When I first saw this pendant, I was immediately reminded of an Indian summer. The colors are evocative of warm fall days, when the leaves have started to turn and the sunlight has become mellow but the temperature has not yet dropped.

A resin pendant was wrapped with enamel-coated copper wire and flanked by 2 small tiger's eye and 2 long wood beads. The necklace alternates small tiger's eye beads flanked by orange Swarovski crystals and large tiger's eye beads flanked by orange glass beads. The sets are separated by medium tiger's eye beads. The jump rings, crimp beads, crimp covers, and clasp are all solid copper. Approximately 17.5 inches (44.5 cm) long.

I think I have Christmas on the brain; as soon as I put these earrings together, I was reminded of Christmas ornaments. First, to those who got the reference, welcome fellow lovers of 90s music!

I started with a light-weight aluminum frame and hand wrapped it with 2 different colors of copper wire. One is a bright finish, and the other has been coated to appear darker. I ran a strand of the darker wire up the center and accented it with bright copper beads. The darker copper wire was thickly wrapped around the top to provide contrast to the tightness of the body of the piece. A copper jump ring was added, so this piece is ready to slip on to your favorite necklace. Pendant is approximately 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm) long, not including the jump ring, and 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) wide.

This unique piece is great for fall and beyond.

Snowflake obsidian is my newest obsession; I think it means I'm ready for winter. If you aren't familiar, snowflake obsidian is a beautiful black stone with gray mottling. It reminds me of snow silently falling on a winter's night.

I wrapped a snowflake obsidian donut with sterling silver wire and then strung sterling silver beads and 2 sizes of snowflake obsidian round beads above. The ear hooks are also sterling silver. They are simple, chic, and totally unique.

There's something about these earrings; I think it's the slight smokiness and slightly abstract design of the resin pendants combined with the dark shine of the hematite stones, but they make me think of Ingrid Bergman or Barbara Stanwyck in a black and white film noir. The style is concise; there is no room for extraneous frippery. Resin pendants hang below high-polished hematite beads. The wire is hand wrapped and attached to sterling silver earwires. The length is approximately 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) from the bottom of the hook. They are classic, dark, and just a hint mysterious. Who doesn't love a little mystery?
