This listing is for one sculpture, I can do discounts for larger groups, convo me and I will put up a listing for you.

Each piece takes many hours to create using the needle felting method
This is where raw unspun fleece is sculpted and turned into felt by stabbing thousands of times with a tiny barbed needle
Then the item is topped with coloured fleece and fibres to make a cute likeness of your beloved pet

Some pieces can have wire frames to make them slightly moveable and depending on the fur of the animal I have a range of fibres from wool to silk to bamboo, camel, alpaca, goat and even recycled plastic bottles!!
Glass or felted eyes finish off the look.

All items are made in a smoke free but pet friendly home in the west of Scotland.
Please allow up to 6 weeks for the item to be made and shipped to you (although it usually takes much less than that) and before I ship an item I always send you photographs so you are totally happy with it before I send.

Every dollshouse needs a dog, it brings life and warmth to the house.
and now you can have a scale model of your dog (or any dog you choose) in your house.
Of course these little cuties would be great to display if even if you dont have a dollshouse.
Needle felting is the process of turninig raw unspun fleece and animal fibres into solid 3D felt by thousands of stabs with a tiny barbled needle. This creates a totaly one of a kind sculpture - which, if you want, your dogs hair can be encorporated into the felt.

All I need from you is some photographs of your dog - or to let me know the breed you would like
and the height of your dog at the withers (floor to shoulder)

The dogs in the photographs here are based on my dogs who are around 12 - 18 inches in height, and so the scale models are 1 - 1.5 inches tall.

I am willing to consider any breed and will send you photographs for your approval before shipping. Larger breeds may cost a little more so please contact me if you are unsure.

The dogs will have wire in their legs.

She is a firmly needle felted Dalmation puppy in a sitting postion approx 4 inches tall
She is so young that her little paw pads and tummy are still pink.

Needle felting is the process of taking raw unspun fleece and stabbing it thousands of times with a barbed needle until the fibres matt together and form a 3D felt shape.

He is a little muddled up, not sure if he wants to be a sea horse or a dragon fly - but thats the magic of your imagination
He is approx 6 inches tall when his tail is straight.

His wings (which are dificult to capture on foto) is fine fused Angelina fibres giving a stunning shimmering iridescent effect

This fantastic charity saved my lovely dog Mia (see her at http://benmcfuzzylugs.blogspot.com) from Ireland where she was in the pound with only days to live.
They save many dogs every year. Visiting the pound and photographing the pound - knowing that many of the dogs will not be there the next time they visit. Desperatly trying to find homes for the dogs to go to, racing to get the dogs out of the pound before it is put to sleep, finding foster homes while any vet treatment is carried out and then transporting to their new homes. Ontop of this they also have to find the funds to keep saving these dogs.

If you buy this listing you will get a collage of some of these dogs in their before and after shots - it is just amazing to see the difference in these animals - the love and joy returning to their eyes.
The collage also contains the touching rescue poem 'the reason'

This is my way of trying to give something back to these wonderful people who do hearbreaking work every day.

Tim has just been sleeping so he is slightly reclined, poised to, errm well, fall back asleep again

This handsome yet cute big guy is solidly needle felted of a core of white fleece onto which a mixture of fibers have been added to give life to his stunning orange fur.
These fibers include fleece, silk, bamboo and alpaca

The only wire in this guy is in his stunning amber glass eyes, I used no pattern for him, just my imagination

He is not designed as a childs toy and the eyes are not safey eyes although he is very firmly felted and would sand up to some loving

This listing is for one portrait in acrylics and one needle felted sculpture - they can be of the same or different dogs

These paintings measure 6 inch by 9 inch on acrylic board
They are unframed for ease of posting.

In a Pop art, cartoon style you can have the background in any colour you like to suit your room.

The sculpture is just over 2 inches high firmly needle felted on a wire frame. They look great on display, in a dollshouse or even on your desk for when you cannot be with your beloved pet.

I can even include a little of your pets hair in with the sculpture.

I started making my red foxes inspired by a trip in Argyl where I had a real brush with wildlife.
Down a single track road in the middle of nowhere I saw a fox in the middle of the road. I stopped to let him pass but no! He came fight up to the window and sat their watching me and looking like he wanted a treat.

Red squirrels in the UK have been in a steady decline due to the grey squirrels who are not native to the UK but outcompeate the reds for food and habitat.

Now there is a new danger.
Grey squrrels infected with Squirrel pox (a desease that dosent affect them but kills the red squirrels they come into contact with) have been spotted heading across the border into Scotland.

Nutkin himself is about 4 inches high felted in the most stunning orange and red blend of fibres including silks, bamboo and a little glits.

He would look fab in any display whether for autumn or an all year round reminder of these fab little critters - and he would make a great talking point to explain why these guys need our help.

He has been made in Scotland in a smoke free home (dont worry he is clear of the virus) and happy to go anywhere in the world.

This lovely little panda is firmly needle felted in white and purple fleece.
All the features are felted on, there is no joints or wire or anything, he is 100% needle felted in my smoke free home in Scotland.

He would make a really fun addition to a dollshouse or a display, he is firmly felted with no sharp edges but is not designed as a childs toy.

He is 1 inch tall at the withers, which if he was scaled up from dollshouse size would make him a 12 inch tall doggie

He is firmly needle felted from merino fibres with wire in his legs so he can be gently posed.

Although firmly felted he is not designed as a toy but as a display item. He would look great in any doggy display or would bring life and fun to your dollshouse. Every home should have a dog! (even if its just a mini one)

This little cat is only just over one inch tall but he is full of attitiude

He is made by needle felting coloured fleece. The detail in the mini sculptures is almost as much as in a full sized peice
He is a origonal one of a kind made with no pattern and no wire

He would add fun to any dolls house.

This little guy is needle felted from 100% merino fleece
He is the brightest little orange colour with a lovely expression
He would grace any Halloween or autumn display, and is the perfect size for any dollshouse

He is approx 1 inch wide and high (1.5 inches to the tip of his stalk)

Although tiny he is perfectly formed, this little guy took over 2 hours work.

Every dollshouse needs a dog, it brings life and warmth to the house.
and now you can have a scale model of your dog (or any dog you choose) in your house.
Of course these little cuties would be great to display if even if you dont have a dollshouse.
Needle felting is the process of turninig raw unspun fleece and animal fibres into solid 3D felt by thousands of stabs with a tiny barbled needle. This creates a totaly one of a kind sculpture - which, if you want, your dogs hair can be encorporated into the felt.

All I need from you is some photographs of your dog - or to let me know the breed you would like
and the height of your dog at the withers (floor to shoulder)

The dogs in the photographs here are based on my dogs who are around 12 - 18 inches in height, and so the scale models are 1 - 1.5 inches tall.

I am willing to consider any breed and will send you photographs for your approval before shipping.

The dogs will have wire in their legs.

'Serendipity' is a happy accident

This wrist cuff is made from stunning pinks and purple wool and silks nuno felted onto a feather light purple chiffon.
Nuno felting means felting onto fabric, it creates lovely texture on the fabric and at points the shimmer of the fabric can be seen peeking through the felt.
Every one is different and the swirls of colour really stimulate the imagination, like looking at patterns in the clouds.

The fabric is then embroidered in purple and pink silks with tiny seed beads added for a little sparkle

This fine fabric is then needle felted onto a cerise pink felt cuff

It is fastend with pop studs (I think Americans call it snap fastners) and finnished with pretty flower embelishments

This cuff is 3 inches by 8 inches

This tiny (approx 1 inch) panda has been carefully dry needle felted

These small critters have almost the same level of detail as my larger models and take hours to create

The needle felted sculptures bring life and love to any dollshouse. This little guy would look great in a nursury, left on a chair by a messy child or stored in the attic when the children have left home.

He is fixed in position, he has no wires or anything, only wool but he wouldnt withstand rough play by children or pets, he is a colector item who needs to be loved

as with all these models he looks much better in real life
