It is Red, white, and what I call Country Blue. <br /><br />Belt fastens in back by threading tip and securing with hidden velcro.<br /><br /><br />Corset design measures 16 inches. It is a total of 35 inches long and will fit waist sizes 32 inches and smaller.<br />2 and 1/4th inches wide.<br /><br />CONDITION: Belt has been in storage, and therefore silk lining has faded where belt has been stored flat. Ends holding Velcro fasteners have invisible lining that provide shape-these have some bends also probably due to storage and age. Side of dress has strings through which to secure a belt which is no longer with us. <br />Zipper in fine working order.<br />All of the seams appear intact and in good condition.<br /><br />One tiny pin-hole found in skirt of fabric.<br />Tiny Dark spot (less than 1/4th of an inch) close to bottom of skirt hem. There is also a line, which looks like a surface scratch- a little less than an inch long. I had to really look for it because the shimmer of fabric disguises it well.<br /><br />I gave the seams a gentle tug- which almost makes me want to gasp, but it is the equivalent of the floral designer&#39;s shake test. Rest assured it wasn&#39;t brutal, but I just wanted to get an ideal of fabric condition. It seems to be fine.<br /><br />A semi-full crinoline would work best with this dress. I tried one that is especially full and it didn&#39;t work well. It appears to have dual layer with a pebble texture. Some texture is due to age, I think, and other is original, especially on the heel. If you look closely at photos, you can compare the two textures.<br /> In the floral industry, we give our arrangements the &quot;shake test;&quot; These shoes received the &quot;squeeze&quot; test to see how it would react to being manipulated. The surface did not crack, and the material seems flexible with more life to offer. I think the wear of the fabric is due to age. It doesn&#39;t appear they have been worn since the bottom and interior are both in generally clean condition with only minor wear.<br /><br />Shoe strings are a creamy color that match shoe color. I don&#39;t know if these are original or not. They may look cute with a ribbon too!<br /><br />All stitching intact. <br /><br />Heel tip is nailed into position typical of older shoes, and seem to be in good condition.
