I like the contrast between the clean, geometric shapes of the square. You can really concentrate on the height of each layer and the contrast of the shapes themselves in this mini sculpture.<br /><br />I love the round shape whose base or background is a pretty clean circle, only a few rough edges. Then as the levels progress the shape starts to degrade, with natural edges and clean edges on the same layer. You can adjust the length at which it hangs by moving the slide up or down. It moves freely but as it hangs on your neck the tension will keep the slide right where you put it.<br /><br />The cord hangs a little over 16&quot; at its longest, not including pendant. It is definitely left of center. I used to hang it with large steel chains coming off the three points which have since been lost in my many moves, however, some chunky bolts will do the trick nicely. We can discuss. The bolts/chains are part of the design and do not carry the weight of the piece. There is a strong wire across the back to hang. I will send a heavy duty frame hanger with it - it is what I have always used and it does the trick.<br /><br />It is 3 ft x 5 ft. aluminum, lost wax casting. I call it &quot;El Nacimiento&quot; which means &quot;The Birth&quot; in italian. ONE OF A KIND. A ton of work went into this and I loved every minute of it.
