We always recommend first that you have a friend measure for you if you can't get measured professionally. Have your friend measure several times to make sure you're getting the same thing every time. Wrap the tape measure around your head where you plan to wear the hat and pull as tight as you want the hat to be. Measure in inches, the more accurate, the better as a hat size is the difference of 3/8" And feel free to send us a picture of the measuring tape wrapped around your head if you're still not sure. These hats are for Red Handed Jill and all the ladies in the Lost Girls Pirate Academy. Especially Green-Eyed Sue.

To me this is the quintessential mini pirate hat. We started with a black velvet tricorn then added red satin ribbon and white lace around the brim. On the side are a double rosette, pirate cameo and gold and black striped ribbon. Finishing it off are two curled ostrich plumes in red and black.
This hat is held on by a comb in the back and elastic loops on the sides. You can bobby pin the loops or run a headband through them.

We have made new variations on our Captain Spaulding! Now your Captain Spaulding is more customizable than ever! Because of it's overwhelming popularity, we decided to cater to the creative.

We can make this hat in *almost* any color or fabric, with leather in several shades of brown and black, and a variety of laces which can be removed and replaced as easily as shoelaces.

Additionally, they can be made shorter or taller to your specifications.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

This wonderful top hat is made from khaki canvas. It has lots of top stitching and flat felled seams. The top of the crown has accents in brown distressed leather and bronze nailheads. The hat band is brown striped cotton threaded through leather straps and is finished off with a matching bow and tails in the back. The hat laces up through corset grommets both front and back.

This top hat is a beautiful Dickens style hat. This hat can be made as a standard Dickens or as a Christmas Dickens with holly or pointsettia trim - perfect for Christmas Carollers.

As seen in the pictures, coordinating bonnets are also available.

Because it is a custom hat, it can be made in virtually any color or fabric from velvet to sequins. As with all our hats, it is fully lined and very durable. This hat is made to last!

With this hat you are getting a Custom Made hat. It will be made to your specifications. You decide the size, color and fabric.

If you are not 100% positive about your head size, we ask that you do one or more of the following:
Either take a picture of your head with a measuring tape wrapped around it,
Have a friend measure for you, several times to ensure accuracy, each hat size is a difference of 3/8" so the closer the better, or
Get your head professionally measured.

It is very common that customers don't measure their heads right, so in order to prevent any discrepancies, an accurate head measurement is vital!

We have made new variations on our Captain Spaulding! Now your Captain Spaulding is more customizable than ever! Because of it's overwhelming popularity, we decided to cater to the creative.

We can make this hat in *almost* any color or fabric, with leather in several shades of brown and black, and a variety of laces which can be removed and replaced as easily as shoelaces.

Additionally, they can be made shorter or taller to your specifications.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

We now have grommets in three colors as well: black, silver and gold, so you can literally tie your whole look together!

All you have to do is ask and we can probably do it!

This wonderful top hat is made from black crepe-backed satin. It has lots of top stitching and flat felled seams. The top of the crown has accents in black leather and bronze nailheads. The hat band is black brocade threaded through leather straps and is finished off with a matching bow and tails in the back. The hat laces up through black corset grommets both front and back.
