Okay, I'm not going to lie. My friends and I have nicknamed this the "Deranged Chimneysweep Hat." It has an unusual shape and looks like it belongs on...well, a chimneysweep (one with an eye for bling -- check out that awesome rhinestone accent!).

But the truth is, it looks pretty great once you have it on. Inside, it's labeled "Vicki" and marked as a size Large, although I don't know if I'd agree with that sizing. Inside circumference is 22".

Who doesn't need a little extra time? Now you have it, with this jaunty little compact purse swinging at your side.

Compacts like these were a nifty option for girls-on-the-go in the early to mid 20th century (sounds like ages ago, doesn't it). They had a place for everything -- powder, lipstick, and comb -- plus a couple of extra compartments for whatever else they might need. I like to think of those as the "Mata Hari" compartments...for the adventuress that likes to hide away her top secret documents safe while keeping her nose powdered.

I've added the antique watch face to add extra interest to the brass finish. The purse measures 5.25 x 3 x .75 inches. The clasp works beautifully and it's in very nice condition, other than some wear/scratching to the outer finish.
