "stones" to get a sparkling effect in the eyes.

Sizes.
height: 30cm/ 20cm = approx. 11.7 "/ 7.8"
length: 25 cm = approx. 9.8"

Not suitable for children under 3!

Easy care instructions: wool does not absorb dirt very fast, Just take a wet towel and wipe the dirt off.

It's very light but heavenly warm.

I used colors that remind me off the little candy-jelly bears from 'Haribo'. I don't know if you have them at the other side of the ocean, but they are great. The white Chiffon Silk gives a nice contrast with the orangy-pinkish and green merino wool. I have also added some green silk at top of the wool, so it looks as if the green shines up.

Nunofelt is an old feltingtechnique:
I laid wool fibres upon the silk, made everything wet and start rolling for about 500 times! After this I slammed it about 100 times to the table, to fixate the fibres. It's a long and intense proces. It's a one of a kind, because this kind of felting does not give any garantee of a same result if I tried it again.

Falling Leaves on a WETFELTED HAT or beanie

This is a one of a kind warm hat, as I know for sure I can never make one the same.It will fit an adult but a kid as well.

I made it reversible, but I like the side with the leaves on and at the most. The hat is longe enough to flap it over.

The leaves are made with prefelt I made myself, cut then in the shape I wanted and felted them in the hat. Not with a feltingneedle, but just with water, soap and my hands. this happens all in the very beginning of making felt.
After massaging the wool it get stuck together and becomes felt.

Seizes:
height (whitout "flap over"): 29 cm = 11.42 inch
height (with a flapover): 24 cm = 9.45 inch
circumfrence inside : appr.53 cm = 20.87 inch
thickness of the felt: 0.4cm = 0.16 inch

Little rainbow fish wet felted merino wool and organza

Do you know the story about ”The little rainbow fish”? It’s about a little fish with very lovely shiny colours. Other fishes nicely ask if they may have a piece of the shiny skin. The rainbow fish doesn’t want to share…… After a while he notices that no one wants to play with him. He asks advice and then he realises that sharing doesn’t have to be painful. It’s fun, because the other fish now talk to him and play with him. All the other fish get a little piece and see him as a friend now. A real friend knows how to share!

I tried to make the little fish myself by using the wet felt technique. What do you think about it? My kids loved it and recognized it from the book. In the book the fish is more blue, but I’ve made it in red-pink- orange colours. The pictures don’t do right at the colours! They even may vary because of the monitors.
The small pieces of organza fabric interfered with the wool, give this fish a shining appearance.
The fish is sewn at the bottom after filling with pure wool and lavender.

Size:
Length: 17 cm = approx. 6.6”
Height: 12-13 cm approx 4.8”

They are slightly different. One has a longer tail about 16 cm the other 12cm.

I've made it by placing different colors of wool roving on a (Chiffon) Silk scarf. After wetting it with water and soap. I started to gently friction it, by rolling.
After a while (about 500 times rolling over) It has become what is is now:

A beautiful unique shawl in "Ton -sur- Ton" colors,
heavenly warm, but very light to wear.

Sizes.
Lenght: approx. 132 cm = 51.58 Inches
Width: approx. 39 cm = 15.20 Inches

Care: Handwash gently with handwarm water and soap. Rinse soap out with cold water and let dry flat.

This blanket makes a stunning gift for a newborn or for a first birthday. One side is dark blue with a star, the other side is in green shades and with smaller stars.

This is the second blanket I have ever made and it was fun to do! Every piece I make is unique, while the felting proces isn't prescise predictable.

I layed 6 layers of wool so this blanket is lovingly warm. It is square and that makes it also perfect to put in a playpen. Take it along on a day out and use it as a plaid where your child can play on. Wool is not attracting much dirt so very easy in use. See more in my profile and shipping section

This candle holder will give your room a special touch of warmth. It will become a real eye cathcher in your home. During day time it is creme white and in the evening, with a candle in it, it gives a nice warm glow. The seeds comes out even better then!

You can also use it as a little vase for flowers, pot for a small plant, pencilholder, etc....

I wetfelted a little bag with naturalwhite gotland wool and seeds of honesty, put a glass inside and felted on till the wool has shrunk enough to cover the glass.

This blanket is a real must have! So soft and warm.
Colors burst out of it. It can be used as a babyblanket to give at a babyshower, the blanket can be a playground for a toddler or a wallhanging piece.

I think this blanket can be used in so many ways it'll be a joy to have.
I have made this blanket by using the old wetfelting technique and made the 2 sides differently
side A has got rainbowcolors and butterflies,
side B is made in green and a line of rainbowwool. In the middle a heart made with organzafabric.Some butteflies are shining through.
It is not evenly thick, but it is fine felted.See my profile for more info about felting.

This is a unique scarf. I don't think I can ever make the same once again.
I used white chiffon silk and blue merino wool fibres to make it.

Nuno-felt is a technique where the silk and the wool incorporates. The result is a soft falling/draping, not so thick scarf, but because of the wool also very warm.

I am also trying to spare the nature, so I descided to re-use even in my crafting. That's how I got this idea of covering a bottle with wool and make felt around it.

These bottles are great for just one flower behind a window or at the table. The bottle has a very warm expression.

The bottle is (are) made after order. In the colors you prefer.
Give me a week to complete and to let the felt dry.

Care instructions:
The glass bottle inside can be washed like normal, with a bottle brush. The wool itself can also be washed with a bite of soap and water, rinse soap out very carefully. Wool doesnot get dirty easily, so using a wetted towel is mostly enoug to get a spot gone.
Not suitable for diswashers!

It will be carrfully packed in a shippingbox. Overpaid shippingcosts will always be refunded (especially in case you buy two)
