Felted Tea Party Set and Cup Cozy

This hand knit and felted tea set has a dual purpose: it will provide children with hours of pretend play fun as they open a coffee shop or enjoy tea with their teddies. Knit and felted with quality wool yarn so it's sturdy and a much better quality than you'd find in the dollar store varieties. The handles are stuffed with either batting or wool scraps so they are puffy and soft, creating a nice grip for hands.

Felted Snowmen Bowling Game

Fun for little ones who are learning hand-eye coordination and enjoy tactile fun.
Line the ten plush, hand knit and felted snowmen just like bowling pins in the alley. Roll the round knit and felted ball at them and knock them down! Toddlers will get instant gratification from it, as some of the snowmen are easily tipped.
Each snowman is adorned with a face (many with carrot noses), buttons, arms, scarves, and either a hat or a broomstick. They each have their own personalities, so much so that my daughter has even named them! Patch the Pirate is lost at sea in his dinghy. Will he find land and treasure, or will he sink?
Children will delight in this fun knit and felted toy set. The dinghy is double knit in a cork color, and it actually floats in water!! Felt has a natural water-resistant quality. This effect will wear off after a time and the boat will eventually sink, but if you let it dry thoroughly it'll work again.
Patch the Pirate is knit and felted in one piece. He has no choking hazards and is fun to hold. He wears an eye patch and is 5" tall. The dinghy is 6" long by 2" high.

Chevron Stripes Felted Alpaca Hat

Here is a unisex hat with appeal to both genders, young and older.
Hand knit and felted in lovey soft alpaca yarn, the main color of the hat is called Tide Pool Heather, a bluish green. The dark chevron stripes are in Midnight Heather, a very deep navy.
On children the hat is roomy; on adults it is to the tip of the ear and snug around the skull. A very cute look! Mr. Head, my glass model, is 23" around and the hat looks nice on him.
It is 5" all around. I felted it lightly so it still somewhat floppy - not a stiff fabric as you can get with more heavily felted items.
Alpaca wool is warm and water repellent. Wear it out on cold days walking in the park, to football games, and anywhere you want some stylish warmth.

Hand knit and felted by 11 year old Emily, this small bag was designed to hold a box of 24 crayons. It is a perfect fit!
Use it in the car, or at restaurants, where a portable activity bag comes in very handy.
It can also be used by children who like a special place to hold their collections. In my household, back-to-school is an exciting time, and grippers, erasers, crayons, etc are treasured items.
Loose crayons line up nicely but the bag is taller. It has a tomato red base and flap, and the rest is in a variegated yarn of tan, brown, and olive green.
The flap closes over a plastic crayon button.
Measurements are 5"x3"x1".
Eleven year old Emily designed and knit this bag herself. She wanted to do something that helped speed summer along til school time.

The Roy G. Biv Bag - Felted Fringed Rainbow Purse

Remember learning the colors of the rainbow with the acronym Roy G. Biv?
Here is a bag to brighten any room or mood. Hand knit and felted, the purse features horizontal stripes of the rainbow, starting with violet at the bottom and following with indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. The base is violet.
The top of the bag was finished off with one stitch in turn of each color, and I took the resulting yarn ends and let them get felted too.
The bag has a cheery hippie look. It's slouchy and relaxed, and the fringe gives it a uniqueness other bags lack.
It is 3.5in (9cm) deep at the base. The length tapers from 7in(17cm) at the bottom to 11in (28cm) across the top. Two green handles straddle the center and are 5in (12cm)high.

Gobbles the Felted Child's Pouch

Children will get a kick out of Gobbles, the felted pouch with Pursenality (personality, get it?)
Hand crocheted and felted in a deep teal color, Gobbles is a flat diamond shape with a mouth that opens across the center. A pale pink zipper is its mouth, with rosy cheeks on each side that are needle felted in place. Two large blue eyes are also needle felted and topped by black eyelashes. Gobbles' comical look is topped by a colorful hairdo of yarn that is in bright primary colors.
When Gobbles' mouth is unzipped, the mouth will widen to about 2-3 inches high.
This pouch is great for portable fun. Gobbles has definite character and kids will make funny noises as they feed Gobbles. Use it to carry crayons, toys, dolls, and juice boxes, just to name a few.
Rosy cheek to rosy cheek, Gobbles measure 10 inches across. From the top of its tasseled head to its pointy chin, it measures 9 inches.

Simmering Cauldron - Felted Halloween Bowl or Bag

This cauldron is a terrific prop for the costumed witch, as a candy bowl for trick or treaters, or just plain Halloween fun. Wispy tendrils and fingers of flame climb the sides as if the pot is over an open fire. All that's needed is some eye of newt!
Knit and felted in black wool from my own pattern, I have needle felted flames in oranges and yellow. The bottom of the cauldron is finished in a novelty yarn with black eyelash and puffs of orange and red, making it look more like the cauldron has been set on hot embers. It also has a handle for carrying ease. It is 6" tall, 6" around the top, and the widest part of its belly circumference is 22".

Thanksgiving colors of pumpkin and currant combine to create a dynamic and eye-popping diamond patterned felted bag.
Hand knit in a design to be round and tall - shaped like a miniature duffel and perfect as a project bag, small tote, lunch sack, or whatever purpose suits you. There are two pumpkin colored pockets inside for safe storage of keys, sunglasses, wallet, etc.
The base of the bag is pumpkin colored and is 5.5 inches (14cm) in diameter. It is 8 inches tall (20cm). There is a pumpkin felted draw string closure that measures 13 inches long. The pockets are 3x3 inches.
It even looks really cool turned inside out with the pockets on the outside. The diamond patterning is visible but the color variation is busier.

For those of you who prefer a smaller bag and a more affordable price, I bring you the Town Home Bag. Think of it as the homeowners in this bag had to downsize, and now they own a smaller town home! Each skull is 4" inches long, and the opening at the bottom is 1.5 inches wide. It will hold pieces of candy while the lower jaw mandible balances the skull as it sits on a table. Some candy items will be too small and fit through the eye holes, but small bars, Kisses, caramels, etc. work just fine.
Use the lower mandible as a handle when ready to depart the party and hold your new friend upside down for a time.

Very thick and warm, this button blanket will keep a dog cozy on those coldest nights or when the snow is falling on a walk.
Hand knit in a chunky yarn, the fabric felted to a denseness of almost a 1/4". The colors are dark and light olive greens, with flecks of an orangy yellow. The button band fastens around a dog's neck. It is 12" long and 15" wide. The neck band extends 2" at each side, resulting in an 8" neck width.
Please measure your dog around the neck and length of back to ensure a good fit. I'll be happy to custom make a cape to fit your own dog's measurements.

A rare item in the dog apparel world - the felted sweater. Soft wool felt is warm and water repellent, so a pooch can enjoy a walk in light rain or snow and not feel too discomfited. Dog nails also won't catch in stitches, so this will retain its chic look without snags or holes.
This cheery yellow item was made especially for a Tea Cup Yorkie. In the photos, please see an actual Yorkie wearing a green version.

Little Felted Basket Bag

With the look of woven fabric and colors interlocking, this hand knit and felted bag is truly unique. I had no idea what it would look like before I felted it, and I am truly pleased with the results.
It's a square bag, 6 inches high by 6 inches wide(15cmx15cm).
The colors are a burgundy, teal, and deep purple. The bottom is 3 inches deep (7cm), allowing for roomy storage of keys, phone, tiny wallet and a lipstick. The burgundy handles join in a circle on each side at the center, giving a comfortable hand or over-the-elbow hold. The rim of the bag undulates in a scalloped edging.
It has an old fashioned look. It's something I figured Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother would make for her beloved granddaughter, to match her red cloak and for her to use to collect those wildflowers she finds so pretty. While most of us don't stray off the beaten path to collect flowers, this purse would sure serve the modern purpose of being our little helper as we go about our busy lives.

Hand knit and felted in a rich chocolate brown with 2 shades of pink running up the center. There is a slit cut into the scarf to slide the other end into so you won't have to worry about tying the ends.
It is 4" wide in the center, flaring to 6" at the ends. It is 45" long.

From stem to base these pumpkins range 5-7" tall. They are stuffed with polyfiber so it's squeezable, huggable, and round. Circumference is 19". I've made several using various shades of pumpkin, just like you'd find in a real pumpkin patch.
The pumpkin has great appeal for young children too - mine can't keep their hands off them! (I made one for our own household, so don't worry, yours will be clean and new).

Introducing the third creation in my line of Bobble Bags! This one is very chic and fun. Hand knit and felted in a rich dark royal blue, there are rows of dark pink bobbles and light pink bobbles that give it an all around texture and eye catching appeal. A pink border pulls the look together.
The sides are sewn together with the blue corded handles so the bag tapers gently for a really cute shape.

Felted Brick House Tote Bag

This has been a labor of love.
Combining my interests in architecture, historic houses, and knit design, I have created a Georgian Manor Tote Bag.
Hand knit in a realistic brick pattern with red and black yarn for the bricks and light yellow for the mortar, the tote bag features two white pockets simulating paned windows, and roof eaves in black and brown wool (not felted). Two handles rise like chimneys in a darker yellow mortar and the same brick colors.
On the back you'll find a brown door pocket, with the homeowner ( a three-dimensional felted female figure doll)just about to put her hand on the copper colored door knob.
The tote bag is 10.5 inches high by 14.5 inches wide. The window pockets are 3.5 inches high by 4 inches wide. The back door is 3 inches wide by 5 inches high. The 2 handles are 24 inches long and spaced 9.5 inches apart. See one of the photos of Manakin Skywalker wearing it over her shoulder. The roof flap, giving it secure closure, is 2 inches long.

Knit Ribbon Hat Band

I've been knitting hats lately and find that they can get an entirely new look if you use a decorative band around the brim. They do not have to be permanently attached, so you can rotate colors and patterns and have a new hat any day you want!
My first hat band is knit as a thin cord from nylon ribbon yarn. The colors range from a deep blue and pale til it gets to white. The band is joined in a circle, but two tails dangle romantically. It looks sweet with the tails at the side or at the back. It is 23" (56cm) with a little bit of stretch.

Thick, safe and ready to celebrate the holidays for kitchen chefs and outdoor grillers.
Hand knit and felted using a combination of evergreen and holly berry yarns, the colors fleck in interesting variances.
Properties of felted wool include heat and flame resistance. It is also water repellent.
The oven mitt was felted twice so it is extra thick and protective. It is 10.5 inches long and has a tiny loop for hanging on a hook.
The pot holders are knit in an octagon shape. There are 2 in the set and each is 6.5 inches wide, with a loop for hanging. They could also be used for pots or casserole dishes to stand on or as trivets.
The deep red and green would look great in kitchens to bring out the wood tones of cabinets.
