This perfect little tear-drop beach stone has an amazing amount of stripes that continue all the way around the stone. Different shades of gray make this pendant versatile enough to wear every day. The tea cup came from my mother's fine china set. She let me have this cup because it was cracked. The pattern name is 'suzanne'and has different colored roses on the inside of the cup. Only one pink rose can be seen on the outside of the tea cup. I used scrap pottery pieces that I bought here, from a fellow etsy artist. This pottery adds lots of detail and texture to my piece. I like to make art work that is also functional; the double-hook is a great place to hang keys and the mug a catch-all for business cards, MP3 players, etc...

The piece measures 8" x 11"
with a small 3" x 2.5" mirror

This piece is almost a perfect triangle, but then the beauty of sea glass is in the imperfections brought by sand and sea. I drilled a hole in the sea glass and attached a leather cord with lobster claw clasp. The leather will come in 17" length, but please contact me if you'd like a different length. No Problem. This Scallop Shell Mirror was made using the copper foil, solder method - same as stained glass. I found the scallop shells in Cape Cod. I finished the piece with a protectant that also gives the shells a bit of a wet look, not really shiney. The back side is finished with rice paper and a sturdy hanging wire.

The natural peridot is set into a rustic flower shape atop a rectangle. I love working with PMC(precious metal clay), and the peridot is one of the only natural gems that can withstand the kiln. PMC starts out as workable clay and after firing you are left with pure silver. I treated the piece with liver of sulfer to acheive the antiqed look.

The glass nuggets I used look like giant glass gumdrops. Black grout and white glass tile background make the colorful gumdrops stand out. I apply many layers of waterproof sealer to all of my mosaics, but especially the birdbaths.

17" diameter & weighs 13lbs.

A base for the birdbath is not included, but there are lots of artistic ways to display them. Simply place it on a pile of pebbles, place on a stump (like shown in bottom photo), or turn a large ceramic plant pot upside-down and place on top.

I used pale green ceramic tile and canary yellow glass tile to form the swirling ebb. There are caribean blue glass tiles strewn about in the swirl. Green stained glass was used in the corners, and grey grout.
I apply multiple coats of grout and tile sealer to all my pieces to add durability. There is a saw-tooth hanger on the back. 9" x 9.25"
