This very detailed lesson will show you how to construct my version of an antique key pendant. The techniques taught include coiling, weaving, attaching beads, and making spirals. This little key is only 2 ¼” long and 1 ¼” wide. This is an advanced project that will require some patience to complete but the result will be a romantic pendant worthy of becoming an heirloom.

•12” of 18 ga Round Soft Wire

•8 to 10 gemstone beads, 2.5 to 3mm

TUTORIAL Curly Q Bezel Reversible Pendant

This tutorial teaches how to make an embellished reversible bezel setting from sterling silver or other wire for a top drilled gemstone or glass pendant. It will guide you through obtaining the correct measurements for your particular stone, and many other variations are possible. The construction method results in an extremely sturdy bail that will not break.

1 pendant stone top drilled from side to side. Mine measures 30mm X 22mm.

Druzy and Sterling Silver Pendant

Earthy and casual yet with lots of sparkle, this pendant features an agate druzy stone surrounded by a hand formed and soldered sterling silver frame. The frame has been stamped with a texture for added interest and the stone is secured in the frame with a fine silver pin. The color is a neutral, go with anything grey and the back of the stone is highly polished. The total length including the bail is 1 3/8". It measures 9/16" wide and is 1/4" thick.

The chain is not included but I have them available for a small extra charge.

I absolutely love the way these earrings turned out. If you think you wouldn't have anyplace to wear these, think again. Aside from the obvious cocktail dress, how about jeans and a motorcycle jacket? Or one of the maxi dresses that are back in style? These are the perfect colors for summer. As for the details, these are entirely created by hand from sterling silver wire which has been oxidized to show off the details. There are three gorgeous lemon quartz briolettes dangling from each earring. They are loaded with sparkling rondelles of lemon quartz, golden tourmaline, rhodolite garnet, and a peachy mystic quartz, with a little garnet briolette wired into the center. All gemstones are A quality or above. They hang 2 1/4" long including the secure kidney wires. You'll feel the opulence of these earrings as each one weighs 5.9 grams.
