Even though this piece is pretty small (5in x 7in) it is a great piece in small spaces on your wall.
This collage has been build on a canvas and put together with love and care image by image. The vintage Photo as center piece with digitally designed and printed words, our hand painted leopard spot design frames the whole piece, photo of one of our original Conch Maracas and more from our over the years collected and designed images (on back).
After all the images have been glued in place we put about 5 layers of varnish to give it that thick glossy finish.

Magic Carved Alligator Nut Pendant-always one of a kind

This Alligator Nut (also called Avocado Seed) has been carved by me, Angel'. I inserted a magic blue and white marble. The pendant measures about 1.25 x 1.25 inches. It hangs on a crocheted string of beige sail twine with slip knots for adjusting length.
I learned to carve the seeds and to insert things from my husband the Niteowl.

This very involved method of carving Avocado seeds has been invented and perfected by the RighteousNiteOwl <(@v@)> years ago, when he was taking care of a friends 40 Avocado Trees in southern California.
Every day his mind was pondering on what to do with the Seeds, 'cause there were so many and growing more was really not necessary.
So one day he watched the movie "Oh, God" with George Burns.
In the movie a kid ask God(Burns), if he ever made a mistake and God answered:" Yes, I made the Avocado seed to big".
So there it was again and the Niteowl thought, No, God doesn't make mistakes, there must be a reason, why the seed is so big and sure enough, carving those wonderful gifts of nature popped in his mind. He started carving them and experimenting around, the first seeds, after carving them did not last very long, due to cracking and breaking. So after probably more then 10 years he finally found a way of drying and curing them in a proper way, so they won't break so easy. Some of the seeds feel almost like wood, they're all hard, some feel leathery.
We also soak them in natural oil, so bugs will leave them alone.
They make wonderful jewelry, kazoos, pipes and more.

TAKING CARE OF THEM:
Important, not to get them wet and not to drop them on hard floors, they will break, other than that I have some they're over 10 years old and are still in great shape.
They do have to be oiled every once in a while, when they start to look dry. Choose good smelling oil, baby oil is great and brush it on.

Durga/Parvati/Kali-Earrings- wood 2inch x 1inch

These One-Of-A-Kind Durga Earings are carefully created by finding the right image, transforming it digitally by adding images of the symbols from two of the seven chakras. I chose the 2nd/Sacral/Swadhisthana Chakra(orange-ovaries/prostate) and 3rd/Solar Plexus/Manipura Chakra(yellow-navel area).
Then my final images were pasted on stained oval pieces of 1mm thick wood and covered with several layers of varnish for protection. Then with brass antiqued jumprings, red coral beads and earwires of surgical steel transformed into these unique Ear decorations.

Have fun wearing them and feel the power of Durga running through You.

This vintage lounging Beauty just had to be worked with.
I colored her clothes and added some words digitally.
The words I actually gathered a few years ago, when I watched the first time a Pokemon Movie. I did not expect much of it, I wanted to make sure it's OK for my son to watch, then I heard one of the characters say those words and I thought, how awesome is this, I have to use that saying.
Here there are on that sweet little mirror.

Rakshasa Face-Collage- Wooden Earrings-One-Of-A-Kind

These 1.4 inch wooden discs have been collaged with the picture of a Rakshasa Tattoo. A few layers of varnish protecting the picture and the wood.
Together with brass and glass beads, they make a wonderful pair of earrings. Ear wires are surgical steel.

I Ching Chinese Coin Earrings-Qing Dynasty (1644 to 1912)

These original Chinese Ching(Qing)Dynasty coins are perfect for dangling earrings, I thought, so that is what I made them into.
Together with brass wire,brass beads and green and amber crystals, they became wonderful, magical earrings.
The earwire is surgical steel, to prevent any allergic reactions.

has been picked, cured, painted and collaged by us and is dedicated to the amazing Lillie Christine.
The small macrame ties this piece perfectly together and feels great in your hand.

Dare to be great!

Lilly Christine, born c. 1928 to Swedish mother and Norwegian father in New Orleans; Died in mid 1960's.
Renowed internationally as "The Cat Girl" for her feline charms, this stunning, sultry blonde combined the dance styles of many cultures-the Carribean, Latin America, Africa, and the South Pacific-to forge her own unique brand of exotic dancing; she insisted that her serious artistry was not "stripping," but Lilly's performances bared virtually every inch of her magnificently sculpted 125-pound 37C-22-35 figure.
Performing her classic original routines like the "cat dance," "voodoo dance" and "harem heat," Lilly appeared on stage in a jewel encrusted bikini bra and panties and black net stockings, hurling her long blonde hair back and forth while sensuously weaving across the floor and shredding most of her attire to the hypnotic beat of jungle drums.
After her 1948 debut, Lilly took her act to Broadway in the 1950 Bert Lehr show Burlesque, followed by a featured tole that fall in Mike Todd's Peep Show and the 1956 show Strip For Action.

Mata Hari was the stage name of Margaretha Geertruida "Grietje" Zelle (7 August 1876, Leeuwarden – 15 October 1917, Vincennes), a Dutch exotic dancer and courtesan who was executed by firing squad for espionage during World War I.

These sweet colorful lightweight Leopard Earrings are made with a wooden Oval (1.5inch x 0.5inch and 1/16 of an inch thick) on which I pasted the image of my digital hand painted leopard spots. Many coats of varnish protecting the spots and make 'em shine. Then put together with brass wire, green and turquoise glass beads and a hematite heart. The ear wire is surgical steel.

HEALING PROPERTIES OF HEMATITE

Physical Healing
